CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
Dandelion Daze 18th birthday. Youngest of Dy’s siblings. She’s next to Dwayne Dale who’s 5 years older than her.
“They spend millions for their youngest debut,” Phoenix said and looked across the hall. You don’t know if it’s really a party hall or a palace. Hailey is with him who is now seven months pregnant. “Are you ok, Hail?”
“Yes, I am ok, I told you I will not come.”
“You can have fun.” Hailey is really aloof. She was not accustomed to socialite. She prefers to stay in a hacienda with the horses.
“Hi,” Margot greeted together with Jace. Hailey and Margot have already met and like us, she like Hailey too. Everyone likes Hailey maybe because of the thought that she’s really innocent which sometimes becomes witty.
“Hi, Hailey.” We look at Dylan who suddenly appears with Maggie and they hold hands. I clenched my fist when I see them. After that fucking Khairo now she’s with Dylan.
“Hi, Dylan. Hi, Maggie,” Hailey smiled at them but looked at me so I smiled at her.
“I heard it’s triplets?” Dylan asked while looking at Hailey’s tummy.
“Yes, all girls.” Dylan laughed then looked at Phoenix.
“Shooter, but looks like there’s a dad who’s going to have a headache. Three Marys right away. Anyway, enjoy the party.” Dylan goes with Maggie. He held Maggie by the waist and they were very close.
“Blaze.” I looked at Hailey.
“Yes?”
“It’s not too late. We, women, are quick to get hurt but our hearts are also quick to soften if the one in front of us is the one we love.” I couldn’t answer her and just looked at Maggie. “I hope you too become ok,” she added. I was just shaken. I don’t know how to begin. I admit I’m jealous but I’m also annoyed to think that she’s ruining her life like that.
Dane and Zeus arrived at the same time. Dane just greeted us and she went straight to their family table. But of them all, Dylan was not with them because he was accompanied by his two friends and Maggie.
Maggie and Dylan talked while side by side in the chair. They laughed and talked as Dylan held Maggie’s back. He caresses Maggie’s back. Sometimes he kisses Maggie on the shoulder. I started to get annoyed and I wanted to stand up and pull Maggie.
The party started and I didn’t understand much. All I know is that Daze changed clothes many times. Margot told us that the debutant changed 18 times. 18 roses started, since Dane included us on the list we were on the Daze 18 roses. Phoenix first, then Jace, Me, and Zeus. When my turn I greeted Daze and wish her and good luck with her legality. She just thanked me and also thanked me for coming.
She’s really beautiful. No wonder she’s a Dy.
After the 18 roses, I noticed Dylan whispering to Maggie. Then Maggie nodded and they stood up. They each carried a glass while Dylan carried a bottle of wine. They came out of the party hall so I also stood up to follow them. I will not wait for them to return.
“Where are you going?” Jace asked but I ignored him. I came out of the hall and I heard them laughing and walking towards the end. Meaning they are going to the open pool on the terrace. I followed them there and saw them standing and leaning against the railings and laughing. There is no one else but them.
“Maggie,” I called to so they stared.
“You have a stalker, baby,” Dylan put her glass on the table next to the bottle then took a cigarette and lit it.
“Why?”
“Let’s talk.” Dylan put the cigarette in Maggie’s mouth who inhaled then blew the smoke in Dylan’s face.
“Speak.”
“It’s just the two of us.” She looked at Dylan then laughed.
“Can you evaporate, Dylan? so Blaze can’t see you.”
“Evaporate!” Dylan shouted then they laughed. Dylan took something from his pocket then put it in Maggie’s drink and in her glass. They up the glass to cheers and drank at the same time. She still doesn’t stop doing that?
“Maggie, let’s talk.”
“Talk here.”
“Come with me.”
“Asks Dylan’s permission.” I looked at Dylan who was smiling at me broadly. “Dylan Damon Dy, Blaze Gonzales wants to talk to me.” Dylan motioned his finger as a sign of no then lowered the glass and smoked a cigarette again and put it back in Maggie’s mouth.
“No Dylan said, my baby Blaze, so my answer is no.”
“Why are you listening to him?”
“Because —-” She looked at Dylan then ——- she kissed him in front of me. I clenched my fist and wanted to kick them. They kissed passionately while holding their face. When they stopped Maggie turned to face me. But Dylan hugged her and placed his chin on Maggie’s shoulder as he hugged Maggie from behind.
“What now? You’re going to punch me as your friend did before?” Dylan asked and kissed Maggie’s neck while looking at me.
“Are you really that low, Maggie?” But she just laughed so did Dylan. Dylan kissed her neck, again and she closed her eyes. I heard her moan while holding Dylan’s head.
“Yes, Blaze, so?”
“I asked you in a nice way to fix our problem. But if that’s what you want, I don’t care at all.”
“Ok, bye.”
“She doesn’t even care about you also,” Dylan said. He turned Maggie to him and their bodies were very close. Dylan’s head is still on Maggie’s shoulder. One hand on her waist and the other hand on her back.
I thought he would just hug Maggie but he grabbed the zipper of her dress then slowly lowered it. I tighten my grip because of what he does. He shows me that he can do anything in Maggie in front of me.
“What else are you doing there? Maggie’s don’t want to you.” Maggie’s back was constantly exposed. Dylan ran his finger over Maggie’s back and Maggie moaned and even hugged Dylan tightly. “Go now, and we’re gonna fuck here until morning.”
I felt all the blood rush to my head. I kicked Dylan so Maggie was pushed but he also got me twice. Maggie’s back was still exposed as she stared into somewhere while smoking and drinking alcohol. I rushed to Dylan again but he retaliated again.
“What happened here?” Dylan quickly stood up and put Maggie to face us when Dane, Jace, and Zeus arrived. I saw him fix Maggie’s back and it looked like the zipper had closed. “Dylan, what are you doing here? What happens here and why do you have wounds?”
“Tss, not funny at all because everyone is here.” Maggie laughs and then lowers the glass.
“Dane is a scene-stealer,” Dylan said.
“Maggie, what are you doing here?” Margot asked.
“Dylan and I just having fun when Blaze came over to fight,” Maggie answered when Dylan held her hands.
“Come on, Mag, there’s no fun here because there’s an attention seeker like us.” He holds Maggie’s hand then they walk away.
“Maggie, talk to Blaze,” Margot said and held Maggie’s hand so she and Dylan went back.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
“Don’t care about me. Care about your life with you so claim boyfriend but don’t care about you and just feel sorry for you.”
“You’re overreacting!” Margot shouted.
“Don’t shout at her, Margot,” Dylan warned Margot.
“What do you care?” Jace said. “You’re arrogance, why because you’re a Dy? Defending her because you’re both crazy.” Jace protected Margot.
“Try me,” Dylan challenged.
“HEY!” Dane shouted and blocked her hand. “Maggie, the only issue here is you and Blaze. Talk to him.”
“I don’t want to, we don’t have to talk anymore because he’s the one who ended it.”
“You’re on drugs?” Margot asked. And they are because I saw it myself. “What’s wrong with you?”
“You know, Margot, before you ask my problem, solve your problem with the man that just chasing your body but no plans to get serious!”
“I’m just worried about you!”
“Don’t shout at her!” It’s Dylan again.
“Don’t shout at her either!” Jace formed his fist and was ready to attack Dylan.
“Stop it! Dylan let them talk,” Dane said. I no longer joined them. All I wanted was to talk to Maggie but it seemed vague. Now they are fighting and the two sisters are both angry.
“You don’t know anything, Dane, you might not be able to control where their conversation will go.”
“It’s a sibling talk,” I said.
“You don’t know so shut your mouth.”
“Heck, Dylan, let Margot talks whatever she wants, she’s a sister and she has the right to tell Maggie what she wants to say.”
“Really, Dane? Fine, ok, go ahead Margot, talk to your sister. But, I warned you that you already know how far your limit is.”
“Leave her, Dylan. Let her say everything she wants to say. Say it.”
“All my understanding and love I gave you, Maggie. Then what, when you’re hurt you don’t care at me. You don’t care how I feel for you. What am I to you? Am I not your sister?”
“Yes, because you’re too dramatic in life. A little twitching, crying, a little problem, crying, you didn’t do anything but cry,” Maggie said to her sister.
“You’re right because I love you. Because you’re my sister and you’re the only one I have.”
“You mean because you don’t have an ally. No one is staying with you because you’re too dramatized!” Dylan holds her hand to rebuke.
“That’s enough, Maggie, don’t talk again and maybe what else can Margot say to you,” Dylan stopped her.
“Then let her speak and let her out whatever she have in mind.”
“Yes Maggie, you’re right, I am too dramatic and no one is enduring me. Do you know why? Because you killed the only person who believed in me and was by my side.” I frowned at what Margot said. Even Jace and Zeus were the same I saw on their faces that they are in shock. But it wasn’t Dylan who closed his eyes and twitched to swear. “She died because of you, Maggie. Because of you, I lost the only person who loves me. You killed her, Maggie.”
“Don’t blame her, Margot, you’re not the only one who lost Mother,” Dylan said while he held back his anger and stood still. “Stop it, for fuck sake,” he added while gritting his teeth.
“No Dy, let her.” He held Dylan’s hand. “All right, Margot, blame me for everything inside you. Blame me for your resentment. All your anger. Tell me everything now!”
“Don’t dare,” Dylan warned, Margot. “Enough of what you said and you might regret it later. I warned you already not to exceed the limit.” Dylan glared at Margot so Margot didn’t speak anymore. She looked at us as if she suddenly realized what she had said was wrong and she looked at Maggie.
“Now, I know, after all this year. I’m really the one you’re blaming. You’re just pretending that you love me love but you’re really mad at me.” She looked up as if holding back the tears then look at us. “You told me that it’s not at fault but what? You’re just holding back and waiting for the right time to blame me all.”
“Maggie stop.” Dylan holds her.
“Maggie, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean–” Margot approached her.
“Don’t touch me! Don’t come near me! After all this year, I’m trying to get rid of my guilt, my regrets, that’s all I can hear from you!”
“I’m sorry.” Margot cried.
“You already said that! Fuck! Fuck!” She keeps on shouting while holding her head and beating her.
“Maggie,” I called her but Dylan told me not to come near. We all just stared at her. Maggie kicks the railings while screaming loudly then slaps herself and hits her head.
“Maggie, Mag, Maggie.” Dylan tried to tame her. She stopped what she was doing and looked at Dylan while crying.
“I’m so worthless Dy.” Then she slapped herself hard so we were also surprised but Dylan was just calm.
“Stop it. Stop it, ok? Remember what I told you, before? Maggie, don’t let them hurt you. Don’t let their words ruin you.” Then he whispered something to Maggie.
Maggie wiped away her tears then looked as if nothing had happened. She walked over to us and then stopped in front of Margot.
“You’re worthless sister, Margot. Don’t call me and look for me because I’m cutting off our connection.” And she walks as nothing happened.
“Wrong move, Margot, I warned you but you didn’t listen,” Dylan said from looking at us. “Prepared you black dress to mourn. In case I can’t watch and stop her.” Then he looked at Jace. “Next time you will call her crazy, your parents will cry for the rest of their life because of you.”
Fuck, we’re clueless.
