Dumping Him for His Uncle (Natasha and Zachary)

Chapter 95

Natasha felt a little uneasy about Yancy's request. She hadn't had many interactions with Quentin and didn't really know what kind of person he was.

"You don't need to stress over it. Just let Mr. Anderson know about it. Whatever he decides is completely up to him," Yancy said.

Natasha gave a nod. The request wasn't unreasonable. After all, not having to attend classes freed up a lot of her time.

She went on to confirm a few minor details with Yancy. By the time she snapped back to reality, Zachary was nowhere to be seen.

"Alright, it's getting late. Don't forget what I asked you about just now," Yancy reminded her once more.

Natasha smiled and nodded.

She had just slipped a few documents into her backpack. When she looked up, she noticed Zachary sitting on a bench outside.

"Mr. Foster, were you waiting for me?"

Natasha walked over with a smile. It was as if none of the earlier tension ever happened.

Zachary was slightly surprised by how composed she was. Then, he laughed and replied, "Of course. I doubt anyone other than Ms. Bradley could keep me waiting this long."

"Oh, what an honor," Natasha replied playfully with a laugh. She started walking, and Zachary jogged a few steps to walk beside her.

The two of them got caught up in conversation. They were completely unaware that Nicole had just passed by.

Nicole had only just arrived on campus, but the gossip about Zachary and Natasha had already spread like wildfire.

The university was filled with people who loved to gossip. So within minutes, rumors had spread everywhere.

Nicole felt completely ignored. She stomped her foot and turned to leave. By then, Natasha and Zachary were already long gone.

However, Nicole wasn't here to stir up trouble. She had business to take care of today.

Nicole stepped into Yancy's office in her high heels. Then, she tossed a document onto his desk.

"Sign this for me," she demanded, sitting down and haughtily crossing her legs. Yancy had heard about Nicole a long time ago. "I can't sign it. Your thesis score didn't meet the requirements. Take it back," he replied firmly.

At an academic seminar, Nicole found out that Natasha was going to pursue her PhD here. The news alone had nearly eaten Nicole alive with jealousy.

Ever since Nicole got off the cruise ship, she had been busy pulling strings. She tried to make connections wherever she could. And now, she finally found a way to become a PhD student like Natasha.

However, the documents required and the academic qualifications needed were extremely strict.

The only reason Nicole had gotten as far as Yancy's office was because she had relentlessly pressured the previous department heads into signing their approval.

"The rest have already signed it. Why won't you? Did Natasha say something to you?" she snapped.

Nicole leaned over the desk like a madwoman and fired questions at Yancy without a pause.

Yancy hadn't expected her to push things this far. Nicole looked like she was ready to bite. Yancy honestly felt like he would need a round of vaccinations if she actually did.

"Based on the entry requirements, your grades don't meet the standard. Follow the proper procedure," Yancy said with a firm tone.

Seeing that Yancy wasn't budging, Nicole didn't argue. She picked up the document and left the office.noveldrama

Yancy breathed a sigh of relief and immediately notified security at the administrative building.

"Want me to drive you home?" Zachary offered, holding the car door open.

It would be rude for Natasha to turn him now. So, she walked over to him and casually shut the car door.

"Mr. Foster, you're a businessman. There's no need to beat around the bush. You've done a lot for me. If there's anything I can do in return, I won't say no," she promised.

Natasha straightened up and met Zachary's gaze with unwavering eyes.
