Comeback Of The Adored Heiress

Chapter 1130

Chapter 1130:

Howard’s long lashes fluttered in frustration as he stepped away from the living room, dialing Milly’s number.

“Babe, I’m not happy…”

Milly had just finished an interview when she saw Howard’s name flash on her phone. She answered immediately.

“Howard?” Milly heard the discontent in Howard’s voice.

“What’s wrong?” she asked, concern lacing her words.

Howard, holding the phone, was unsure how to put his feelings into words. He knew he was being irrational—Milly was busy with work, and here he was, sulking. He couldn’t expect her to manage his emotions too.

He answered, “Just hearing your voice makes everything better. Are you done with work? Should I pick you up?”

Milly, sensing Howard’s mood hadn’t fully lifted, replied, “I’m done with work. I’m heading to the parking lot now. I’ll be home soon.” As she drove down the street, Milly spotted a beautiful flower shop ahead.

She remembered what a director had said during filming—flowers could brighten someone’s day when they were feeling low. She wasn’t sure if it would work on Howard, but she decided to give it a shot.

Milly parked the car, threw on a mask and hat, and walked into the shop.

The shop owner greeted her warmly.

“Welcome! What kind of flowers are you looking for?”

It was Milly’s first time in a flower shop. Glancing around, unsure of what to choose, she looked up at the owner and asked, “I want to buy flowers for someone who’s feeling down. Do you have any suggestions?”

Her genuine curiosity shone in her eyes, and the shop owner was caught off guard. For a moment, she just stared, speechless.

There was something so pure in Milly’s eyes.

Milly quickly realized she probably should’ve worn sunglasses and repeated her request.

The owner snapped out of her daze and suggested, “If you’re buying flowers for someone who’s upset, you could go for lilies, sunflowers, or even white lychee roses…”

“I’ll take the white lychee roses, please,” Milly said softly.

“Of course, Miss. I’ll wrap them up for you,” the shop owner replied with a smile.

After Milly paid and left, the shop owner stood by the door, watching her get into her car. Something about her felt familiar, but she couldn’t quite place it. Shrugging, she returned inside to tidy up the counter. Feeling a bit tired, she decided to take a break and scrolled through her phone, stopping on an interview with her favorite actress. Her eyes widened. The actress in the video was wearing the exact same outfit as the customer who had just left.

“Wait… could it be…” She shot up from her seat, her voice breaking into an excited shout.

“Oh my God! That was Milly! Milly came to my shop to buy flowers!”

The realization hit her like a bolt of lightning—she had just served Milly! Excited yet regretful, she hurriedly opened Milly’s fan community forum and made a post.noveldrama
