Chapter 305
Chapter 305 Get Elyse To Leave Jayden
Kaelyn pressed her lips tightly together, her breathing heavy. She stared at Theo, her eyes reflecting a blend of sadness and resentment.
Trying to hide the pain tearing at her, she asked in a mournful voice, "Theo, you and Elyse split up. Why does she still matter to you?"Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.
Theo abruptly stood up, creating a more distance between them. His gaze was distant and wary
as he asked sharply, "What are you doing in my house? Who let you in?"
Kaelyn was taken aback, rooted to the spot by his harsh words.
His voice grew colder as he added, "Did you think I was joking when I said I wanted you out of my life?"
Asinister smile curved his lips. "You've sabotaged my relationship with Elyse. I didn't approach you for revenge. But don't be foolish and mistake my lack of actions for forgiveness." I'll make sure you regret ever trying to sabotage my relationship."
A chill washed over Kaelyn as if she'd been plunged into icy water, making her shiver.
She had never seen Theo this detached. He looked at her as if she were mere trash, his eyes empty of anything but disdain.
But why? What had made Theo's love for Elyse so effortless when she hadn't done anything remarkable? Was it really because Elyse had carried Theo on her back through the perilous mudslide that Theo had fallen so deeply in love with her? Kaelyn struggled to understand. She believed she could do the same for Theo, yet he remained unmoved. Why Elyse?
Kaelyn wondered, tears brimming in her eyes, her lips quivering. "! know you hate me, and you believed I'm the reason you and Elyse aren't together. But I love you just as much as she does. Just give me a chance, and I'll prove it!"
Kaelyn extended her hand tentatively, reaching for Theo, but he subtly shifted away, evading her touch.
Her attempt thwarted, Kaelyn's expression turned into a rueful smile. "Do you really despise me that much?"
Theo stayed silent, pulling out his phone to gaze at a photo of Elyse.
He treasured these pictures, snapped covertly by a paparazzo from various angles.
'Aware that Jayden might erase them, Theo had taken care to preserve these precious few snapshots for himself.
These photos were the sole group pictures he possessed from his time spent with Elyse. Theo and Elyse had been together so long that photos of them were rare.
Now, there was nothing left between him and Elyse, except for these pictures that forted his lonely soul.
Night after night, as Theo missed Elyse, he could find solace in these pictures.
Theo's gaze lingered on Elyse in the photo, his eyes softening with tenderness. He then looked at Kaelyn, his expression hardening.
Kaelyn noticed the shift in his demeanor and her face fell.
Theo's voice was icy as he asked, "Do you want me to stop detesting you?"
Yes," Kaelyn responded quickly, her eyes brimming with hope.
"If you can get Elyse to leave Jayden, perhaps I'll think better of you," Theo remarked casually, as though the task was trivial.
Kaelyn's face contorted in frustration. She had worked tirelessly to break up Theo and Elyse. Now, how could she possibly push Elyse to divorce Jayden just to get back with Theo?
Kaelyn's smile grew bitter. "Doesn't it bother you that Elyse is someone else's wife? What about your own mother's feelings?"
Theo's gaze became frosty. "Elyse is the only one for me. No other woman es close, and nobody can stop me from being with her."
Kaelyn's expression turned bleak. She was shocked by the depth of Theo's obsession with Elyse.
Theo's voice was firm as he instructed Kaelyn to leave his house.
Climbing into her car, overe with frustration, she screamed, Kaelyn pounded on the steering wheel, and cursed Elyse.
Once she had vented her anger, she found herself settling into a
calmer state.
Muttering to herself, she said, "Theo, you really want to be with Elyse? And you think you can
manipulate me to push her towards a divorce? Not happening!"
As she started the car, her phone rang. It was Mabel on the other end.
Taking a deep breath to pose herself, Kaelyn answered in a soothing tone, "Mabel, what's going on? Why are you calling?"
Mabel's voice, tinged with anxiety, came through. "Kaelyn, do you think Elyse will discover the evidence of my theft? What if she finds out? Would I be in trouble?"
Kaelyn replied reassuringly, "Absolutely not! Elyse is your sister, after all. Even if she stumbles upon the evidence, she won't harm you. Don't worry about it. She's still your sister, isn't she?"
