Chapter 56: Not a Scum
Chapter 56: Not a Scum
They did not know how long they talked, and Cathy did not always stare at them. Occasionally, she looked out of the window. Her eyes were vague and she did not know what she was thinking.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
A long time later, she was patted on her shoulder. She suddenly looked back and saw Karen standing beside her. Her expression was a little more gentle than before.
"Good news?" Needless to say, Cathy guessed something.
Karen seldom showed a little embarrassment, pulled her lip, sat down, took her arm and said softly, "He said he didn't know how I felt, but he didn't want to see me sad. He said he would be responsible. And he would like me to be his girlfriend."
"
Cathy was shocked for a few seconds and suddenly did not know what to say.
How did I feel I met the second Tyrone Raman?
If you didn't love, you didn't love. What was the fucking be responsible? Could manners serve as food or heal wounds?
Didn't want to make her sad, Cathy still did not say, just smiling to comfort, "It seems that Mr. Bacon is not scum, but also a man."
"Oh god, it's useless, he just talked bullshit for half a day." Karen directly said what Cathy dared not say, with some mockery in her eyes.
Cathy pulled her lips awkwardly. "How did you answer that?" Promise him?"
Karen sat up, looked at her, and said softly, "I said that we should all calm down for a few days, so we should not see each other again during this period."
"How did he react?"
Karen shrugged, unable to see whether she was disappointed or happy. "He didn't respond very much. He was silent for half a day before he choked out a good word. It was fucking indecisive." Cathy looked at her for a few seconds and smiled, "What if you're not ready for it? It is also possible that he is testing you, not showing his attitude, just to see who can't hold on first.
"Damn it!" Karen muttered a low curse of hatred and gritted her teeth. "It's really an evil man with a kind face."
Cathy despised, "Then you still love him."

Seeing that she was in a good mood, Cathy accompanied her for a meal and then drove her back.
On weekends, Cathy seldom had time to work overtime, and the weather was good. She helped her mother to clean up her house at home.
As the withered flowers in the vase were being poured out, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Cathy's mother shouted at her from the balcony, "Cathy, open the door."
"OK."
Cathy was guessing who would come to visit the door early in the morning. When she opened the door, a child pounced on her.
After a pause, she looked at the small face of Mila. She was glad and said, "Mila."
Matt pulled Mila back nervously and scolded, "Next time you can't rush over like this, you'll hurt your aunt." Explaining pregnancy is estimated that she can not understand, Matt can only change one way of saying.
Mila looked at Cathy guilty, then naively nodded her head.
Cathy laughed pointlessly and opened the door. "Brother, it's all right. Come in quickly."
The man nodded, with a gift in his hand, and then handed her a handful of roses in his arms, "Here you are."
Cathy was stunned and looked at the bright red bouquet of roses in front of him. He was at a loss for a second. Then she took it over and smiled stiffly. "Thank you, brother. Don't be so polite next time." "Who is it? Ah!"
Cathy mother's scream suddenly came from the balcony.
"Mom!" Cathy changed her face, put down the flowers and walked towards the balcony very quickly.
Steady-footed, Matt rushed to the balcony two steps, saw Cathy's mother fell down, startled, "Aunt!"
"Mom"
Cathy turned white and bent over to help her. She asked in a panic, "How are you doing? Are you OK? Did you hurt?"
Her mother was pale and frightened. She stood up slowly from the ground. Suddenly she gave a sigh of pain and said, "Ouch, it hurts!"
Cathy was so frightened that she fell out of her mind. She squatted down to check, "Where does it hurt?"
"Sit down first!" Matt was still, he pulled over a chair beside her, supported her and sat down, then squatted down to check with Cathy.
He gently pinched her leg and Cathy's mother gasped. "Yes, that's it."
Matt pinched her elsewhere and asked, "Is there any pain in other places?"
"No, it's just legs. I guess I did not step steadily on the stool just now. I sprained it." Cathy's mother said in embarrassment.
Cathy twisted her eyebrows with self-reproach. "It's all my fault. You should have opened the door just now."
Matt was amused. "Then, as you say, I should be blamed for my untimely arrival."
Then he stood up and said, "I guess her leg is sprained. Let me take my aunt to the hospital for a check."
"Well, I'll be with you."
Cathy did not have time to think so much. She also stood up, took her bag and cell phone, and her clothes were not changed. She took Mila with her. They went to the hospital together.
It was the high-level private hospital.
Not that Cathy wanted to go, but that she had a VIP there and spent so much money, and there were not many people, so she didn't have to wait in line for so long.
Cathy's mother was given a set of general examinations. Fortunately, she just hurt her leg and needed to had a few days' rest.
Cathy finally put her heart down and sat in the ward and accompany her all the time.
Matt came in with the list and smiled gently at her. "The doctor said that if you don't want to be hospitalized, you can go back tomorrow. However, I still suggest that my aunt stay here for two more days, because nobody could look after her at home. Cathy has to work, she may not rest assured."
Cathy's mother immediately shook her head. "It's all right. No matter home or hospital, I lie in bed. I don't have to spend money if I go home."
Cathy frowned."That's not possible. There's nobody at home. You have a good rest, I'll go through the formalities of hospitalization."
Covering her quilt, Cathy completely ignored her resistance and pulled Matt out of the ward together.
In the corridor of the hospital, she turned her head to the man holding the child and smiled guilty. "I'm sorry, brother, I should have invited you to have a good meal, but I didn't expect such an accident. I'm so sorry."
Matt looked at her deeply. For a while, he felt helpless. "Cathy, can you not be so polite to me? Fortunately, I am here. How would you take my aunt to the hospital alone?"
Cathy was a little unnatural. "Thank you, brother."
Matt's eyes were soft, looking forward, walking slowly, self-ridiculed: "I wish you could have more places to need me, so I can have the opportunity to perform, otherwise, I really don't know how to increase the sense of existence in front of you."
แ
......
Cathy was even more embarrassed. She even felt her ears in a confused way and quickly thought about the words in her mind, "That... Brother, what I said before..."
