Chapter 9: 9
Chapter 9: 9
A knock at the door woke Kinsley. She lifted her head from her pillow and looked at the door through a sleepy haze. Another knock drew her from her bed. She got up and took the blanket from the bed, and wrapped it around herself as she walked over to the door. Kinsley opened the door and looked out into the hallway to see Octavius looking back at her wide awake and looking put together in his designer clothes. He looked like he had been up for hours. “Good Morning Miss. Wells.”
“What time is it?” She asked sleepily.
“Seven,” he answered her question. “Breakfast will be served in twenty minutes. His Majesty expects you to join him.”
“Does he now,” she frowned. “Well, you can just tell him I am tired, and I am sleeping in. He will simply have to have breakfast without me.”
Octavius gave her a confused look. Like he could not believe she was refusing to join Nicholas. “Excuse me?” He asked with uncertainty.
“No, I am not coming.”
“His Majesty has ordered….”
“His Majesty,” she cut him off with annoyance, “will simply have to eat alone. I will deal with him when I am good and ready,” she then shut the door in his face and crawled back into bed.

Nicholas sat at the head of the table in the dining room, waiting for Kinsley to join him. He was trying to be patient, but she was taking a long time. He perked up when Octavius walked into the room, but his smile was replaced with a frown when he came in alone.
“What is taking so long?” Nicholas asked. Octavius looked like he did not know how to say what he was about to. “Octavius, where is Miss Wells?”
“Um… she is not coming down.”
He felt his jaw clench. “Why not?”
“She does not want to.”
“I gave an order.”
“Yes, I know. I told her that.”
“And…?”
Octavius cringed. “She said… she would deal with you when she was good and ready.”
“Did she now?” He could feel his ire boil. Just who the hell did she think she was to disobey him?

Kinsley heard the door to her room open. Startled by the intrusion, she shot up in bed, clutching the blanket around her. She had was dressed in her panties and a tank top. It was how she always slept. Though she was covered, she was not presentable for company. She turned to see Nicholas march in, and the scowl etched into his handsome face told her he was not happy.
She stared at him, surprised he had barged into her room without knocking. “I gave an order, and I expect it to be followed.” This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
Kinsley frowned. This was about her not coming down for breakfast. She straightened her back and thrust out her chin defiantly. “Nowhere in the contract did it say I was to obey commands.”
“I would have thought that went without saying. I am royalty. You are a….”
“What?” She snapped, tossing back the covers and getting to her feet so she could square off against him. “A servant? A slave? A prostitute?” She the last word with venomous disdain. “Well, news flash, Your Majesty, but this is America, and your title means jack shit here, so check the ego at the door,” she snarled, walking over to her suitcase that was on the chair in the corner. She had decided to get dressed since it was clear she was not going to get any more sleep this morning.
“You cannot speak to me that way,” he snapped, his dark brows drawn together in aggravation.
“Actually, I can. I do not know what it is like in Kustium, but here we have freedom of speech,” she said, pulling a pair of shorts out from her suitcase.
“I liked you better yesterday,” he growled.
“Well, I liked you better yesterday, too, before I realized you were just an insensitive prick.”
“Insensitive?” He repeated questioningly. His tone was telling her that he honestly had no idea what she was talking about.
Furious, Kinsley spun on her heels to face him, her rage flashing in her eyes. “Yes, insensitive!” She snapped. “I get that this thing between us is a business arraignment, but you knew last night was my first time, and you made it cheap and meaningless. First, you would not kiss me, and you called me a whore. Then it is not over two seconds, and you just leave me without a single word. Like I was nothing. You turned what should have been a wonderful experience and made it as cold and impersonal. For the rest of my life, that will be the memory I have. I am not asking for flowers and a confession of love, but a little consideration and sensitivity would have been nice. But you are nothing but a self-centred, insensitive jerk,” she shouted at him. With nothing more to say, she turned, giving Nicholas her back so he could not see the tears welling up in her eyes. She closed her eyes tight telling herself not to cry.
The room was silent. Neither of them spoke or moved. She kept hoping he would just leave, but when she finally heard footsteps, it was Nicholas moving closer to her. She could feel his large body behind her, and then she felt his hands touch both her biceps and gently rub her arms as if trying to soothe her.
“Kinsley, I am sorry. You are right. I should have handled last night differently. I was not thinking past getting what I wanted. It was selfish, inconsiderate, and insensitive. I am truly sorry that I made you feel cheap. A lifetime of selfish living has left me thoughtless. I know we have a business arraignment, but I wish for you to know how much I appreciate you agreeing to this. You were kind enough to give me something I have never had and should show more appreciation. If you can forgive me, I promise to show more consideration in the future.”
Kinsley shrugged off his apology and walked back to the bed, her back still to him. She said nothing as she felt Nicholas follow her. “Kinsley, talk to me,” Nicholas took her by the shoulders and forcefully turned her around so she was facing him. “What do I have to do to make you smile at me again? Must I beg?” She said nothing. “Alright,” Kinsley watched as Nicholas got down on his knees in front of her. He gazed up at her with those incredible smoky eyes and a smile curving his lips. “I am on my knees. You have a prince on his knees, begging for your smile.”
She stared down at him, trying hard not to grin. She wanted to be mad at him.
“Tell me what to do,” he said in that sultry drawl. “You want my kiss, you said,” his hand gripped her hips. “So be it,” he whispered as his lips grazed over her lower abdomen pressing feather light kisses against her skin. The feel of his lips was thrilling.
His fingers hooked in the sides of her panties, and he slowly pulled them down her slender legs, letting them fall to the floor. Nicholas' mouth found her sex, and Kinsley’s legs felt weak. Her hands braced against his broad shoulders was the only thing keeping her on her feet, and his mouth kissed and
licked at her soft folds making her wet with need. His teeth nibbled over the sensitive swollen bud of her sex before sucking it into his hot both. His fingers pushed into her slick passage.
Kinsley’s grip on his shoulders tightened, and she could feel her legs tremble as Nicholas brought her to climax with his mouth and hands. She was so close, and when his tongue licked her cleft, then pushed inside her hold on, reality shattered, and she came hard. Her body shook, and she moaned his name as her fingers dug into his flesh, but he did not stop. His tongue and lips worshiped her sex, and her orgasm intensified.
Suddenly Nicholas shot to his feet and lifted Kinsley off her feet. They fell into bed together with Nicholas on top. He reached down and unzipped his pants, pushing them down just enough to be out of his way. Then he drove his hardness into her, sinking to the hilt on entry, making Kinsley cum again. Her sex clenching tight around him. “Oh Christ, Knisley, you feel so fucking good,” he groaned as he started to move with long deep eager thrusts.
Kinsley’s hands clutched at the sheets as Nicholas drove into her over and over. His mouth moved over her neck as his hand slipped under her top, cupping her breast. He pushed her top up, and his mouth closed around her nipple and sucked hard, sending a spike of delicious sensation to her core.
It was a rough, primal coupling, and Kinsley was lost to the moment. The whole world had disappeared, and all that was left was the blissful sensation. She could fight the climax that washed over her once more, and this time even Nicholas found his release as his back arched and his face twisted with pleasure. He groaned loudly as his body trembled.
When the moment was over, Nicholas rolled off her and lay on the bed next to Kinsley. He took a moment to collect himself, and then he got out of bed and fixed his pants, setting himself right. Kinsley stood up and went into the washroom to clean up. Once she was done, she pulled on a pair of shorts and a proper shirt. Returning to the room, she expected to find herself alone, but instead, she found Nicholas sitting in the chair in the corner.
She had expected him to abandon her again, but he had not. He smiled at her, and she felt her cheeks blush. “I trust I have redeemed myself,” he said with a crooked grin.
Kinsley offered him a playful smile. “I can be persuaded to forgive you.”
Nicholas rose to his feet. “Well, then how about breakfast?”
“I could eat. How about you?” She asked as he came to stand right next to her.
“I just did,” he said suggestively, and she blushed, turning her eyes down. Nicholas leaned in and whispered in her ear. “You are my favourite treat. I can get used to the way you taste,” he then stood up and caught her chin between his fingers, turning her face up so she was looking at him. “Come on, let's get you fed. Do not want you fainting from starvation.”
