“Seriously?
Isabelle advised, “Be careful. If he’s causing trouble again, who knows what he might do? He’s such a scumbag! You need to protect yourself. Why don’t you move in with me?”
“It’s fine. I don’t think he’s that crazy.” Still, Shelmaine felt more worried and uneasy about Natasha.
wrong!
“If they find out that you’re pregnant, Natasha will be the first to cause trouble for you. We need to be extra cautious. Nothing must go
“Yeah, you’re right.” Samuel disliked children, and if he knew that she was carrying his child, he wouldn’t let her off so easily. So, Shelmaine couldn’t afford any risks or mistakes. isabelle offered, saying, “I’ll go with you to your next check–up,”
“Okay,” Shelmaine replied. She was in the early stages of pregnancy and was due for another hospital visit next week.
After accepting Isabelle’s offer, Shelmaine noticed that Isabelle seemed to be hesitating about something. It was as if she were trying to say something but was struggling to find the right words.
Shelmaine noticed this and asked, “What’s wrong
Isabelle finally said, “There’s something else I haven’t told you Actually, Samuel was just joking when he mentioned marrying you that night during his reception. He wasn’t serious about it. His friends all heard it.”

Ultimately, letting go was also a way of freeing herself
“You really have a good temper. It drives me crazy! Bad deeds come with consequences, and Natasha will definitely get what’s coming to her. Samuel too–he’ll tace retribution.” Shelmaine comforted Isabelle in return, “It’s okay. Let’s not divell on unhappy things.”
“Alright. I won’t disturb your rest any longer.”
“Good night.”
