Chapter 314
Taking down the Parsons family business was such a small feat that Allison didn't even need to get her hands dirty. All she had to do was express her wishes, and there were plenty of people eager to orchestrate the downfall of the Parsons family company as a favor to the Owens family heiress.
That afternoon, Allison made her way to the hospital. Linda was still in a rough place—pale, weary, and with dark circles under her eyes. Javier had gone back to the office to handle some work, leaving just the nurse in the room.
"Allie, have you heard anything about Lizzy?" Linda's eyes filled with tears at the mere mention of Lizzy's name. Allison just shook her head silently. Tears streamed down Linda's face as she cried quietly. Allison's heart ached for her sister, sharing in the pain. She tried to comfort Linda with a few words, but it didn't seem to help much.
"Auntie, try to get some rest and don't worry too much. I'll be back to see you tomorrow." With that, Allison turned and left.
After leaving the hospital, she headed to the police station. The situation was unchanged: Lizzy's kidnapping was tangled up with multiple parties and international crime networks, making it tough to catch the culprits. The police reassured her they were doing everything they could and promised to let her know of any progress right away.noveldrama
Feeling disheartened, Allison left the station, wandering the streets lost in thought. Suddenly, the haunting images from last night's nightmare flashed before her eyes. Lizzy was tied to a chair, and Chris was pouring gasoline over her. It was exactly the kind of crazy thing Chris would do. Thinking about Lizzy's plight made Allison shiver, her face turning pale as she tried not to dwell on it.
Just then, a woman from the sidewalk charged at her, spewing insults. "You shameless hussy, how desperate are you to go after someone else's boyfriend? Didn't your parents teach you any morals?"
"You look just like a sly fox, always luring men with your cheap tricks!"
Allison's anger flared, her gaze as sharp as a knife. "Another one of Kate's clueless fans? You just believe whatever she says? I'm honestly curious how someone with a brain like yours has made it this far."
The woman, enraged by Allison's comeback, yelled, "You tramp! Raised without manners! Screw your mother!"
"Smack—" Before the words were fully out, Allison's hand flew, landing a solid slap. The woman stood there, stunned. She hadn't expected this seemingly fragile woman to strike her a solid 160 pounds of sass and bluster.

Allison's eyes burned with fury, a menacing aura surrounding her. "Say one more word about my mother, and I'll wreck you!" The terrorin her eyes was so real, the woman instantly backed down. She could see the anger and deadly intent in Allison's gaze.
She had a gut feeling that if she dared to insult her mother again, Allison wouldn't hesitate to do something drastic. Kate's fan trembled, too scared to push luck. As she turned to run, two men in black suits blocked her path.
Allison's stare was as sharp as a sword, her expression dark, as if the air around her was freezing over. The bodyguard kicked the back the fan's knee, making her fall to the ground with a thud. "Apologize." Allison's dark eyes shone with an intimidating light.
