Chapter 310 Flattering
"Yes."
Eudora didn't say anything, but she heard the man on the other end of the phone chuckle and ask, "Are
you hungry? Let me treat you to dinner."
"OK. Let's go to Phil's Restaurant."
"OK,"
Colbert readily agreed.
Eudora hung up the phone, looked at Wendy sitting across from her, and smiled evilly. "Don't you want
to meet Colbert? I can let you live in his house with an extra one million dollars, so how about that?"
"Live... In his house? That could work, but one million is too expensive. I'll pass."
"How about 800,000 dollars then?"
"Too expensive."
"700,000 dollars?"
"Expensive."
"Five hundred thousand dollars is my final bottom line. It depends on how much you value it. Maybe
you can have long-term cooperation with the Steele family."
"Well, that makes sense. Okay then, 500,000 dollars it is," Wendy agreed.
Eudora lowered her head and drank her coffee, her lips curling into a meaningful smile.
An hour later, at Phil's Restaurant.
Eudora and Wendy sat quietly in the private room, waiting. Soon, Colbert appeared at the door of the
room and walked in, immediately noticing Wendy.
"Mr. Steele, hello."
Seeing Colbert walking in, Wendy immediately stood up and greeted him.
Colbert nodded slightly and sat opposite the two.
"Did you wait long?"
He glanced at Eudora with some displeasure.
Eudora ignored his gaze. "I'm hungry, so let's order. I want the best, whatever's expensive."
Damn it. She was still unhappy about him taking advantage of her yesterday. What a bastard! This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
"OK,"
Colbert agreed and pressed the call button on the table. The waitress walked in. "Hello, what would
you like to order?"
"Give us the most expensive set meal for two," Colbert said, raised his gaze, and looked at Wendy,
"What would you like to have, Ms. Bartlett?"
"I'm easy. I'll just have black pepper spaghetti and steak,"
Wendy smiled politely and said to the waitress.
The waitress wrote down the order and said, "Please wait a moment." Then she turned around and left
the private room.
The atmosphere in the room gradually quieted down.
Wendy found a topic and joked, "Mr. Steele and Eudora seem to have a good relationship, and it's
really enviable."
"Don't flatter me. He's my brother. Just treat him as one of your own," Eudora lifted the glass of water
on the table and took a sip, casting a glance at Colbert, feeling angry inside.
