Drunk and Daring I Kissed a Tycoon

Chapter 302

After all, the marks on Vespera's body were solid evidence. Seeing that Vespera didn't want to admit it, Rebecca couldn't do anything. Vespera had always been this way. If she didn't want to tell one something, no matter what one did, she wouldn't speak.

...

Vespera came out of Rebecca's apartment. Because she'd had some drinks, she couldn't drive. She walked out to hail a cab, and as she stood waiting, the streetlights blurred her vision.

Clutching her phone, she sighed and blurted out. "You're still here."

She turned around, and just as she expected, it was Dominic.

He said gently, "You've got terrible eyesight. How could I let you go home alone?"

Vespera was at a loss for words.

"Come on. I'll hold your hand so that you don't trip," said Dominic seriously, extending his hand to her.

Vespera stood there for a while, then silently placed her hand in his.

Dominic led Vespera forward with her hand in his. At first, they were just holding hands. Gradually, their fingers intertwined. The way his fingers brushed against hers sent a sweet and tingling sensation through her. The cool night breeze only made her more intoxicated.

The two walked for some time, but soon, Vespera's legs began to ache, and exhaustion caught up with her. She couldn't help but ask, "Are we walking home?"noveldrama

Dominic glanced down at Vespera. As if something had just occurred to him, he stopped and gave Calvert a call.

After getting into the car, Dominic said, "Raise the partition."

"There's no need!" Vespera shouted.

Nonetheless, it was useless. With Dominic around, Calvert only took orders from him. The partition went up, and the backseat turned into a private space.

Vespera felt numb. Was Dominic planning to do it again? In the car this time?

No way. That would be too much. Her entire body was still sore. She couldn't let this become a regular thing. So, she shifted to the side.

"What's the matter? Is it too warm?"

Dominic leaned in and touched Vespera's forehead, but instead of pulling his hand away, he let it trail down to her eyes. "Vera, care to explain how you have

anisometropia?"

Vespera turned her face away. "Sit properly. You're too close."

Without warning, Dominic pulled her onto his lap. "Is this better?"

Vespera bit her lip, rendered speechless. She didn't move or respond.

"You should lean on me and take a nap. I'll wake you when we're home." Dominic pressed her head to his shoulder and rubbed her waist with his other hand. His touch was firm but soothing, easing the soreness in her waist.

Vespera's stiff body gradually relaxed. Although her mind kept warning her not to fall asleep on him, his touch was too comforting, and he smelled good.

Before she knew it, she had fallen asleep. When she woke up, they were already

in the garage. The car had probably been there for a while, as it was already 12:30 am.

"I'm sorry. I was just really tired." Vespera yawned.

"No, I'm the one who should apologize. I shouldn't have kept you up last night," responded Dominic.

Vespera was silent for a few

seconds. Then, she blushed and got

out of the car. Dominic got out of

the car as well. As it was cold in t

garage, he took off his jacke and

draped it over her shoulders.

The two entered the building together. Just as they entered the lobby, they saw

two people standing by the elevator.
