Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

The next day, Thalia woke up really early because she was so hungry. She had stayed up late the night before, and now she was starving.

“Oh, it’s almost six. I remember Tony saying that breakfast at the manor is between half past five and seven. I made it in time!”

Thalia got out of bed and went to look for food.

September mornings always smelled so nice and fresh. But as Thalia walked down the path for about ten minutes, she started to realize something.

Hotels are so much better. I can get everything I need without having to go anywhere. Here, it takes forever to go from one place to another. It’s so tiring!

When Thalia finally reached the kitchen, she said no to the housekeeper’s offer to help and grabbed some food for herself.

To her surprise, she had just stepped into the dining room when she saw Alpha Kilian sitting near the window. He was wearing a black shirt with the collar undone and his sleeves rolled up, showing off his smooth, skinny wrists. He looked like a fancy rich person, especially because he had this really regal vibe.

Thalia squinted at him. I have to admit, Alpha Kilian is very unique with his good looks and his behavior. I might even say he’s God’s favorite, but unfortunately…

Just as Thalia was lost in her thoughts, Alpha Kilian looked up and stared at her. She instantly snapped back to reality and walked into the room as casually as she could.

“Good morning!” Thalia said with a half-smile before finding a seat not too far from Alpha Kilian and starting to eat.

Alpha Kilian kept staring at her, and his look got even darker as he slowly ate his food. “You must be tired after taking the three kids out yesterday,” he said.

Thalia stopped walking. He’s talking to me, but I wonder what he really means. One thing’s for sure-he’s not actually worried about me!

After thinking for a moment, Thalia looked up and met Alpha Kilian’s gaze. “Oh, it’s okay. I’m not too tired. The kids were good, and I enjoyed spending time with them.”

Alpha Kilian took a bite of his food gracefully and then turned his attention back to Thalia. “Is that so? Where did you all go, then?”

His question seemed innocent and casual, but Thalia could tell there was suspicion in his eyes.

Thalia suddenly realized something, and a glint appeared in her eyes. “Alpha Morris, is that all you want to know, or is there something else behind your question?”

“I’m just curious,” Alpha Kilian replied, still patient as ever. “You came back home late, so I’m wondering where you could have taken them!”

“I’m just curious,” Alpha Kilian replied, still patient as ever. “You came back home late, so I’m wondering where you could have taken them!”

Thalia narrowed her eyes and sneered to herself. What an annoying man. He acts all elegant and careless, but his questions are always full of doubt and cynicism. Who cares if Alpha Kilian looks good on the outside? Deep down, he’s just mean and unhappy. He’s only asking because he thinks I did something wrong!

Even though Thalia had already made up a story with Tony and the other kids, her rebellious side refused to go along with it. Instead, she looked at Alpha Kilian and smiled. “Why don’t you guess?”

He wasn’t in a hurry as he continued eating calmly, as if he had expected Thalia’s answer.

“Do you know about the gunfight at the jetty yesterday?” he suddenly asked. Thalia pretended to be confused. “Gunfight? What happened?”

What a sneaky person. He asked if I know about it, not if I heard about it. Gosh, talking to Alpha Kilian is like walking on a minefield.

Alpha Kilian raised his head and gave her a look. “As a member of Darknetz, shouldn’t you have already heard about the news?”

“I came to Moonwalk pack to take a break, so why would I snoop around if I’m not on any mission?”

Alpha Kilian simply picked up his glass and took a sip, his expression still calm and peaceful, not showing if he believed Thalia’s words or not.

Since he didn’t say anything, Thalia decided to find a way to leave. But before she could think of an excuse, Alpha Kilian spoke again. “By the way, how did you meet Tony and the other kids?”

Thalia froze.

Oh my goodness! What’s with this guy? Isn’t he done with his questions?

After taking a deep breath, she stared at him and said, “Alpha Morris, why are you asking these random questions so early in the morning? I can’t help but wonder if there’s more to them or if you’re implying something else.”

A small smile appeared on Alpha Kilian’s lips. “What do you think?”

“We’re the only ones having breakfast, so if you keep bombarding me with questions, it might cause some misunderstandings. It might not matter to me, but if Ms. Jackson gets the wrong idea, it’ll be hard for you to explain things to her, Alpha Morris,” Thalia said with a smile, her eyes shining with the same sharpness as her words.

Tony noticed Thalia’s frustration and asked, “Are you mad at me because I look like my dad?”

Thalia narrowed her eyes and scoffed, “What do you think? It’s annoying that you look like Alpha Kilian Morris instead of your mother.”

Tony didn’t know how to respond. Thalia’s personal attacks showed that this was a serious issue.

Tony sat in front of Thalia and asked, “I can’t control how I look. So, what did my dad say to you?”

Seeing Tony’s face, identical to his dad’s, made Thalia lose her rationality.

She couldn’t resist pinching his soft cheeks and found it amusing. She continued pinching them, even though Tony protested, until she finally stopped.

Tony squirmed away and looked at Thalia in disbelief. He said, “Thalia, you-”

“What?” Thalia interrupted, raising her eyebrows.

Tony took a deep breath and said, “Don’t you know that men and women should keep a distance from each other?”

Thalia chuckled and replied, “Oh, please. You’re just a child. If I put in a little more effort, I might have a child as old as you now.” Tony was speechless.

Thalia stated, “It’s your and your dad’s fault for making me angry. Since you look like your dad, you’ll have to face the consequences on his behalf.”

Tony tried to come up with a clever reply and suggested, “How about I address you as Ms. Jacoway in the future?”

Thalia froze and stared at him in astonishment. “What did you just say?”

“Didn’t you say that if I put in more effort, I could have a child as old as you? If that’s the case, it would be disrespectful if I don’t address you as Ms. Jacoway.”

Thalia smirked and threatened, “Sure, you can give it a try if you’re not afraid of me sewing your lips together.”

Tony muttered, “How violent.”

“I can’t treat both you and your dad too kindly. I can only respond with violence,” Thalia commented and continued with her meal.

Just then, the housekeeper brought Tony’s breakfast over. As he ate, he glanced at Thalia and asked, “What did my dad tell you?”

“What else can he talk to me about? He suspects me, of course,” Thalia replied, exasperated.

Tony imagined the situation and put on a smile. “That must’ve been hard for you.”

“It’s not. I deserve it for living under someone else’s roof,” Thalia responded stubbornly. Tony didn’t know what to say.

After thinking for a moment, he suggested, “How about I do something to make it up to you?”

“What can you do?”

“I can help you find Spencer Teal,” Tony said, assessing Thalia’s reaction. She stiffened instantly, showing a hint of pain in her eyes.

Thalia tried to ignore her feelings by keeping herself busy, but as soon as someone mentioned Spencer’s name, everything she had done meant nothing.

She looked down and said, “There’s no need for that.”

“Really?” Tony asked.

“Since he’s purposely hiding from me, he won’t meet me even if you find him.”

“So, you’ve given up?” Tony inquired.

“What do you think? It doesn’t make a difference whether I give up or not,” Thalia responded. Tony studied her.

“This doesn’t sound like something you would say.”

“People change. I’d rather focus on making money than wasting time on a man. I can find as many men as I want in the future,” Thalia said with seriousness. She even gave Tony a small smile.

“Well, I hope you truly believe what you just said.”

“Of course. That’s exactly what I think,” Thalia affirmed.

Noticing Thalia was about to lose her temper, Tony quickly said, “I’m just stating the facts. Don’t get mad at me!”

“You just had to include something to insult me, didn’t you?” Thalia hissed. Tony smiled. “Come on. I’m used to it.”

Thalia scoffed, “Sure, you’re the only one with brains here. You, your daddy, and your entire family are so crafty.”

“Oh, you’re flattering me.”

“Do you really think I’m praising you?” “What else can it be?”

Suddenly, a dagger appeared at Tony’s throat, and Thalia stared at him with her pretty eyes. “No matter how smart you are, you can’t possibly bring your laptop around with you all the time, right? Do you think your brain will be useful in this situation, or will my dagger slit your throat faster than you can think?”

There was a gleeful look on her face. Lowering his gaze, Tony carefully pushed her dagger away. “There you go again. You should stop playing such tricks on people who are on your side.”

Thalia snorted and gently stroked her dagger lovingly. She then looked at him from the corner of her eye. “I’m just telling you, skills are more important when it comes to fulfilling your ambitions.”

“I never disagreed with that.”

“So? When are you planning to return to Darknetz with me?” Thalia eyed him.

Tony pondered for a while and looked back at her. “I’ll speak to Nelly about this in the next few days.” “You’ve decided?” Thalia’s eyes sparkled with joy.

“It’s going to happen sooner or later, anyway. I’d rather get this done and over with as soon as possible.” “Smart!”

“So, you’d better sell those goods and settle your matters soon. We may start anytime.” At the mention of her matters, Thalia lowered her head. “There’s nothing to settle.” Tony arched a brow and said nothing else. Anyway, she knows what she’s doing.

Just then, something popped into Thalia’s mind. “Oh, right! Will you be going when the goods are sold?” “Have you found a buyer?”

“I contacted one last night before I slept. That person will be coming over in two days.” “So soon?”

“What now? Are you complaining?”

“I’m just worried. Though the people of Midnight fang pack are gone, the other gang is still around. If they’re not gone, that means they’re still eyeing the goods. Won’t it be too risky to send off the goods in the next couple of days?”

“Well, there’ll definitely be risks. I mean, what’s not risky, anyway? Since you’ve decided to come back to Darknetz with me, then we’ve got to settle this quickly. There’s nothing more important than this.”This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .

“Well, there’ll definitely be risks. I mean, what’s not risky, anyway? Since you’ve decided to come back to Darknetz with me, then we’ve got to settle this quickly. There’s nothing more important than this.”

Tony knew Thalia’s words made sense.

“I’m not worried about them. I’m worried about Daddy.” “Alpha Kilian Morris?”

“Exactly. He received the news last night and found out the goods have been stolen. I have no idea if he’ll get involved in this matter.”

“That’s simple. We can just avoid him.” “How?”

“Using the old trick, of course.”

Tony looked at her in puzzlement. “You mean…” Thalia nodded.

Tony mulled it over and nodded. “That’s right! That’s a great idea!”

Upon hearing his acknowledgment, Thalia lifted her head proudly. “What do you think? Am I someone with brains now?”

Tony flashed her a smile. “That’s right. One is truly a product of the environment. You’ve gotten smarter after hanging out with me. Looks like hanging out with me wasn’t a waste of time, after all. You have become smarter!”

Thalia was baffled. “There’s something seriously wrong with the Morris family. Not only are you people crafty and foul-mouthed, but you’re also narcissistic.”

“Excuse me. I’m a Jackson. I’m from the Jackson family,” Tony said politely.

“Oh, please, if you’re a Jackson, you should be following Nelly’s example. Don’t you think so?” “Isn’t being smart sufficient to show that I follow in Nelly’s footsteps?”

Thalia did not understand the deeper meaning of his words. Instead, she only wanted to refute, “Just look at the difference between your character and Nelly’s character. Of all people, you just have to resemble Alpha Kilian.”

“Do I have a bad character?”

“Are you seriously asking me that?”

“Thalia, I think you have a misunderstanding about bad character.”
