After Divorcing my Captain Husband (Chloe and Michael)

Divorcing 432

Chapter 432 Apologize

Seeing the complicated expressions his family looked at him, Michael knew the divorce had been publicized.

"Grandpa, I..."

Admas was still angry now.

Michael was outraged when he saw the photos scattered on the table.

"Chloe, what's going on with these pictures?"

Chloe smiled, "You can ask your sister."

Cathy shrugged and looked at Michael's somber eyes.

"Michael, I... I was afraid Chloe had cheated on you, so I took pictures of it as evidence!"

Michael glared at Cathy without speaking to her and turned to Chloe.

"Chloe, I know nothing has happened between you and him. I'm burning these pictures right now."

If some people saw those pictures, the story would be in the headlines.

Besides, Michael didn't want too many people outside to know about his divorce from Chloe.

Cathy hesitated as if she wanted to say something.

She did want to say it, but she was afraid of being scolded by Michael if she did.

"Why are you stammering? Just say it!"

Admas glanced at her and snorted softly.

Cathy shivered, her eyes filling with tears.

"Grandpa, I had posted those pictures online before I got here."

The others were all stunned.

"I'm sorry that I didn't know you were divorced!"

Cathy cried out in great grievance.

She felt it was all because they didn't tell her about the divorce.

"You! Well, what do you want me to tell you?"

Admas pointed at Cathy, and even his fingers were shaking.

Victoria stood aside and felt even more humiliated.

It was her daughter she had taught, and she didn't know what Admas would think of her.

"Now issue a statement immediately and minimize the impact."

Michael nodded and stepped aside to call his assistant.

Chloe shrugged, thinking that it didn't need to be so complicated.

As long as she explained to the public that she was divorced, it wouldn't matter so much.

When Chloe came out of the Shawn Manor, Michael followed after her before she could get into the car.

"Chloe, wait a moment!"

Chloe stood beside her car.

"For what happened today, I should apologize."

Chloe raised her eyebrows and thought, "Will he apologize to me?"

Michael, who had always been arrogant, had learned to apologize to others.

"It was Cathy's fault for what happened today."

"So she should be the one to apologize."

Michael felt helpless. Then, he nodded and said, "I'll ask her to issue a statement to apologize to you."

Chloe shook her head. "It's not just me. There's also William."

"Who's William?"

Michael had no idea who William was, so he blurted it out without thinking.

"The man in the picture with me."

Chloe was considered a member of the Shawn family before, so it made sense that she would be targeted by Cathy.

But William was innocent.

"I don't want to involve anyone else in this, and William is a nice guy, so if it affects him, I will need Cathy to compensate and apologize to him accordingly." Chloe had made sense, so Michael nodded.

Seeing that he had no objections, Chloe was going to get in her car and leave.

"Is William your latest date?"

Chloe stopped gripping the steering wheel.

She thought, "So did he hold back so long today just to ask one last question?"

She took a deep breath. "Mr. Shawn, this has nothing to do with you."

The car was driven away in front of Michael, his hands hanging helplessly at his sides.

He thought, "The man in that picture looks elegant.

It turns out Chloe likes men like that.

He and I are two different types."

Instead of going straight back to Urban Lane, Chloe went to William's restaurant.

William was surprised to see her.

"Ms. Nelson?"

Chloe smiled at him awkwardly, "Mr. Clark, do you have time to talk to me now?"
