Love’s Final Reveal

Chapter 30

The beach, which had been empty before, suddenly had a yacht anchored there.

A few men dressed in black stood at the shore. Upon seeing Dominick carrying Lola, they all nodded respectfully. “Mr. Sinclair”

He nodded coolly and boarded the yacht with Lola in his arms.

She frowned slightly as she looked at the yacht, then glanced at the villa getting farther and farther away, a suspicion taking root in her mind. Observing the seven or eight men in black following them onto the yacht, Lola asked Dominick coldly, “Are you taking me away?”

Just as Dominick was about to reply, Lola scoffed disdainfully, “Dominick, you’re truly shameless!” Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Hm?” Dominick was puzzled and looked down at her.

Lola stared at him and said coldly, “You gave me the phone so I could contact Ethan, and now you’re taking me away. So, even if Ethan found this island, he would find it deserted. You planned this just to send him on a wild goose chase.”

She thought, “I was wondering why Dominick would be so kind as to give me a phone. Now I get it. Even though I dropped the phone into the soup bowl, he still figured out that I had contacted Ethan. But just as Lola finished her thoughts, she heard Dominick’s questioning voice. “Did you contact Ethan?“:

Dominick looked down at Lola in his arms, displeased, as if he wanted to say something, but ultimately, he remained silent.

Soon after, the yacht set off and gradually let the island.

Lola sat on the sofa in the lounge and observed her surroundings, calculating her chances of escape.

She pondered, ‘After so many days have passed without Ethan coming to find me, it indicates that this island is truly secluded. Even the Lewis family can’t find it. Now that I’ve finally managed to contact Ethan, Dominick is taking me away from the island. It will be even harder for Ethan to find me!

As Lola was strategizing her escape, she saw Dominick approaching with a thin blanket and a pair of sandals.

She looked at Dominick and asked coldly, “What exactly are you playing at, Mr. Sinclair?”

“What do you think?” He replied with a smile as he draped the blanket around Lola. Afterward, he crouched down and began to put the sandals on her

fert.

The craftsmanship of the sandals was exquisite, with a distinct ethic style. The sandals were adorned with scattered cherry blossom petals, with two dried pink cherry blossoms placed at the top, giving them a sweet and adorable appearance. Lola’s gaze slowly moved away from the sandals, burning to the fruit knife inside the fruit basket on the table.

Both of Lola’s feet were wrapped in thin layers of gauze, showing traces of blood seeping through

Dominick frowned at the sight, stood up, and went to fetch the first aid kit. Afterward, he crouched down in front of her again and carefully unwrapped. the gauze from her feet.

Lola’s feet were delicate and smooth, but the tiny wounds scattered across them marred their beauty. Dominick carefully cleaned the wounds using a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. Unexpectedly, the next moment, a fruit knife gleaming with cold light was pressed against his neck

“Turn the yacht around!” she commanded coldly.

At that moment, Dominick was crouching while Lola was sitting on the sofa, her right hand holding a knile against his throat

The men in black standing outside paused briefly after witnessing Lola suddenly taking Dominick hostage. However, they quickly looked away and acted as if nothing had happened at all

Dominick paused only briefly before continuing to tend to the wounds on Lola’s feet. He seemed unfazed by the knife at his throat, and be even lagred forward slightly, bringing his throat close to the blade.

“Dominick, don’t think I won’t dare to kill you!” Lola spoke coldly. As she recalled the events two years ago, a hint of hatred flashed in her eyes, and the knife grazed Dominick’s neck.

As she moved, a cut instantly appeared on Dominick’s neck, with blood instantly gushing out and streaming down his throat. In an instant, it stained his pristine collar red. Even the gauze Dominick was about to use for dressing Lola’s wounds was splattered with a few drops of his blood.

After glancing att

the gaure

In his hand, he tossed it aside and grabbed a fresh piece, carefully wrapping it around Lola’s foot.

Once he had finished dressing the wound and put on the sandals for Lola, Dominick looked up and smiled faintly, “What wouldn’t my dear Lola dare to do?”

With that, he ignored the fruit knife at his throat, stood up, picked up the used gauze and medical kit, and walked inside.

Just then, the bloodied fruit knife fell to the ground with a clattering sound.

Tears rolled down Lola’s cheek as she looked up at Dominick, who was walking away and said deliberately, “Dominick, that rainy night two years ago was colder than any other. The night was pitch dark, the rain was red, and the wind was painful.”

Upon hearing that, he stopped in his tracks, his tall figure looking somewhat forlorn.

Lola wiped the tears from her face and looked toward Dominick, who was not far away. She exclaimed, “Let me go!

“I didn’t come back this time with Ethan to target the Sinclair Group or the Moore Group, I swear, as soon as I leave, Ethan will definitely stop attacking the Moore Group. We won’t stay long. Three months from now, we’ll leave, and we’ll never return to Talondria again.”

“Impossible!” Dominick’s voice was hoarse as he spoke with his back to Lola.

He continued, “Lola, I didn’t come to get you two ye

years ago, but this time, no matter where you are, I will bring you back to me!”

After saying that, Dominick quickly left the lounge as if fearing Lola would say something more hurtful

The yacht continued to sail on the sea, with the sea breeze blowing in through the door, carrying a slight chill.

Lola curled up on the sofa. After looking at the bandage on her foot for a long time, she turned her gaze to the blood–stained knife on the floor. The blood had dried to a dark red, appearing somewhat eerie, and Lola could faintly smell the metallic scent of blood in the air.

She kept asking herself if she really could have gone through with it.

The answer was no

Just like that shot at Royal Haven, Lola could have ended it with one shot, but in the end, she instinctively missed the vital spot.

“Lola, since Jessie lost her child, you can compensate her with yours!”

The chilling words echoed in Lola’s mind like a curse. She curled up on the sola and began to cry.

That night was pitch black, the raindrops heavy and painful as they hit her. The blood–red rainwater slowly flowed away from her, not only carrying away her child but also extinguishing the faint light in her life. The cold rainwater brought unbearable pain, so much so that even her breath carried a sense of

agony.

“It wasn’t me… It wasn’t me
