The sales associate's eyes lit up at once.

"You've got excellent taste. But the men's brooch from the Dreamscape Collection is one of our top-tier pieces..."

"Serena, you really have some nerve to ask for it. Carolyn is a master in the

industry, and every piece she designs starts with a million-dollar purchase

requirement. Do you think you can just come in here with an empty wallet and buy one off the shelf? Stop pretending you can afford it."

Sarah's mocking voice sounded from behind.

Serena and the sales associate turned to look.

She was picking out a few pieces of jewelry. "Pack them all up, and bring me the most exclusive bag!"

Another sales associate hurried off to get it for her.

Serena raised a brow at the ugly little accessories Sarah had picked and frowned.

"Even if you're just trying to meet the purchase requirement, there's no need to spend like an upstart."

"So what if I do?"

Sarah sneered and arrogantly pulled out a gold card from her pocket. She handed it directly to the associate beside Serena.

"Cole has given this card to me. It could probably buy out this whole boutique. So why are you wasting your time on this loser Serena? Come serve me, the real VVIP customer."

The sales associate looked at Sarah's extravagant display of spending with disdain.

She then glanced at Serena, who was quietly standing aside but clearly had impeccable taste.

She offered an apologetic smile and said, "I'm sorry, Miss. Every client is matched with their own sales associate when they enter. I'm currently assisting this guest. Perhaps another team member can help you?"

Sarah's eyes narrowed.

How dared a sales associate refuse her in front of Serena? It could hurt her reputation!

Fury surged within Sarah as she snapped, "I'm the fiancée of Cole Larson from the Larson family! Do you not see Cole's gold card? Do you still not know who I am? Watch out, I could have you fired with a single order!"

"I'm sorry, but even the Larson Group doesn't just fire people without reason. Let me have one of my colleagues assist you."

The sales associate remained calm

and composed. Salespeople in high-end boutiques had seen all kinds of customers. Loud and entitled customers like Sara were nothing new to her.

Serena couldn't help but laugh softly.

She had to admit that Nebula Design's staff were impressive. Refusing clients who didn't align with their brand image was part of what made them elite. Knowing how to select their clientele was a skill in itself.

Sarah heard Serena's chuckle and instantly assumed Serena was mocking her.

Fuming, she flopped onto a couch, leg crossed, and tossed the gold card onto the coffee table.

"Bring me the most expensive items in the store! This gold card is supreme, and I can afford whatever I want."

Many eyes turned toward her.

They were all curious about who this extravagant customer was. Nebula Design's most expensive jewelry collections started at tens of millions!

As Sarah basked in the envious gazes of the crowd, the sales associate suddenly spoke.

"I'm sorry, but your gold card doesn't have permission to purchase from the Serendipity collection."

The room fell into a brief silence.

Sarah paused for a second before raising her brow high.

"No permission? This was given to me personally by Cole. He said I could purchase anything..."

The sales associate explained softly, "You may purchase anything else but not the jewelry and timepiece collections. These are typically pre-ordered or bought by designer's recognized clients or collectors. They're not available through standard purchases, and the gold card doesn't grant access to them."

One of the socialites nearby chuckled.

However, Serena had picked up on something else from their conversation. There was a piece in the timepiece collection that would pair perfectly with the cufflinks she had given.

"You have timepieces as well? I'd like to custom order the men's watch in gold and dark green."

Sarah hadn't expected to be humiliated like that. Seeing Serena still calmly placing an order made her even more furious.

She snapped, "You don't even have a card. Why do you think you can order such high-end items?"
