Falling for my Ex-Fiancee’s Best friend

No panties?

“Demelza, please try to listen to me. You can go live with a man just like that.” Throws tried to let her see she is making a bad decision but she doesn’t want to hear it.

“I’m an adult dad, you should stop trying to force me because I know what I want okay? I don’t want us to fight over so please let me.” Demelza pleaded and Thorpes clicked his tongue in frustration.

“So you really wanna do this?” He asks her for the last time.

“Yes Dad, this is what I want. I promise I’ll be fine okay? I’m not a child anymore and I swear I’ll be fine. I’ll always check on you I promise.” Demelza assured them with teary eyes.

“If you say so. Come here.” Her dad finally agreed and pulled her into a warm hug.

“I love you, okay?” She said to him,

“I love you too cupcake.” He responded.

Demelza turned to the side and noticed Harriet’s facial expression. She wasn’t happy about it and she didn’t want to say anything.

“Hey, don’t feel bad. I promise I’ll be fine okay.” Demelza assured her and hugged her.

Demelza went up to pick the stuff she needed and came back down. She hugged them again and promised to see them every weekend.

Having said that, she bid them goodbye and left the house.

“How did it go?”

“As expected, they didn’t take it well but they let me go eventually,” Demelza responded with a smile on her face.

“So I have you now?” He asked again, feeling excited with the idea that he would wake up to her every morning.

“Yes, you have me.” She responded.

“So, how about dinner? I want to take you out for dinner. Demelza, will you go to dinner with me?”

Demelza could feel her cheek already burning and turning red from blushing so hard. Did Nathan just ask her out on a date? She couldn’t believe her ears. It felt like she was dreaming.

“Demelza,” Nathan called out, bringing her back to reality. She seemed to be lost in another world.

“Oh, I’m sorry.” She apologized. “Yes, I’ll have dinner with you.” Demelza finally responded and Nathan hugged her tightly. He felt happy that she agreed and Demelza on the other hand felt very excited that Nathan was finally treating her the right way. She cannot wait to put Hampton to shame.

“So here’s the thing, we won’t go home now alright, I’ll take us to a 5 star hotel and we Will spend two nights there. Tonight and tomorrow, I want to have you all to myself alright. I will book a different room for you today so that you can prepare for our date and then I’ll have the driver pick you up whenever you are ready. Cool?”

“Yeah, cool.” Happiness fished over Demelza as she thought she was dreaming. Her wishes finally came to pass and it felt super good. The look on Hampton’s face when he finds out about them is what she pictured in her head.

Nathan drove to the hotel and he booked the rooms just like he said he would. He told her everything she needed to prepare for the date will be made available for her. He pecked her on the forehead and watched her get into her room before heading to his.

It was finally evening and the hairstylist and make-up artist Nathan had sent to Demelza’s room had all arrived already.

While they glam her up, the fashion designer Nathan sent kept arriving with different dinner gowns that Demelza would make a pick from.

She felt quite special as Nathan had made sure to arrange a very special evening for the both of them.NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.

As she sat on the chair, her hair was expertly styled into elegant curls while the make-up artist applied alluring touches to her face to enhance her beauty. Demelza is naturally beautiful and she had requested that her makeup be very light.

When they were both done, the seamstress helped her slip into her silk dinner gown that she had earlier chosen. She decided to go for a gown with a deep sapphire hue to give her so much elegance.

She needed Nathan to drool when he set his eyes on her. The seamstress helped adjust the gown carefully so as not to cause any damage.

With everything all set, she finally slipped into her heels as the final touch of her elegance.

With a confident smile resting on her lips, she stood up and picked up the pearl purse she had chosen to go with her gown.

She walked to the standing mirror to have a look at herself and she almost teared up from disbelief.

Demelza arrived at the car quickly by taking the elevator. As she walked towards the car, she noticed that people around her were staring and admiring her. Although she felt a bit shy, she enjoyed the attention as it made her feel exceptionally pretty.

Soon, they drove to a restaurant, and Demelza had no idea about its location. However, she trusted Nathan to pick a nice one. After a drive of less than thirty minutes, they arrived at the restaurant and Demelza stepped out of the car. She stood still for a brief moment, trying to decide which way to go. Suddenly, her gaze fell on Nathan, who stood out from the crowd.

He smiled immediately upon seeing her, and walked over to offer her his hand. They walked hand in hand into the hotel, and she noticed the respect he received as they made their way in.

The restaurant had a unique ambiance, with soft candlelight decorations casting a warm glow over the opulent decor.

“Here’s your table, sir and miss,” the waitress said, directing them to it.

Nathan had made sure to reserve a private table nestled in a cozy alcove. Demelza couldn’t help but think that he must have spent a fortune to secure the whole VIP section for themselves.

As they sipped on fine champagne, their laughter mixed with the background opera music, filling the air at intervals.

As the evening unfolded, Nathan took a deep breath and grasped Demelza’s hand, creating an instant connection and bond between them.

Demelza’s heart pounded as she wondered what Nathan wanted to say.

“I don’t know exactly what I want to say, but what I do know is that I want you to be mine. I want to love you, treat you right, and always be there for you. I want to be your man and have a real relationship with you,” Nathan said, pausing when he realized he was talking too much. “Demelza, will you be my girlfriend?”

Demelza was taken aback by the sudden confession. She wondered whether Nathan was sure about his feelings or if he was acting on impulse. She also wondered how a billionaire would want to be with someone like her, who had no social status. She had always longed for this kind of love, but now that it was within her reach, she felt nervous.

“Nathan, are you sure about this? Are you saying that you want to be exclusive with me? I mean, look at you and look at me. Is it just about this fancy dress? Once I take it off, I’ll just be a regular girl,” Demelza said, feeling frustrated.

“Hey, calm down. I know what I want, and I want you exclusively. I want you to be mine,” Nathan reassured her when he noticed the doubt on her face.

“But what will people say? We’re not a good fit. You’re a billionaire, and I’m just your secretary. One day, you’ll see that I’m not the one for you,” Demelza said, tears welling up in her eyes.

“Don’t worry about what people say. I want you, and that’s all that matters,” Nathan replied calmly.

“But are you ready for the office gossip?” Demelza asked, wanting to know his stance.

“The question is, are you ready?” Nathan countered.

“No,” Demelza said, shaking her head.

“That’s okay. We’ll take it slow, okay?” Nathan said as he wiped away her tears.

“Fine then, I will be your girlfriend.” Demelza accepted with a smile on her face.

“That’s my girl,” Nathan exclaimed excitedly.

He asked her out without taking deep thoughts about it, he just wanted her all for himself. He hated how he felt when he was not around her. He wanted her to be within his reach and he didn’t want to give room to any competition.

With that, they both had more glasses of champagne and they laughed through the night.

“Let’s go home,” Nathan blurted slightly drunk.

“Yes We should.” Demelza responded and they both stood up and walked to the car.

They chuckled as they walked feeling really elated about the wonderful day they had.

Immediately they got into the car Nathan asked that the partition be wined up.

He turned to Demelza immediately the partition was up and he placed a deep kiss on her lips.

“I’ve been dying to do this all night.”

“Then why didn’t you?” Demelza asked him.

“I wanted it to be this intense and feel the blood flow in your body.” Immediately he said that, he slipped his hand in-between her thighs and traced her panties but he didn’t find any.

“No panties?” He asked her with a smile.
