Chapter 31
Chapter 31 The Top Lawyer
The little princess who had been pampered by her family since childhood was now being slandered by a group of unrelated people, and just thinking about it was infuriating!
Leah gently held Laura's hand. "Mom, do you really think I'm that fragile? Don't worry. I won't be affected by those slanders. Trust me, okay? I can handle everything." Laura wanted to say something more, but Kaden chimed in,
"Leah has grown up now. If she wants to handle her own business, just let her be. If she can't, we'll step in."
Ethan agreed. "I trust in Leah's ability."
Leah playfully shook Laura's arm. "Mom, just let me handle it myself."
Laura reluctantly agreed. "Alright, since you've put it that way."
"Thank you, Mom." Leah rubbed Laura's arm affectionately, then let go of her hand and walked upstairs.
"Dad, Mom, Ethan, it's alright. Don't worry about me. I'm going to deal with this matter."
Laura nodded. "Okay. But if you can't handle it, you must tell us as soon as possible."
"I get it." Leah turned around and waved her hand.
She headed upstairs to her room. When she thought about what Sharon had done on the internet, the smile on her face disappeared instantly.
Actually, this wasn't the first time that Sharon deliberately made things difficult for her behind her back.
Back then, Leah endured it all silently, swallowing her grievances for the sake of Quentin.
But now, she didn't need to endure it anymore.
Whatever Sharon did to her, she would make Sharon pay a thousand times more.
With these thoughts in mind, Leah sat down at her desk, opened her laptop, and began typing.
She first edited a paragraph: [Slanders can never stain the innocence. I won't explain further. Here's the evidence you want.]
Then, she tagged Sharon's account and posted images of the order Quentin had placed with their
company's designer, as well as an et
video of the hotel where Sharon hosted her birthday party, exposing the entire process of the events.
She pointed out that Sharon, as a public figure, had maliciously manipulated public opinion, causing her physical and psychological harm. Leah accused Sharon of intentional defamation and decided to sue her.
This quickly stirred up heated discussions among netizens and Sharon's fans.
[Now there's a video! Is it possible that Sharon really put that necklace in Leah's bag? But I don't think that's possible I've been a fan of Sharon for so many years, and I believe in her character. I don't think she would do something so malicious. Leah might have edited this video to frame Sharon. She forged fake evidence on purpose!]
[But this video doesn't seem fake at all, and there are no signs of editing.]
[It's absolutely impossible. Our Sharon is so perfect and kind. If she really did something as malicious as framing someone, I'll jump off the bridge right away.]
The discussions among fans and bystanders continued heating up this incident.
Just then, Wilson Group issued an official statement:
[We hired Ms. Leah Wilson as the
CEO of Lia Jewellery because we believe in her character and abilities. All procedures were conducted ethically and legally, withoutNôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

resorting to any unethical tactics. If anyone still questions this matter, we'll have our legal team ready to respond.]
After releasing the evidence, Leah promptly hired Archie Duncan, a top lawyer from one of Ocanni City's renowned law firms.
Archie was known as a top-tier lawyer because he had never lost a case.
He was famous for his eloquence and often left opposing lawyers speechless, making other lawyers avoid taking cases he was involved in.
Inside a café, Leah pushed the menu towards Archie.
"What would you like to drink?"
"An iced coffee will do," Archie said, his warm smile lighting up his face.
"My dear old classmate, how many years has it been since we last saw each other after graduation? I thought you had already left Ocanni City for opportunities abroad."
