Chapter 13 She Had to Go through A Dog Hole
Chapter 13 She Had to Go through A Dog Hole
Becca walked out of the house. At the front door stood two security guards, who she knew were asked
by John to guard her. But she believed she will figure out her coping strategy
Bending, she went to the fence. Weak as she was, she moved away the thick grass there, and found a
dog hole that could allow her to go through.
When her mother was alive, she had a Chinese idyllic dog called Coco. This hole was its passageway,
but then Maria took over her family and poisoned the dog.
The hold was gradually forgotten, and overgrown with weeds.
Crawling on the ground, Becca moved out little by little.
Could her coping strategy only be going through the dog hole? She let out a sigh.
A minute later, her head finally poked out of the hole and she breathed the free air. But in front of her
was a pair of men's Martin boots. She was full of doubts.
‘Are the security guards waiting for her here, knowing she has this trick?’ She could not help but
scolded. Without watching directly, she planned silently to retreat.
Kelvin saw the pussycat unexpectedly going back after her trying so hard. Frowning, he bent to hold
her back collar.
"Becca, the way you welcome me is special."
Huh? The voice was a little familiar. Becca looked up, and saw Kelvin's cold face.
"It's you!" She sighed with relief, and quickly crept out of the hole, "I thought it's the one who comes to
block me."
Kelvin loosened his hand, and Becca patted away the dust on her. After climbing, her white skirt and
her face had already been dirty, and her hair had been stained with some grass.
Bill stood by and smiled, turning his eyes elsewhere.
‘Mrs. Lewis is really out of the ordinary. Every time she appears in a so special way.’
"You have such a wide range of hobbies." Kelvin looked at the small hole. ‘She comes through the hole
like this and there must be some injuries on her body. It seems that the dog hole in their future house
would have to be made larger. It’s better to make the edge of the hole softer.’
"It's hard to explain in a few words." Becca did not want to stay there long. Glancing toward the gate,
she unconsciously got on Kelvin’s car.
Bill turned the car around. Kelvin and Becca sat in the back seat.
"Why not answer the phone?" Seeing her sit down, Kelvin began to ask her.
"I'd like to...." Becca replied, looking out of the window for fear that anyone would see, "But you pulled
me into the swimming pool. My phone was in my pocket at that time. It was filled with water."
Kelvin thought it did make sense. He did not say much, but took out a phone from his pocket, and
handed it to her.
"What do you mean?" This phone looked worth a lot of money. Becca moved away, afraid of his taking
advantage of her.
"You take it," Kelvin seemed not to make fun of her, "just as my compensation for you."
Becca could not believe that he gave her his phone. For people today, mobile phones were the most
private things, with many secrets.
"Aren't you afraid I'll find something in your phone? I'll be rich by selling it to the paparazzi." Becca said
with her eyes bright.
"You can do whatever you want." Kelvin did not understand. His custom-made military mobile phone
was unique in the market. Even if it was sold secondhand, she could earn a house, but she just wanted
to sell news to paparazzi to make some money.
Becca unceremoniously took the phone over. When she was to ask the password, a car lighted up.
She glanced, and saw the familiar license plate number. She became nervous.
‘Shit! It's John!’
"Lord, it’s Mr. Garcia." Bill reminded Kelvin.
Becca's body shrank in an instant. It' was too dated, if they saw her went with Kelvin. She did not know
what trouble they would make.
"I know." Kelvin had no expression on his face.
"Go. Go. If they find me, it’s miserable for me!" Becca hastened to pull the cloth of Kelvin.
But things didn't go as she imagined. Albert, who was driving, recognized Bill in the car and stopped.
Bill had worked for Kelvin for years, and he more or less was very familiar to Albert. This road led
directly to the Garcia family’s villa and there was no other place to go there, so...
John and Albert got out of the car, coming straight toward Kelvin's car.

Becca had nowhere to hide, seeing Albert found the car. At this point, Kelvin pressed her head down
on his legs.
