ANITA'S POV

My body was on fire. I kept on moaning loudly as he continued pleasuring me with his tongue but things came to a sudden stop when we heard a loud bang at the back of my car. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"No, I am scared to death," I said as I started dressing up. Someone had followed us here and he wanted to attack us.

It must be Alpha Lewis, he wanted me dead.

"I am going to get to the bottom of this, don't be scared when I am around," He said but that was easier said than done.

"He wanted me dead, he has come to kill me." I cried as I continued wearing my clothes.

"Who?" He asked.

"Find out who attacked us. Please do," I begged. I was on the verge of tears at this point in time.

"You are right, I need to find out who did this and tackle them. But please this matter is not over, you have to tell me who wanted you dead," He said.

"It's okay, "I nodded. My hands were shaking, I was trembling. That bang could wake up a dead person, it was so loud.

I watched helplessly as Alpha Robin went to the back of the car and disappeared. After he left us when I realised that I was all alone now and someone might actually attack me.

I felt helpless, I wished that he had trained me to fight. If he had then I would be out there fighting with him, I would not be here trembling and scared to death.

I was crossing my fingers and hoping when suddenly one of the men threw a fist at the window and grabbed my neck.

I screamed in horror before he finally managed to start struggling with me. I was in so much pain. I struggled for my life, I didn't want to die yet, not before I explored love with Alpha Robin and not before I avenged my sister's death.

I couldn't scream anymore, my windpipe was squeezed so much. The pain was agonising. I closed my eyes shut. The end was near.

With one final intention, I called for Aloha Robin and waited to die and when I heard a neck snapping before I felt a sigh of relief, I was able to breathe all over again.

"I am so sorry baby. I shouldn't have gone away," He apologised as he lost my clothing, made me lie down to ensure that I was breathing just fine and that he was not too late to save my life.

I wished that I could talk to him and tell him that I could hear him, I just couldn't talk but that was impossible. I had to listen and watch him get in panic mode because of the fear of losing me. Once again, this moment proved to me that he was actually madly in love with me.

I was getting exhausted, fighting for my life took a lot of energy from me. It wasn't long before suddenly everything turned black.

If she doesn't make it then I was never going to forgive myself. I should have listened to Harry and loved her deeply the way that she deserved to be loved.

I couldn't take it, the anxiety was eating me up.

" Why did you tell Anita about us?" I asked her.

"She was messing with me. She thought that you loved her but I had to tell her the truth that I am the one that you desire the most," She said with a small victorious smile playing on her face. "Are you fucking serious!" I hissed.

"Are you mad that I told her? If so? Why?" Lola asked.

"Don't tell me that you care about that bitch!" She warned.

"Leave her alone and mind your own business. Whatever we had is over. Do you hear me?" I told her.

I was about to torture myself for my mistakes by going to run till I get exhausted when the nurse come to me.

"She is asking for you. She is awake now" The nurse said and I had to forget all my problems and smile.

I had my own share of baggage and I was going to deal with them at my own time. Right now all my focus should be on her.

I followed the nurse and there she was, lying on the hospital bed. She was so beautiful despite her being in such a hopeless spot. "Babe," She called me.

"Yes," I said, inching closer to kiss her on the forehead.

"Where were you?" She asked and I knew that I should use this opportunity to tell her the truth.
