"Grandpa, don't worry, she's not going to pin anything on me," Calliope assured Eamon with a smile. "I've got it all handled. Just giving you a heads up, in case anything does come up, so you won't be caught off guard. But honestly, maybe I'm just overthinking it, she might not even have bad intentions."

Eamon glanced over at Yvette and sighed.

Calliope sat with Eamon for a bit longer.

Without any drama from the Jansen family, the wedding went off without a hitch. Everything was still smooth sailing by the time the evening rolled around.
