His Luna

Accident

“Where are you taking me?! Let me go, you monster!” I was trying to get out of Zachary’s tight grip, the employee’s jaw drop upon seeing Zachary with me, and it was fucking annoying, how I see in their eyes, forming a rumor, and I know, it was going to be a dirty one.

I didn’t hear a single word from Zachary, after I told him what I think he was, he went ballistic and instantly grabbed me whenever he thought of me.

“I said, let me go! Are you deaf? Let me fucking go!” but that just tighten his grip on me, and my wrist started to get numb, I thought we were going to his car since we were in the parking area, but my eyes instantly twirled, as my vision starts to become blurry, and the wind slaps on my cheeks.

In just a snap, I’m standing in the middle of the woods I wasn’t familiar with. I should be afraid right now, but curiosity and excitement filled my chest. This is not the usual Zachary I’ve been seeing in the office. His familiar eerie aura, golden eyes, and his intoxicating scent were all in front of my eyes.

“Ahh, I can’t even smell fear on you, little vixen,” he said, near my ear, so I tried to shove him off, but he was nowhere to be found.

“Where is this place, bring me back to where I can ask for help,” instead I heard a mocking laugh, along with the breeze.

“Am I stupid to you, Vera? I’m just wondering, being a vampire can possibly visible, especially if you’ve seen it before your eyes, but how,” he stopped in front of me, the first three buttons of his polo were unbuttoned, and he wasn’t tucked in, “How the hell did you came up with the fact that I have a werewolf blood?”

How will I say this to him? That I can smell him, like the scent I smell on Aaron the first time I met him when I didn’t even know for myself why I can smell it.

“I’m waiting, Vera,” his rasped voice echoed through my system, which made me shiver, “Have you encountered some, before?”

“What is it to you, huh? You don’t have the right to ask me questions I don’t intend to answer. We only have a professional relationship, and I don’t have to answer personal questions,” I talked back, I want to get out of this place. This calm, yet dangerous feeling is way too different from him, walking around the office, wearing his nonchalant expression.

“Well, at this moment, I have the decision to let you live, or to end it right now,” he said, my breath became uneven, and a drop of tear unconsciously fell on my eye. Zachary’s lips curled up, forming a smug smile, “Well, who’s scared now? Hmm?”

I grabbed his hand and his long nails were visible, I didn’t think twice and put it straight to my neck, shock strikes his eyes.

“Then kill me, I don’t need anyone to pity me, you now have the chance to kill me, do it, and don’t think too much, you don’t even need to choose either to kill me or not, just choose violence, I don’t intend to prologue my tiring life,” I look straight into his eyes, his lips were now in awe, “Kill me, Zachary,”

However, my eyes became blurry again, and my body starts to feel numb, is this death? How could be this so painless, is living really that painful, that I selfishly want to embrace this feeling of numbness? In just a snap, I felt everything block.

“You fierce vixen,”

I WOKE UP, feeling different. I roamed my eyes, I’m in my room, yes, I’m in my room, in my bed, did I just woke up?Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Weird.

I stared at my wall clock above the door, five seventeen o’clock. I stood up and went to shower. I want to start my day with a warm shower, I felt sore, and my body is aching, maybe because of yesterday.

I finish my bath and choose my clothes. I wore a black pencil skirt, paired with a satin white blouse, grabbed my white sneakers and black sling bag, let my hair away from my pony, applied a minimal amount of makeup, and exited the house.

I didn’t bother to eat, since I don’t usually eat breakfast. I took a cab and went straight to the office. When I arrived, all eyes were on me, which made me stop walking furthermore. I met their eyes, with confusion.

“What?” I muttered and roamed my eyes to them. Their eyes were all concerned like they saw someone who came from a divorce yesterday and made it to work today.

“Are you fine now? Why did you come for work?” Rabiya asked, she put down her coffee on the nearby table and attended to me, “You should have rest more, Vera,”

My brow furrowed, confused about what they are talking about, “Okay, stop messing around, my head feels like spinning, so, stop messing, try again, because, I won’t fall for that, I’m just here yesterday, you guys are overreacting, isn’t it normal to have workloads for a day? Come on,”

They all look at each other like they’re using some kind of telepathy, “Stop acting, Vera, you’re the one who’s messing around with us,” Allain annoyingly said, and rolled her eyes, before sitting on her table.

“What the hell are you all talking about? I was here yesterday, the whole day, I have a lot of workloads, and I finished it yesterday, around nine, I grabbed a snack, and went home, you can’t mess with my memory, stop that prank,”

Rabiya looks like she is about to cry, “It must have been traumatic to you, that’s why you’re having mixed out memories, Vera.”

“What?” okay, now, I’m confused what’s happening.

“You weren’t here yesterday, Vera,”

I chuckled, “Then where am I?”

“You got hit by a car three days ago, and you’re in critical condition, the president personally brought us that news, three days ago,”

“President?”

Rabiya nodded, “Yes, I’m talking about the CEO, Mr. Zachary Hunter Cullen,”

Zachary? My head starts to spin again, why does his name have this effect on me? Damn it!
