Chapter 22 Lick Them Clean

Outside the room, Blanche patted her chest, feeling a cold chill on her spine.

Reality yanked her back, and she hurriedly pulled off her stained mask, replacing it with a new one from her bag.

She approached the door of the last private room and pushed it open. An unpleasant smell wafted out and made her frown.

This private room was very different from the previous spacious and bright tea room.

It was dimly lit and appeared to be a singing room.

Inside, she heard Erin's pleas.

"Mr. Churchill, I really didn't mean to spill the wine. Please forgive me and let me go."

"Let you go? Nice try! You stained my shoes, and you should lick them clean."

The speaker was named Zach Churchill, a notorious playboy in Cloud City.

"What happened?" Blanche was relieved to hear Erin's voice. No matter what, she had found Erin. She hurried over and grabbed Erin.

Erin's face was swollen, and her palms were cold. Feeling distressed, Blanche knew that the man had hit her.

Erin's eyes were moist.

"I came in to clean when I accidentally spilled wine on Mr. Churchill's boots. Coincidentally, a drunk man next to us vomited on his shoes. Mr. Churchill insisted that it was my fault and demanded that I lick his shoes..."

Erin was too aggrieved to continue. She had only accidentally spilled the wine, and the vomit on her shoes wasn't hers. How could Zach ask her to lick his boots?

Blanche narrowed her eyes and glanced at the sofa where a drunk man lay. It must have been him who had vomited on Zach's shoes.

Her eyes moved down to the ground where she saw a phone broken in half.

It was Erin's phone. When Erin was calling her, Zach snatched the phone and crushed it under his foot.

Relentless, Zach held Erin's shoulders down, trying to force her to lick his boots.

"Cut the crap and do it."

Blanche ripped away Zach's hand and snapped, "What are you doing? Let her go."

Zach shook his hand in annoyance.

"Wow, the new girl is short-tempered."

"And look, she's wearing a mask. So mysterious. Maybe she's a beauty."

A man reeking of alcohol stumbled forward and tried to pull off Blanche's mask. Blanche stepped back in disgust, pulling Erin with her. This is from NôvelDrama.Org.

Blanche glanced at Zach, who had a stout figure and a greasy face. At a glance, she could tell he wasn't a good person.

"Mr. Churchill, right? I'll buy your shoes. Let us go," Blanche said, taking out all the money she had in her bag.

"Oh, showing off your wealth, are you? But I'm not short of money. I want her to lick my shoes clean today."

"If you hadn't deliberately tripped me, the wine wouldn't have spilled. Why do you have to insult me like this? You slapped me. Isn't that enough?" Erin glared at the unreasonable man, her teeth chattering.

"Damn thing, how dare you glare at me! You two, come here and fill her with wine. I'll teach her a lesson today." Zach was enraged by Erin's words.

Two bodyguards came forward and pulled Erin away from Blanche's side. They took a bottle of wine and started pouring it into Erin's mouth.

Blanche's heart raced. These people were simply bullies. She rushed over, knocked the wine off, and threw the money on the coffee table.

"Take the money and stop causing trouble. I'm taking her away."

Blanche led Erin to leave, but the two bodyguards blocked their way.

Zach clapped his hands.

"You've got guts, woman. Even though you're wearing a mask and I can't tell who you are, you've got quite a temperament. Well, I'll let your friend go."

Blanche looked at the sly smile on his face and doubted it.

"Do you mean it? If so, tell your men to back off."

Zach smirked.

"No, I mean I'll spare your friend. You will stay and drink all the wine."

Blanche's heart sank as she looked at the table full of wine glasses. There was no way she could finish them. In fact, she was known for getting drunk with just one glass.

Erin shook her head as she knew Blanche couldn't handle her alcohol. She hadn't wanted to call Blanche in the first place, but she had been too scared.

"No, she can't drink. Come at me, not my friend."

Slap.

Erin was slapped again in the face.

"Shut the fuck up! You failed to appreciate it when I asked you to lick my boots. I'm merciful enough to let you go. Are you taking me for a saint who is kind to everyone?"
