A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

"If you're not the reason, then who is? Are you going to tell me you guys broke up because of Benson?"

"Exactly." Theo took a step forward and glanced at Benson icily. He continued in a chilly tone, "Should I say it for you, or do you want to do it yourself?"

Benson stared at Theo's cold and stern face and flew into a rage. "This is between me and Cee, Uncle Theo. Why do you insist on interfering?"

"It looks like I'll have to do the talking, then," Theo responded sharply. "Benson fell

in love with another lady, and Sierra found out about it. Then, she broke up with him over it.

"But he kept pestering her and asked his men to deliberately hurt her. He's blackmailing her and forcing her to stay together with him."

Edward's face darkened when he heard what Theo said. His expression turned extremely grim as he glared at Benson. "How dare you do something this awful? You even hurt Cee in the process!"

"I just didn't want Cee to break up with me, Grandpa. I didn't mean to hurt her. What happened that day was just a misunderstanding," Benson explained hastily.

Edward slammed the table before grabbing a cup and hurling it at Benson. "If you don't want to break up with Cee, then why did you fall for another lady? Why did you betray her?"

The fruit juice in the cup stained Benson's white suit. He lowered his head, explaining, "I didn't fall in love with another lady, Grandpa. Cee has always been the woman I love."

"Did you do anything that's unfaithful, then?" Edward asked sternly.noveldrama

A hint of diffidence flashed in Benson's eyes. He kept his head lowered and flat- out denied it. "No, I merely expressed some concern to that young lady, but I did it because I took pity on her and her background. We didn't do anything else."

"Benson has been kind-hearted and helpful since he was a little boy, Dad. It's possible that he offered a helping hand to the young lady out of the kindness of his heart. Sierra is narrow-minded. So, maybe she misunderstood it."

Janet might not have known about the ins and outs of this debacle, but she immediately defended her own when she saw that he was chided. Then, she scowled at Sierra.

It was all Sierra's fault.

William also hurriedly spoke up, "I know about this too, Mr. Gray Senior. Sierra misunderstood

Sierra scoffed. That was a load of crap. She balled up her fists, and there was a subtle frigidity in her eyes.

Benson's expression changed once more. He clenched both his fists and gnashed

his teeth. "What do you gain from ruining my love life, Uncle Theo?"

"I'm not, but the young lady is my assistant, and she has handed in her resignation."

"Be that as it may, I can still track her down."

"Uncle Theo. This is "

"Enough." Edward's expression turned cold as he cut off Benson When he slammed the table, the impact was so strong that the plates on it shook a little. "Benson and

Sierra's marriage is called off."

Benson said anxiously, "Grandpa..."

"I'm not your grandpa. You've done such terrible things. Now that you and Cee have broken up, you are forbidden from pestering her anymore.

"If I should find out that you hurt her again, I won't let you off the hook that easily!" Edward interrupted Benson and snarled viciously.

Benson was intensely frustrated but chickened out when he met Edward's furious glare.

Now that the wedding had been called off, William balled up his fists in annoyance. He had big plans, and they vanished into thin air just like that.
