Chapter 25
Wilbur smiled. “Ten minutes will do. Il do it myself if he doesn’t come.”
Lightning Hank continued eating, seemingly carefree.
As the biggest gang in Seechertown and the ruler of the underground scene for almost twenty years, he *was absolutely confident in himself.
Furthermore, he was not alone. A gang leader of one of the bigger gangs had wanted to ambush him but had been taken down by Hank’s backer unnoticeably. Hank did not feel as if he needed to fear anyone.
This time, he was planning to let the Cape Consortium witness his power so that they would behave in the future.
Ten minutes went by quickly enough. Gordon hurriedly got in alone in plain clothes.
“Mister Penn, are you alright?” Gordon asked at once. Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
Wilbur looked at the time and smiled. “You’re quite punctual.”
Gordon bowed his head as a sign of respect before turning to look at Lightning Hank and his men. “Which one of you is the leader? Show yourself.”
Lightning Hank glanced at Gordon coldly, saying, “Who the hell are you? Tell me your name.”
“Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you meddle in the Black Tiger Gang’s business. Do you have a death wish?” Stanley shouted from the side as well.
Gordon smirked coldly. “You’ll find out who I am pretty soon.”
Just as he finished speaking, the police sirens and screeches of car brakes sounded outside.
Lightning Hank frowned and looked out.
At that moment, countless members of the special services brigade barged in, armed to the teeth. They surrounded the people in the factory in no time.
Lightning Hank’s expression finally changed, and he got up to his feet.
Stanley was stupefied. There were almost a hundred armed soldiers out there. Compared to them, Hank and his men looked like a ragtag group of powerless rascals.
From the sound of it, there were even more people outside. The sound of footsteps indicated that the place was completely surrounded.
Just then, Gordon came up to Lightning Hank with a group of soldiers behind him. “You wanted to know who I was, didn’t you? Il tell you right now. I’m Gordon Grayson.”
Lightning Hank stumbled backward in shock, knocking over his chair with a crash.
-His forehead beaded with sweat.
He never expected that this young man would be connected to someone like Gordon Grayson.
Gordon was a national general! Lightning Hank would never dare to mess with someone like that.
Hank was about to speak when Gordon cut him off by shouting. “Take them down. Shoot anyone who fights back.”
A group of soldiers rushed up at once, putting Lightning Hank and his men all in handcuffs and forcing them to kneel.
Stanley was scared out of his wits. He did not expect someone like Gordon to get involved in this. He knew that Lightning Hank was powerful, but he was no match for Gordon. Stanley was truly done for.
Just then, Lightning Hank did his best to keep his cool as he knelt on the ground. “General Grayson! I’m a member of the Owens clan! You can’t do anything to me!”
“The Owens clan?” Gordon snorted coldly, “I don’t care who you are. If you break the law and disrupt peace, I’ll have to teach you a lesson regardless.”
Just then, Wilbur walked up to Faye and said in a soft voice, “It’s alright now. Don’t be scared.”
“Okay.” Faye nodded repeatedly, regaining some courage at last.
Faye had nothing much to say considering how Gordon would show up for Wilbur’s sake. She looked at Wilbur with her gaze filled with admiration.
He was both wealthy and powerful. How was someone like that not worthy of admiration?
After comforting Faye for a while, Wilbur came up to Stanley with a smile. “You were behind all of this, weren’t you?”
“Sir, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. I won’t do this anymore, Stanley sobbed and begged relentlessly, the arrogance in his voice completely gone.
