Closed by ten o'clock...
Why were things even stricter than a university dormitory?
Although Larry was speaking against his will, he continued, "This is a residential area for the upper-
class. In order to protect the safety and privacy of the residents, such a rule was made."
"What should I do, then?" Margaret felt like crying, but she couldn't shed any tears.
"Just stay the night," Charleston said.
"That's not very appropriate, is it?" Margaret replied, sounding unwilling.
"If you don't want to stay here, feel free to stray on the community streets. You have only but one
option." Charleston's eyes were deep and charming.
"Then I'd better stay here." Margaret touched her nose.
"Take Miss Simons to choose a room." Charleston instructed.
"I don't need to choose. Any one would be fine." Margaret waved her hand.
"Okay, just arrange for her to stay in the room next door." Charleston made the decision for her.
Margaret was quiet upon hearing that. She couldn't help but feel weird about the situation.
In the end, she was to bunk in in the room next to Charleston's.
"Sir, this is Miss Simons' information." Larry carefully put a document of Margaret's information in front
of Charleston. "She was in Milesburg four years ago and was hospitalized for a short period of time.
We wanted to investigate further about what happened, but found that all her information had been
erased." He explained.
The Limbaugh family was strong and powerful, yet they couldn't manage to get hold of her information.
The other party's family must be as powerful as his family.
"Thus, she only returned to the Simons family as an adopted child when she was 18 years old.
Additionally, her boyfriend cheated on her with her sister, Stephanie before ultimately getting together
with her." Larry continued. NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
Charleston looked down at the paper on his desk. His line of sight fell on the word "boyfriend".
Charleston's obsidian-like eyes flashed the will to slaughter somebody.
"Also, the airport CCTV shows that Miss Simons was indeed the only person to have come into contact
with your wallet." Larry added.
"Okay, I see. You can leave now." The light above Charleston's head shined on him, revealing a hint of
coldness on his handsome face.
"Yes, Sir." Larry nodded and left.
Charleston got up and walked towards the door.
As he arrived outside of Margaret's room and was about to push its door open, he realized that the
door had been locked from the inside.
There was a smile on the corner of Charleston's mouth. She was so vigilant.
He had the key anyway. So, he unlocked the door and entered. The room was dark, but he could make
out the silhouette of a woman sleeping on the bed. He walked closer to her and saw her in her slumber,
looking sweet and attractive like a dessert.
Just by looking at her, Charleston couldn't help but feel a flash of desire shot through his eyes.
She was really attractive.
Charleston bent down and kissed her forehead, then the tip of her nose, and then her tender lips...
He wanted to go further, but was worried that he would scare her.
His slender fingers brushed across Margaret's cheek, and his body felt the strong, fiery pang of desire.
"You are mine. You can only be mine!" He thought to himself.
The next day.
Charleston was no longer there when Margaret woke up.
Larry sent her back. As soon as they got home, Margaret received a call from Sandra.
"Investors of Ancient Star will have a meeting today, you should go there too. It is going to be at 12
o'clock, in Room 569 of Emperor Hotel." Sandra informed her.
"Okay, noted." Margaret replied.
After hanging up the phone, Sandra looked at Stephanie, who was in front of her, and said, "Miss
Simons, I have already informed Margaret that she has to be at the Emperor Hotel by 12 o'clock."
"Well done." Stephanie said. She was wearing a white dress from a high-end fashion brand. Her make
up was fabulous, and the smile on her face was seen to be growing wider and wider.
"Oh Margaret, I didn't expect that you would come back from abroad and get yourself a role in a play."
Stephanie thought to herself.
"Are you trying to go over my head?"
"Dream on!"
A hint of darkness flashed across Stephanie's eyes. She had already caused Margaret to be
shamefully kicked out of the Simons family four years ago. It would be easy for her to put Margaret
through the same hell four years after.
