Chapter 322 Life Is Hard

Colbert called Belinda back, but she didn't seem to have anything important to say and hung up after

just a few words.

As the car slowly made its way downtown, Colbert suddenly asked, "What should we eat?"

Eudora thought for a moment, glanced at the roadside breakfast shop, and said to Corey, "Corey,

please pull over."

"Sure thing, Ms. Stanford."

Corey nodded and steered the car to the side of the road.

"Wait for me in the car, and I'll buy something for you."

Eudora said to Colbert as she pushed open the car door and headed directly across the street to the

breakfast shop.

A few minutes later, Eudora came back, holding the food carefully, and got into the car, closing the door

behind her.

"Here, your breakfast."

She handed a breakfast to Colbert and another one to Corey. "Corey, you've been working hard, have

some breakfast."

Taking his breakfast, Colbert looked at the food in the plastic bag silently. There was a shell-less egg,

along with a cup of milk.

Colbert frowned, and his eyes showed a hint of disgust. "Is this what you call breakfast?"

"Yeah, is there a problem? There are eggs and milk, so this is already considered a hearty breakfast."

Eudora glanced at Colbert and whispered to herself, "Life is hard; making money is difficult. I have

spent a lot on breakfast today." All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

Corey, who was sitting in the driver's seat, looked at the egg in the bag, falling silent. He looked up at

Colbert through the rearview mirror but saw that he was still staring at the egg, hesitating to eat it.

"Mr. Steele, Felice Restaurant is just around the corner. Do you want to eat there?"

Corey had followed Colbert for over ten years and knew that Colbert never ate food from roadside

stalls. Corey knew that Colbert thought the food from the roadside stalls was unhygienic and unhealthy,

so Corey suggested going to Felice Restaurant instead.

"Go to Felice Restaurant?"

Eudora's eyes lit up. She immediately took away the breakfast from Colbert, which he had been staring

at for a while. "If I had known earlier that you wanted to go to Felice Restaurant, I wouldn't have bought

you breakfast. Since you don't like it, I'll save it for tomorrow morning."

Colbert, who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, was used to eating gourmet and nutritious

food. However, he never ate these roadside snacks.
