His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 2971

Layla was instantly rendered speechless.

She felt that the interaction between Hayden and Shelly was different from that of others, and she could not even begin to think of any advice to give.

"I'm going to take a shower." Hayden stood up from the couch and went back to his room.

Once Hayden left, everyone began to speak freely.

"I feel like Hayden might have some feelings for Shelly." Robert was the first to express an opinion. "If he doesn't like Shelly, he wouldn't have spent the afternoon shopping with her."

"Hahaha! You figured it out, huh? Yet, Hayden doesn't want to admit it!" Layla gloated. "I never expected him to fall for Shelly."

"Hayden is slow to warm up to others, and he might genuinely not realize that he likes Shelly yet. Let's give them some more time," Ivy said.

"Ivy is right. We should create more opportunities for them to go out together more often," Avery said. "I also need to have another chat with Shelly. Perhaps you can talk to her and encourage her not to feel insecure, Layla."

"Mom, why don't you let me do it?" Ivy felt that she and Shelly had similar experiences, so she might be able to help Shelly open up.

"Sure, but don't you have a lot of studying to do? I'm afraid it might affect your studies," Avery said.

"I don't have classes next Tuesday afternoon. I can go and talk to Shelly then." Ivy wanted to help her brother and Shelly, knowing that it would benefit Aiden if his parents were married.

"Okay. Fortunately, Shelly's shop isn't that busy on Tuesdays," Avery replied. "Ivy, ask Shelly about how she feels about Hayden. If Shelly genuinely doesn't like your brother and has no plans to build a family with him in the future, we must respect her wishes."

"Okay, Mom, I will clarify it with her." Ivy agreed without hesitation.

Time flew and soon, Monday came and Courtney's cafe was bustling with activity because they had to deliver cakes and tea to Dreamer Maker.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

The employees were all eager to go to Dream Maker.

"Why don't you go, and I'll stay at the shop?" Shelly had already seen Hayden over the weekend, so she wanted to satisfy her employees' curiosity as much as possible.

"How would that work? Didn't you prepare tea for him? You should personally deliver it!" Courtney did not hesitate and pulled her along "Since everyone wants to go, let's close the cafe and try and get a tour of Dream Maker."

Shelly fell silent at the mention of closing the cafe.

"Courtney, don't really know Hayden well." Shelly did not think that closing the cafe for the day was a good idea, and it was even worse to visit Hayden's company without informing him.

"How would he feel if we wandered inside his company without giving him a heads up?" she thought.

"What are you so scared of? I just want to take a peek inside. He can't be that stingy, can he?"

"We are only handing the cakes over

to the receptionist. Let's not overstay our welcome." Shelly did not want to close the cafe, nor did she want a tour of Hayden's company.

"You two should go! We will stay at the cafe. We were just kidding," the newly hired staff said.

Shelly delivered the cakes to Dream Maker that afternoon, before handing the receptionist a flask of warm tea.

"Miss, can you please hand this to Hayden for me?"

The receptionist smiled. "Ms. Taylor, you should deliver that directly to Mr. Tate yourself! If I am to pass it on for you, he probably wouldn't touch it."
