Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 1589 : Charles White’s old love

The half-hour-long fireworks show ended at 7:00 pm.

On the way back, Blanca Roach slept peacefully and soundly, and her face was so beautiful that Matthew Grant took off his clothes to cover her.

The motorcycle fireworks were indeed an impromptu event today, but the fireworks were not.

Matthew Grant had prepared them two weeks earlier, but it took time to customize the ones with their names on them.

In this lustful world, to find a moment of peace and comfort for her, is what Matthew Grant has been doing.

It takes thousands of lies to tell a lie, and Charles White was prepared.

Winnie successfully found out through Fredrick, Charles White’s fictitious old love – Margarita.

When she saw the photo, Winnie was indeed a little shocked that there could be someone so similar to her in the world that people might believe twins.

This is definitely a convenient way for Winnie to break Charles White.

But I never thought this “double” thing would fall into her lap one day, too much of a coincidence.

The next day, Winnie took a day off from work with Blanca Roach, saying she would hurry to finish the dress afterwards, and went to the hospital.

Goss was there when she arrived, and instead of showing any surprise when she saw Winnie, she made an excuse and hurried out.

Charles White had just finished changing his medication and was working on his computer with a table on his hospital bed.

When he saw Winnie coming, he nodded slightly at her and then quickly cut off the voice call with the opposite side.

“You’re not at work?”

“Took a leave of absence, how can I leave you here all alone and miserable.”

Winnie sat down casually, she wore a long blue and white striped shirt that reached her knees today, with a near-colored silk scarf tied around her collar and a pair of white sneakers to match.

It was a look she had seen in Margarita’s photos, roughly similar, and wondered if it would awaken Charles White’s guilt and love for that girl.

It was just that Winnie saw no emotional ups and downs in Charles White and thought he was hiding it too well.

“It’s okay, working in the office is also a person, I can totally use the ward as an office.” Charles White picked up his glass of water and drank from it, looking at Winnie as if he had a glance, his eyes deep.

Winnie tugged on the hem of her skirt and lightly lifted her legs, the tips of her shoes touching each other, “I think you treat me a little differently.”

Charles White lost his smile, put down his glass of water, and looked at Winnie again with his eyes back to normal: “Who can guarantee to treat everyone the same?”

“But you can’t put eyes on me that should be on another person, as if I were her, when I don’t mean much in my own right, and that’s unfair.”

Winnie finished and smiled bitterly, “I feel like I had it coming when I was misunderstood by Blanca, but if I take the blame for this unclear relationship, I don’t want to.”

“It’s not your fault.” Charles White looked far out the window, and a great sadness hung around him.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

Winnie followed his gaze, “If I wasn’t like her, would you still be special to me?”

“No.” Charles White was sentimental, but the answer was sure.

Winnie nodded, weighing what she should say; saying the wrong thing could bring their newly established relationship crashing down.

She smiled cheerfully, “It’s okay, it doesn’t matter who you think I am, I’ll lend you this face to remember her, as a reward for saving my life yesterday.”

Charles White looked back at her, slightly stunned: “I thought you would be furious and never deal with me again.”
