Chapter 706 Visiting Amy And Derek (Part One)
"Hm." Violet nodded. She was so moved that she couldn't say a word.
Greg asked,"Honey, are we not going home tonight?"
"This is also our home. We'll stay here tonight. I haven't slept on my bed for quite a long time." Saying
so, she went to her bed and sat down.
"Okay, then I'll stay here with you tonight," Greg replied and sat next to Violet.
Violet said,"Take a shower first. You can go to bed after that." NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
Greg grinned and asked,"Why don't we take a shower together?"
"Who wants to shower with you? Not me!" Violet laughed.
"That's not up to you to decide. I'm the one in charge here." Greg grabbed Violet and took her into the
bathroom.
Violet got up quite early the next morning. She got dressed and then opened the curtains of the French
window of her bedroom.
Greg, who was still lying on the bed, idly said,"Darling, I'm still naked. Why are you opening the
curtains already?"
"You'd better get up. We have other things to do today," said Violet. She went to the bed again and tried
to pull Greg out of bed.
When Greg figured out what she was planning to do, he squinted and quickly pulled her into his arms.
Violet fell for his trick and was immediately bound by his strong arms.
"What are you doing? Get up!" Violet scolded playfully.
"Just another moment. Let me hug you for a while." Greg held her tightly, closed his eyes and enjoyed
the moment.
Violet tried to use Lily as an excuse to get away from him saying,"Let go of me. Lily might come in any
minute now."
"Lily should know that we are sleeping. Why would she bother us?" Greg grinned happily. He realized
that without this woman, his world was so cold and cruel, but now it was warm and bountiful.
"Greg, what do you want to do?" Violet finally stopped resisting and looked at Greg. He looked lazy, but
still quite handsome.
"I will comply. But before that, shouldn't I be rewarded, for getting up early in the morning, and staying
up late at night?" said Greg, grinning, deliberately stressing the word 'up'.
"Knock it off, Greg. Don't you dare tease me like that," But Violet had decided to satisfy him. As his
wife, she had already given him everything she had and she would never decline his requests.
Violet kissed him softly on his lips and after ten seconds, she withdrew.
"Is that enough? Now get up quickly. We need to go to Uncle Derek's home," Violet said.
Greg replied,"Okay. You're pretty sweet and obedient today, so I grudgingly agree."
They went downstairs after washing up and getting dressed.
"Lily, good morning!" Violet walked into the kitchen and greeted Lily.
Lily happily greeted back,"Violet, you're up! I've made breakfast. You and Greg can have it now."
"Okay. Thank you for your hard work," said Violet. She leaned on Lily's shoulder and looked at her
intimately. If she and Greg weren't home, Lily wouldn't have had to wake up so early in the morning to
make breakfast for them.
Lily replied smiling,"Don't say that. You don't need to be so polite to me. It's my pleasure to make
breakfast for you and Greg. Is it Greg first time to have breakfast here?"
Violet said,"Yes. But you don't have to pay too much attention on him. We can just do things the usual
way."
"How could I do that? After all, Greg is your husband now. I certainly have to be polite and nice to him,"
Lily said, preparing the plates.
"You're right," Violet thought about what Lily had said and it made sense. Greg was kind of an honored
guest in this house.
Just at that moment, Greg came into the kitchen.
"Are you speaking ill of me behind my back?" Greg teased her. He knew that no one would say mean
things about him, but he still loved to joke around with Violet.
Violet replied,"No one says anything bad about you. You're my husband and you're a good man. There
is really nothing horrible to talk about you anyway." She went to Greg and snuggled up to him.
Lily was standing next to them and when she saw that they were in a good relationship, she was very
happy. As long as Violet was glad and lived happily, Lily didn't want anything more.
Greg replied,"Well, that makes sense." He lowered his head to look at Violet and knew it in his heart
that he would do anything for her as long as she flirted playfully with him.
Lily laughed and said,"All right, all right. You two go to the dining room and I'll serve the breakfast in a
minute."
Greg acted cute, like a little child. He said,"Thank you, Lily."
Violet noticed that Greg was being polite and nice to Lily, so she quickly told Lily,"Lily, don't believe him.
He is acting cute and polite in front of you."
Greg argued,"How could you say that? I am grateful from the bottom of my heart." Saying that, he
pulled Violet out of the kitchen.
Violet said,"It's so obvious. Why would you even argue?"
Lily was delighted to hear the two of them arguing like little kids.
After having breakfast, Greg brought around his car and they left together.
Violet and Greg stood at Derek's door with a bunch of gifts and rang the doorbell.
Amy was hanging out the laundry on the balcony and when she saw the two, she shouted from the
second floor,"Violet, is that you?"
Violet and Greg, who were at the front door, looked around to find the source of the voice.
When Violet saw Amy, she shouted back,"Aunt Amy, it's me! I am here with Greg to see you."
