Loved You Once But He's My Forever (Chloe)

In the dimly lit stone chamber, Anna carefully applied ointment to Taylor's wounds.

She didn't fully grasp the events, but she could tell that his injuries had something to do with her. He had suffered to protect her.

Here, aside from Taylor and Yael, everyone else bore ill intentions toward her.

What she had witnessed that night was real. There was a possibility that she might never go home again!

But when Taylor said he'd take her out, Anna felt nervous instead.

She hugged his arm. "Taylor, you're the best."

He took her to the surface, to her siblings' school.

She saw Chloe's downcast face, no longer the warm and gentle person she remembered.

"Chloe!"

Anna called out, but Taylor swiftly covered her mouth.

Even though her voice was muffled by the soundproofed glass, Chloe seemed to sense it and looked toward the car.

Anna struggled to break free, wanting to tell him that was her sister, her beloved Chloe!

Chloe, with her backpack, walked closer to the car. The nearer she got, the more Anna struggled.

Desperate to reach her sister, Anna bit down hard on Taylor's hand.

Despite the blood she tasted, he didn't let go!

Chloe, look at me. I'm right here.

Chloe stopped by the car, turning to look at the window.

The black tinted windows hid Anna from sight. A single pane of glass separated them.

Anna's lips remained clamped by Taylor's hand, tears streaming down her face, splashing onto his hand.

Taylor whispered in her ear, "Be good, don't make a sound."

Chloe saw nothing. She didn't understand why she turned to look back.

For a second, she thought she heard Anna's voice.

Anna, please come back soon, okay?

With a silent sigh, Chloe turned and got into a car waiting for her a short distance away.

Only after the car drove away did Taylor release a tear-streaked Anna.

Anna cried out, her voice hoarse, "Chloe, don't go! Take me with you!"

"Anna!"

She slapped him hard. "You're all bad people! Why are you doing this

to me? I want Chloe. I want to home.

Taylor sighed. "I'm sorry, I lied to you. You can't go home."

"What do you mean I can't go home?"

"You'll find out soon."

She didn't realize that Taylor had taken her to see Chloe because it would be a long time before she'd get another chance.

Since she was just a child, after her outburst, she eventually fell asleep again.

From car to helicopter, Anna was on the move continuously.

From dawn to dusk, and then dawn again.

Taylor woke her up, "Anna, eat something."

She was still sulking, refusing to acknowledge him.

"I'm not hungry!"

Her stomach growled loudly, betraying her.

"Come on, don't be stubborn. Eat so you have the strength to stay alive."

He was desperate to teach her survival skills as quickly as possible.

But she was too young and fragile, making it hard for him to be tough on her.

If this went on, Anna would be the one to suffer.

"What do you mean?"

Taylor's gentle demeanor turned

stern. "If you don't want to live, I can send you to die. A lot of people would love to use a girl like you to make human dolls, displaying you like a specimen. You'd never see your family again."

Anna was startled. "You're lying!"

"Lying? Didn't you see those people on the operating table? Those were people with their organs harvested."

He leaned closer. "Organs means the parts inside you, like your heart, kidneys, eyes. They can take them out and sell them."

With every body part he named, Anna covered it, feeling pain everywhere.

Terrified, tears blurred her vision, and she clung to his clothes. "Taylor, I know you're good. You'll protect me."

Arriving at Snake Island, Anna had just gotten off the boat when seasickness made her vomit up what little she had eaten.

Barely able to recover, she took a few steps and saw the dense swarm of snakes in the forest.

"Ah! Snakes!"

Taylor stood in front of the snake swarm, one hand in his pocket, the other extended toward Anna. His voice was icy as he said, "Anna, welcome to my world."
