Rolling his eyes, Alpha Wade stopped arguing and resumed his work.

Alpha Kilian then walked back to Nelly’s side after ending the call. He smiled at her while she was eating. “How are you feeling? Does your stomach feel better?”

Suddenly, Alpha Kilian leaned closer to her and whispered in her ear, “I shouldn’t have let you drink so much yesterday.”

Nelly blushed slightly but remained silent. Alpha Kilian smiled and sat across from her, gazing at her with adoration.

Silently, Nelly continued eating. When she looked up, she locked eyes with Alpha Kilian, who was staring at her with intense affection.

“Aren’t you going to the office today?” Nelly broke the silence. Alpha Kilian replied, “I am.”

“What time?” Nelly asked.

“Why? Do you want to go?” Alpha Kilian asked, his eyes still fixed on her.

“I want to go to the office too. I was just thinking of hitching a ride with you.”

Noticing her reserved manner, Alpha Kilian narrowed his eyes and pondered for a moment before replying, “Are you ready to go if we leave now?”

Nelly froze for a second. “Sure, but I’ll need to get changed.” Alpha Kilian glanced at the time. “Alright, we’ll leave in half an hour.” Nelly nodded.

When Alpha king Larry and Alpha Wade heard their conversation, they both frowned. “Are you leaving, Nelly?”

“Yes, I need to go to the office. Grandpa, Old Alpha Morris, I’ll pay you two a visit in a few days,” Nelly replied.

Alpha king Larry nodded. “Okay.”

Alpha Wade couldn’t help but remind her again, “Nelly, no matter what, you must take care of yourself. Remember to call me.”

“I will, Grandpa,” Nelly reassured him with a smile.

Though still worried about his granddaughter, Alpha Wade knew that young people needed their own space. “Alright, go ahead,” he said solemnly.

Nelly looked at her grandfather with a conflicted expression but eventually composed herself and nodded. She got up to go change.

Alpha Kilian also glanced at the elderly duo. “I’ll be leaving as well, Grandpa, Old Alpha Jackson.” “Okay, okay, hurry up and leave,” Alpha king Larry said dismissively, waving his hand.

Alpha Kilian was at a loss for words, but he didn’t say anything. He got up and left.

In the car, Alpha Kilian drove while Nelly sat in the front passenger seat.

“Where are the three kids? Why didn’t they come to say goodbye?” Alpha Kilian started a conversation.

“Donna said Thalia was taking them out. They’ve probably gone somewhere,” Nelly replied flatly, her gaze unfocused as she looked out the window.
