Breaking Rules

Chapter 8 (Part 1)

I’m not sure how many times I breathed. I even saw Azi barking while jumping on me. I took him in my arms and placed him on my lap. Even now, I can’t get over what happened.

“Hmm, you’re mine.” He even spoke to me in hushed tones. I simply bit my lower lip and closed my eyes tightly.

“Holy- sex in the living room? Azazel, are you serious?”

Azazel’s eyes widened, but he seemed even more taken aback. He immediately wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. He switched our places. He was now on top of me, and I was almost lying down on the sofa.

“Fuck! Turn around!” He screams at his twins. His voice remained cold.

I can hear Samael laughing. I simply picked up my white blouse, which had been placed on the counter table. I looked at Azazel. Our gazes locked, and I instinctively bit my lower lip. He was staring at me as I buttoned my blouse. He just left me when I put on my shirt. But before turning away from me, he licked his lips. He put his shirt on the side and put it on. I could even see how smoothly his muscles flexed.

I quickly averted my gaze. My mother warned me not to look at anyone’s body unless it was my husband. If Mama was still alive, she might scold me if she found out what am I doing.

“Is it okay now? Can I turn around—”

“Fuck off!” Azazel approached me once more.

I’m still seated on the sofa. My white long skirt was clutched in my hand. I didn’t want to look at him, but I ended up looking. He was staring at me with unknown emotions in his eyes.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

He kissed my lips again, hard, without saying anything. That certainly gives me tingles. I’ve done nothing but surrender.

“Damn it! Azazel, are you freaking serious?” I pushed him immediately when I heard Samael.

I bit my lower lip, and after we kissed, I went home right away. We were all silent as Azazel drove, not even Nazarel and Samael dared to speak. But I can sense Samael’s playful demeanor. Our gazes met several times. And all he does is wink and smirk at me.

So I simply averted my gaze. When we arrived at my apartment, I simply smiled at them. I’m at a loss for words. They seemed to be aware of what had happened. Sure thing, Sera. They just saw you two almost naked on the couch. What do you think they’ll assume?

Two days have passed, and I’m still wondering what happened. I can’t get it out of my head. It was like a broken vinyl record that kept repeating itself in my head. And even though I don’t want to remember, it always visits my mind.

I straightened up and sighed. I still have a job to attend to. Before I left the house, I fed Azi first. I didn’t ride my bike. As its club is only a short walk away. I never get tired of walking, mostly because it relaxed me. From outside, I could already hear the loud music. I noticed someone else smoking outside. The majority of them are customers, of course. Smoking is prohibited inside, except in the VIP room.

I went in and finished the job quickly.

“Didn’t you hear there’s a new bartender?” In the club, I overheard one of our waitresses say. She’s with some of her friends.

“Yes, and take note, handsome and hot.” They laughed. I simply sighed and resumed cleaning the restroom.

Gosh, I couldn’t wait to get this done and sleep.

When I finished, I went outside pretty quickly. But I was taken aback when I ran into a man. And it wasn’t just any ordinary man; it was Nazarel. I looked down at the clothes he was wearing. He’s dressed in our club’s janitor’s uniform. What? What exactly is he doing here? And why is she dressed like that? Okay. What’s going on?

I raised my gaze to his face once more. He’s staring at me like Azazel. The difference was that he was far too cold. Fear made me swallow. When someone spoke, I lost sight of him.

“What, dude? Did you notice a sexy babe here?”

A man wrapped his arm around his shoulders. When I saw who it was, my lips parted; it was Samael who was smiling. He was dressed in a bartender’s uniform. My lips parted as I pondered why they were dressed in such a manner. Do they have a job here? I mean, are they newly hired employees? But how come I don’t know?

Samael looked at me and smiled broadly.

“Hello, Seraphina. Do you also work here?” He took his arm away from Nazarel and approached me. He would have grabbed me if someone hadn’t shoved him and pulled me away from him.

I smelled a familiar man’s perfume. I quickly raised my head to look at the person standing next to me. He isn’t smiling; instead, he is staring at Samael with cold, menacing eyes. When I saw Azazel, I was surprised. But I couldn’t help but frown when I saw what he was wearing. He’s dressed in the club’s waiter uniform. So, they are working here now, huh?

“Oh, punch that asshole, Nazarel, he pushed me. I was aggrieved with him.” Samael spoke to Nazarel as if he were a child. But Nazarel didn’t even glance at him; he was just staring at me intently. I shuddered at the intensity of his stare. He’s looking at me as if I’m a foe. I feel a strange absurdity in the way he looks.

Azazel’s grip on my wrist tightened. When I looked at him, I noticed him clenching his jaw repeatedly. He concealed me behind his back. Still holding on tight to me. The way he looked at his twin made me feel scared. He appears to be so angry.

“Will you stop staring at her like that, Nazarel?” As soon as I heard him, I swallowed. He sounds extremely dangerous.
