IMP

Chapter 32: Eejilelogbon

Chapter 32: Eejilelogbon

"Motherfucker, let me free."

The fellow cried but all he could hear was the echo of his voice. He was weak and could feel the veins

remonstrating. His eyes were blacking out and his strength was waning.

He was tied to a large tree. He couldn't say since when he had been tied but he was sure that it'd been

hours.

The Imp had tied him after taking him into the forest and had left him for the wild.

He looked around hastily if anything was coming. He was glad that no wild cat had plied that route.

Twas hard to tell why. Twas unusual. Probably the Imp had devoured all the wild life. That probably was

why there was nothing left.

"Motherfucker!!!!"

He cried again. Then he had a growl from behind. He was shook.

"Who are you?"

His voice broke to the quaking of his courage. He had no eyes in the back.

Shame that he had nursed the wrong thought. He had thought that he was safe until then.

A deep growl succeeded the first. He closed his eyes for some seconds. He flipped open again.

He tried to fight himself free but he was way too weak. The Imp had dug gores in the space between

the chest and the arms.

He had bled until the sore became sticky. The growl came again then he began to hear a dramatic

movement from behind.

He was sure that that wasn't the monster. He was familiar with his growl. The growl of the monster

would come with intervals.

There was a rhythmic shift to the growl. Like the fall of pitch and then a smothered order of crescendos.

He could feel the weight on his head as the creature walked out into the open.

Twas a grown ass lion with heavy jaw and blinking eyes.

The lion walked to the front as though it didn't seem him. From NôvelDrama.Org.

He was chopping the lumps swelling in his throat. He had no idea what to do. He wished he could enter

into the tree and stay locked in there forever.

The lion walked on the side then halted. It looked at him. Twas standing opposite, though few metres

away from him.

Even though the distance, he felt like the lion was already on him. He was beginning to pee in his

pants. What good would being decent do him in such state?

The lion blinked again and roared. As it roared, the fellow saw the way the jaw was flexed and the

strength of the teeth.

Just a bite from it would end him. Even a throw, would crush his bones.

He looked at the paws of the lion. They were very heavy. If he was told that there was such a lion in

that forest, he would doubt.

The lion shook its head and began to charge at him. He closed his eyes. There was nothing he could

do.

He only kept screaming. Then at once, he had a large collision. Like two enormous things met.

He opened his eyes, he saw the Imp on the lion, struggling with it.

He sighed in relief. A borrowed relief.

The lion seemed rather stronger than the Imp, but the Imp was tactical.

The lion threw the Imp away. The Imp snarled and stooped.

His eyes were dark and fiery. The guy could see fear etched in the eyes of the lion.

But a typical lion has been bathed in pride. It wouldn't run before an opposition. It would stand his

ground.

Twas his forest. Twas his home. Such place wasn't a home to such creature as the Imp.

The guy could see that determination etched in the eyes and stiffened jaw of the lion.

He for the first time was jealous of the cat. He wished he was that courageous. He wished he was that

strong.

The lion charged at the Imp and hit him with the heavy paws. The Imp grunted and staggered.

The lion tried to bite into the side of the Imp, but he sunk his claws into the jaw.

As soon as he noticed that he had a chance against the cat, he hopped on the cat and began to dig his

claws in every part of the lion's body.

The fellow felt sorry for the cat. No sooner, the lion staggered back and fell dead.

The Imp hopped on the carcass and dug the intestines out and gobbled.

The fellow threw his face away. The Imp noticed and began to walk towards him.

He got to the guy and sunk his claws into the stomach of the fellow.

He screamed. The Imp growled and climbed up the tree under which the guy was tied.
