"I'm Clark, the director of Dream Makers Entertainment Company. If you don't know me, you could think of me as a star scout! I'm not an ordinary scout though. The famous rising star Elaine Benett, award- winning actress Winters Levin, and top model Tracy Rankin were all discovered by me!"

Thinking back to when her arm rubbed against his, Lauren felt goosebumps all over her body. How dare a sleazy guy like him approach her? Did he really think that she was that stupid?

After walking a few steps later, another shady young man approached her with a whistle. "Wow, what a pretty little thing! Hey, which company are you from? Are you new here? You're gorgeous!"

"Come on, have a drink with me! I'll sponsor you as much as you desire!"

The scent of alcohol enveloped the atmosphere. As the man smiled teasingly and tried tugging at her arm, Lauren shied-away. "You've got the wrong person, I'm not interested!"

Her cold voice was as clear as beads falling on a jade plate. Stunned by her attitude and reluctance, the man's eyes were suddenly filled with seriousness.

"Hey, don't go! Let's get to know each other. I am digging the icy attitude you have."

While speaking, the man raised his hand and touched her face. In an instant, Lauren yelled in annoyance, "What are you doing?"

"What do you think I'm doing?"

He deliberately raised and twirled his index finger in front of her face. The man smiled menacingly and dropped his head down. He sniffed her, and then licked his fingertips. "You smell so good! I bet you'd feel even better than you smell."

That remark filled Lauren's face with disgust. She no longer wanted to interact with the man, but he was obviously aroused by her attitude. She couldn't get rid of him even after trying a few times. Lauren grew increasingly anxious, beads of sweat appearing on her forehead.

"What kind of luck do I have today? Why did I get one weirdo after another?" She thought to herself.

Suddenly, the man stretched out his hand to grab Lauren, turning her sideways. Lauren immediately raised her elbow, and lifted her leg, landing it straight towards the man's privates. A second later, a burst of pig-like whine sounded.

"Oh, sh*t. You b*tch, how dare you!"

"Serves you right!"

Lifting her eyelids, Lauren lifted her feet and was about to leave. As she turned around, the man suddenly grabbed her wrist while throwing himself at her, aiming a kiss at her lips.

"Ah! You son of a b*tch!"

Struggling hard to twist her wrist out of his grasp, Lauren stepped aside and pushed him away. Although she managed to avoid the man's frivolous act, his lips still grazed across her cheek.

While the man was leaning over, he ripped and tore off the fabric on one side of her shoulder.

"What a pervert!"

Ruthlessly, Lauren landed her slap across his face. She turned around, and ran away while wiping her cheek, furious. The man behind her was enraged as well, since he did not manage to take advantage of her despite being kicked and slapped. He was in immense pain as he bent downwards and almost collapsed to the floor.
