Don’t Fall for the Billionaire Lover

Chapter 1108

"Even when I was ten, I had a crush on you."

Chloe pushed herself up, slender arms braced on the sides of the wheelchair, and leaned in, pressing her lips to Connor's without hesitation.

Connor wrapped his arms around her and pulled her onto his lap.

Their kiss was slow and deep, full of warmth and longing.

As they lingered close, Chloe's voice dropped to a teasing whisper. “Tonight's just

us. Feels like forever since we had the place to ourselves."noveldrama

Connor's ears turned bright red. "But... I can't move..."

He'd spent so long focusing on rehab and recovery that intimacy had been out of the question for months.

But that kiss-Chloe could feel it he was already undone.

She shot him a mischievous look, glancing down. "The only thing you can't move right now is your legs, not your—"

Connor cut her off, mortified. "Chloe! Aren't you embarrassed?"

"We're practically an old married couple. What's there to be shy about?"

Chloe knew what was on his mind.

In bed, Connor had always been the one in control, always finding ways to make her happy.

She leaned in, lips brushing his ear. "You're always spoiling me. Tonight, let me take care of you, okay?"

Connor's cheeks were on fire.

He'd been in a coma for a year. His legs barely worked. He was terrified she'd be disappointed.

But looking at Chloe's beautiful, playful face, he gritted his teeth. "I don't want to."

"Really?" Chloe rolled her hips just a little, teasing him.

"...No." Connor's brows furrowed, his voice less sure.

"Fine, then."

Chloe stood up, quick and decisive. "I'll just go to bed, then. Good night."

But before she could take a step, Connor grabbed her arm.

He pulled her right back onto his lap.

"Chloe, is that seriously how little patience you have when you're teasing me?"

Letting her go now would be torture.

Chloe tilted her head back and laughed, bright and carefree.

Connor caught sight of her smooth, swan-like neck and just had to press a kiss to her skin...

Chloe had started this just to tease Connor.

She didn't expect to end up outsmarted by her own game.

Afterward, drained and out of breath, Chloe fell asleep right there in the wheelchair.

Once that door opened, Connor turned out to be completely shameless- absolutely unstoppable.

For two whole days-almost forty-eight hours-Chloe barely left their suite at Greenpeace Estate.

She lost all track of time, day and night blurring together, wrapped up in Connor.

By evening, a wash of sunset streamed in through the giant windows.

Chloe lay sprawled across Connor's bare chest, tracing circles with her finger as she recited softly, "Too weak to move, melting in your arms, sweat shining like pearls, ha a wild mess..."

Connor caught her hand, grinning. "My wife's a poet. All I can say is... how about one more round?"

At that, Chloe almost bolted off the bed.

No way. She was done.

"I just remembered—I have work to do. I'll be in the study."

Honestly, after two days in bed, she really had neglected some work.

It didn't take long.

She checked the clock-it was only eight.

Way too early to go back to the bedroom.

Restless, Chloe wandered over to the bookshelf, looking for something—anything
