CHAPTER 31
It felt like a dream come true. It is a dream come true. My makeup was done to perfection by the make-up artist and my hair was a low bun with a mini bouffant and side sweep. I felt like a princess who was being dolled up to meet her prince charming at the bottom of the stairs. Everything was falling into place. I
was finally getting married to the man I loved. I got up from my seat when the hairstylist was done with my hair and got into the beautiful white diamond gown. I ran my fingers along the lacy material and it sparkled under my touch.
“Truly amazing,” the hairstylist said, putting her combs and brush inside her bag. I got compliments from the people around me, and I either answered them with a smile or a thank you.
It was finally time. My parents walked me to the large wooden door that was closed, and mom kissed me on the cheek, telling me how beautiful I looked before leaving Dad and I there. We stood there for a minute, and I used the opportunity to calm my nerves. The door was finally opened and the trumpets blown. My dad
cuffed my arm in his embrace and walked me down the aisle. I never expected this many people to attend. I was nervous and my hands shook. The lights in the throne room were dim, and a single light followed me.
I used my right hand to hold onto the heavy gown, which sparkled as I walked down the aisle. I could only focus on the man who was standing at the top of the stairs in a black tuxedo suit and his royal robe around his neck with his golden crown seated on his head.
A smile formed on my lips as I kept on walking. A few people gasped as I walked, but I paid no mind to them. I was already standing at the top of the stairs next to the king as dad handed me to the king, the man I love.
We stood opposite each other, with the priest in front of us. Our vows were said and I do’s were muttered, rings were exchanged and kisses were shared.
Of course, today was a double ceremony, a double celebration, for I would be crowded queen.
The archimoon (archbishop in human terms) came forward, and Elijah stepped back, giving up space for the crowning.
A servant came forward and in his hands was a pillow that held a scepter, an orb, and a golden crown, although smaller than that of Elijah’s.
The throne room was silent as the archimoon spoke. “Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern and protect the peoples of the Lycan race, which includes the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia, Africa and all of your possessions and the other territories and packs to any of them belonging or pertaining, according to the law?” He asked.

I held the scepter and orb in both my hands, raising it forward and showing it to the people of the land.
“All this I promise to do,” I responded aloud, before dropping the scepter and orb back on the pillow, then kneeling down and dipping my hands into the secret water of the goddess. “The things which I have here before promised, I will perform and keep.” So help me goddess. ”
After I had finished saying those words, the archimoon placed the crown on my head and said aloud, “You are now crowned queen!”
Everyone cheered, and I smiled, waving my hand. The King came to my side and took me by my hand and led me to my seat by his side.
He placed a kiss on my cheek, still not letting go of my hand, and whispered in my ear. “I love you so much, Celeste.”

Two hours later, it was reception. It kind of saddens me that I couldn’t have it outside the palace grounds. Maybe in one of those fancy places in town? Anyway,
I was still grateful for what I had. I wasn’t saying that the reception wasn’t okay… It was far from it. Everything was done to perfection; the chandelier sparkled under the yellow lights, and the party was in full swing.
I changed into a new dress and, honestly, I almost cried when I had to take the wedding dress off.
After we had the dinner, all the traditional speeches and dance stuff The party was in full swing. As I said, people congratulated me. I sometimes stuff food in my mouth when no one is looking, so yeah, everything was perfect.
How many times have I said perfect today? Maybe ten times or more? But it was true and it seems to be true.
I danced with my husband… It kind of feels weird saying that out loud, but I have to get used to it. I danced with my parents and used the opportunity to ask Dad if he had told Mom the secret, and he said he would tell her soon.
After a few more hours of mingling with people and ending my party, it was finally coming to an end and I and Elijah retreated to our room, though a few people were still partying.
I was nervous as Elijah faced the mirror and took off his suit. Goddess, why am I even nervous? This isn’t the first time we’ve been together. I mean, we’ve even had sex a couple of times.
I turned around, taking off my yellow dress, and when I couldn’t reach the zipper at the back, a hand came behind me and pulled it down, making my dress fall to the ground and pool around my feet.
I took in a sharp breath as his hand snaked around my waist and pulled me to his chest. I was naked, save for my pants.
He places a soft kiss on my neck, and I lean back against him and release a sigh.
“You looked beautiful today,” he mumbled against my mark while rubbing softly on my baby bump.
I hummed and turned around, hooking my hand around his neck, leaning in for a kiss. He wasted no time in capturing my lips in his. We soon made it to the bed, and in no time, our underwear were gone.
The kiss was slow, filled with passion and love. He placed soft kisses all over my body, and soon I could feel him in me. He kept whispering words of love as well.
I was building up and so was he. I turned his head to the side, extending my canines and telling my wolf to take control. I bit into his neck and I felt our souls merging together, connecting together. We both came together, and I licked the blood that trailed down his chest.
I lay beside him and kissed him, rubbing my hand on his stomach. “Mine,
” he said through the mind link, and I broke the kiss, smiling at him. “Yours,” I said back.
