Love Of Wind And Clouds

Chapter 8

After Mina finished speaking, she quickly went into the room.

Paul was sure that his boss and that girl had been cursed. His boss chased her for several days but in the end he could not meet her.

Paul pursed his lips and walked back up to the eighth floor. He almost walked into the deputy general director’s office by mistake, but fortunately, after knocking twice, he discovered it so he passed by.

Inside the room, Lyle was attentively editing the photos and then emailing them to Rosalind, so he didn’t notice any noise outside. He silently praised Stephen’s skills.

After sending the email, he took out his phone and dialed the number to call her.

“Rosalind, I just sent you the photos, do you think they satisfy you?”

“I’m looking at them, they’re so beautiful. That new photographer doesn’t seem bad.”

“He is the deputy general director of Global Group, his name is Stephen.”

“You said Stephen was that person?”

“Uh. Then I will proceed with posting.”

“Yes.”

Rosalind put the phone on the table and stared into space for a long time. If Stephen’s father hadn’t helped the Southern company in the past, perhaps she would have been Dylan’s legal wife by now.

The last day of the working week at Global Group is always busier than any other day. Nancy had just finished editing the script when she received a phone call from Lyle calling her to his office.

The big bosses were all on the highest floors and she only knew he was on the eighth floor, not which room he was in.

Nancy looked up as she walked. She saw two deputy general manager’s rooms next to each other, one was Stephen’s room, and the other was Lyle’s room.

She raised her hand to knock when the door suddenly opened, making her startled. In front of her was a tall man with light brown hair and bright eyes with a smile. He looks a lot like the male protagonist in a romantic billionaire movie.

“Please come in here.”

Lyle’s voice made Nancy quickly regain her composure. She even thought she was in the wrong room. So, she quickly slipped through the gap and went straight inside.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Lyle pointed to the sofa and told her to sit and then walked away from the desk. Seeing Stephen still standing there, he squinted his eyes and asked.

“Haven’t you left yet?”

“Go now, leave now.”

Stephen shrugged and jumped out of the room. However, he did not leave but just stood outside the door.

Lyle took the stack of documents and gave them to Nancy.

“I thought you’d go back to work early next week, why so urgent?”

“Because I came back early, I went to the company.”

“Wynn is about to release his debut MV. The script will follow the direction of a sad love story. Please help him write it. Here is the list of songs.”

“When does it start?”

“Next month. Is there enough time for you to do it?”

“Yes, you can rest assured. Ah, the person who walked out of your room just now is also the boss? He’s on the eighth floor.”

“Yes, he is Stephen, deputy general director, and project director.”

Nancy nodded slightly. She had heard of him for a long time, but now she met him face to face.

After bowing to Lyle, she quickly walked out. Just as she turned around to close the door, she ran into Stephen again. Before, she didn’t know his identity, but now she knew, so she bowed politely.

When Stephen saw the petite girl with the lovely round face, he seemed to be spellbound and kept looking at her.

She greeted him without hearing his response so she walked past him.

Suddenly a voice called out from behind her.

“Hey, what’s your name?”

“My name is Nancy.” Nancy turned her head and calmly responded.

“Selena?”

“No, Nancy.”

“Are you free tonight? Let’s go have dinner together.” Stephen smiled, quickly walked to her side and flirted.

“Deputy general manager, do you have a fever?” She widened her eyes in surprise.

“Why are you asking that?” Stephen raised his hand to touch his forehead. He felt that it was not hot.

“Do you and I know each other?”

“Now we know each other. My first impression of you was very good, I liked you already. Please agree.”

“No, I’m busy, goodbye.”

After saying that, she turned around and left.

Suddenly she encountered a perverted boss, like a handsome, rich man passing by Cinderella with a dirty face and falling in love. And the next day, he would bring a palanquin to take her back to his house.

Although Nancy loves to write novels, she has never written this kind of love on paper.

The male and female protagonists under her pen have to go through many ups and downs, joys, anger, and sorrows before gradually developing feelings, not like buying fish.

Stephen looked at her back and laughed. He couldn’t imagine that he had just been rejected. After all, this was the first time he flirted with an employee since joining Global Group.

He secretly thought that maybe because he worked too much, his handsomeness had decreased. So he decided that tomorrow he would go and rejuvenate his appearance.

The later in the afternoon, the colder it became. It was only five o’clock in the afternoon but it looked dark and there were scattered lights on both sides of the road. The car carrying Dylan sped out of the gate.

Seeing the girl standing alone at the bus stop, her figure familiar, he urgently urged Paul.

“Stop the car quickly.”

The assistant quickly pulled the car over to the side of the road. Before he could understand anything, Dylan pointed his hand behind him.

“Didn’t you say she asked for leave for the rest of the week?”

Paul looked at his boss’s finger, his face now becoming stupid. Mina told Lyle to allow Nancy to take the rest of the week off, so why is she here now, wearing the company uniform?

Before he could answer, Dylan opened the car door and jumped out.
