Chapter 7 My Little Bear God
I knew it all along – Ashburn was fully aware of my whereabouts, but I never took it seriously. It’s just this time; he seemed genuinely angry.
This time, I didn’t make a wish to the teddy bear, but he still came.
Not bothering to conceal anything, he directly walked in wearing his slippers.
I naturally sensed Ashburn’s unusual behavior, so I sat up as he entered.
The familiar scent of alcohol lingered. I didn’t turn on the lights, but I was sure he saw my furrowed brow..
Ashburn turned back to change his clothes, dissipating most of the alcohol smell before coming in.
As soon as he entered, he couldn’t control himself and pounced on me.
I didn’t resist; I just softly asked him, “How much did you drink?”
He looked at me in the light from outside the window, “I didn’t drink, you know.”
I laughed, and he finally admitted it.
Admitted that he didn’t drink alcohol at all, but he had to use alcohol as a cover to come over.
His body was full of alcohol, but when he kissed me, there was no taste.
“Why did you come here?”
“Melody, stay away from that man.”
I looked into his eyes, unable to distinguish whether the person before me was weak or brave.
“You can go find Sophia; why can’t I…”
Before I could finish speaking, Ashburn silenced me with a kiss.
There was a hint of a bloody taste in our mouth, as if trying to tear each other apart.
I struggled, but he tightly restrained me.
He released me, wiping away my tears, but I turned my head away.
“Ashburn, don’t forget. Your girlfriend is Sophia, and I’m just your sister.”ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
Seemingly stung by my words, he propped himself up and fled, leaving me alone.
Ashburn, you coward.
