He Transfused All My Blood to His Beloved Novel by Wenxia

Chapter 2

I ignored Elaine as she sat on the floor, crying, and kept calling Jackson.© 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

The phone rang and rang, but no one answered. My heart sank lower with every passing moment.

A crowd gathered outside the room, whispering and pointing at me and Elaine.

“What’s going on? Why such a scene?”

“Who knows? Maybe her kid isn’t getting better, and she’s gone mad, trying to blame others.”

“People nowadays just can’t stand to see others doing well.”

I stubbornly continued calling, tears streaming down my face.

Why? That’s my daughter, my most precious treasure. How could they harm her?

Why should the blood drawn from my body be given to the child of this other woman?

Her son is healthy, while my daughter’s life hangs by a thread.

Where is the justice in that?

But Jackson eventually showed up–he came the moment he saw Elaine’s message, rushing over from his meeting.

He was dressed in a designer suit, wearing slim–framed glasses, his tie perfectly knotted, a picture of professionalism- nothing like the heartless man he truly was.

When Jackson saw me, his face darkened, his brows knitted in frustration, his expression full of impatience.

“What are you doing here? Why aren’t you with Mona? Is she alright?”

“Larissa’s just acting out of concern. After all, we’re so lucky Andrew got the blood transfusion in time. There are so many less fortunate people still waiting in their hospital beds. She’s just too devoted to her child, Jackson. Don’t be mad at her.”

Elaine quickly stood behind Jackson, making sure he saw her swollen face.

The moment Jackson noticed, he tenderly stroked her pale cheek before turning to scold me harshly.

“Did you hit her? I never realized you were so vicious!”

Elaine let huge tears roll down her cheeks, feigning helplessness as she clung to Jackson’s sleeve.

“If hitting me will help Larissa feel better, I wouldn’t mind.”

Watching Elaine’s manipulative display made me feel sick, and I finally snapped.

I yelled at her, “Then go ahead and get hit by a car! Try hemorrhaging, with every bone in your body broken, lying in bed unable to move! Why don’t you and your bastard just go die together!”

“You’re crazy! Why can’t you stand to see others happy? Isn’t Elaine’s child also a child? Or is your daughter the only one that matters?”

Jackson stepped in front of Elaine, pushing me back so hard I stumbled.

“Crazy? I can’t stand others‘ happiness? It was Elaine who crashed into Mona, causing the pile–up! Her bastard son deserves to die! Why should my blood save that brat’s life? Why?”

“I didn’t know close relatives couldn’t donate blood, I-”

“Stop lying! You, Jackson Hart, the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, don’t know something as basic as that? You’re doing this on purpose! You want to trade my daughter’s life for her son’s!”

Jackson looked at me, hysterical and desperate, with nothing but disgust in his eyes.

“Enough. Someone else will donate blood. What’s the point of making such a scene here? You’re disturbing Andrew’s rest.”

“I’m making a scene? Is your son’s life the only life that matters? Doesn’t my daughter’s life count for anything? You’re so heartless! Why doesn’t the heavens strike you down with lightning, you stone–hearted man?”

I screamed and cried in front of the man I

had loved for the best years of my life, and all he did was look at me coldly.

“I told you, Mona will be fine. She’s two years older than Andrew, there’s no need to worry.”

“Mona’s mother! It’s bad–Mona’s gone into hemorrhagic shock after the transfusion!”

A young nurse came running toward me, and as the words hit me, my vision darkened, my legs gave way, and I nearly collapsed.
