My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

Chapter 649

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Chaos erupted in the Langley family villa's hall.

More than a dozen fighters moved to attack Dustin, but Drake stepped in to block

their way.

Initially, they did not take him seriously and sent two men to deal with him.

That decision quickly backfired.

Drake moved like a phantom, and those fighters could not even see how he struck.

"Argh..."

Cries of pain echoed one after another as the Clarke family's fighters collapsed and writhed in agony.

In less than thirty seconds, no one was left standing.

"What?!"

Hayden could no longer maintain his composure. The teacup in his hand slipped onto the floor.

His face contorted in shock and fury as he watched his men fall one by one. They had all been defeated in the blink of an eye.

He scrutinized Drake and Dustin with a grave face.

Only then did he understand why his son had failed.

"Who exactly are you?" Hayden asked as his sharp eyes locked onto Drake.

"With your skills, why would you follow a weakling like Dustin? Is he even worth your loyalty?"

"If you join me, the Clarke family will offer triple of whatever he's paying you, along with far superior conditions than what he has offered."

Drake sneered in disdain.

"The likes of the Clarke family aren't qualified to negotiate with me.

"As for why I serve My Liege, someone with your mortal perspective could never comprehend."

Drake's biting mockery darkened Hayden's expression.

The proud Clarke family patriarch was willing to extend such a generous offer, only to be blatantly looked down upon by Drake.

The humiliation made his blood boil.

The Langley family members understood his pain all too well.

They had once tried to win Drake over, only to be met with the same scorn.

They, too, could not fathom why someone as powerful as Drake would willingly serve Dustin and obey him without question.noveldrama

"Dustin... I underestimated you." Hayden narrowed his eyes as he looked at Dustin.

"But if you think having a strong bodyguard means you can challenge an elite family, you're laughably naive!"

"Calling the Clarke family an 'elite family'? You flatter yourself," Dustin said as though it was a joke.

The Clarke family could not even compare to the family he had easily destroyed. Where did Hayden's confidence come from?

Even if the Clarke family truly were an elite family, what did Dustin have to fear?

"You're underestimating the Clarke family?" Hayden's eyes widened in fury as his anger grew.

"Indeed, I am. What will you do about it?" Dustin countered with a tone as dismissive as ever.

"Hmph!"

Hayden slammed the armrest of his chair and broke it in a burst of rage.

The Langley family members flinched at the sound.

But Dustin remained unfazed.

"You insolent fool! You sent my son to the prison at the Governor's office. Do you realize the consequences of provoking the

Clarke family?" Hayden roared.

"Your son poisoned innocent people and sending him to face justice was the right thing to do," Dustin said.

"If the Clarke family is so capable, why

Come and his release from the Governor's office? Insteade met

come barking at me..."

The Clarke family would not dare offend the Governor, so they targeted Dustin instead.

It was a mistake they would soon regret.

"You... insolent fool!" Hayden sputtered as his anger reached a breaking point.

Dustin was right. He did not dare to confront the Governor. That would be suicidal.

Few in Hattan dared to challenge the Governor.

"Fine! Maybe the Clarke family can't challenge the Governor, but we're more than capable of dealing with

you! Hayden stood up and pointed at Dustin in rage.

“As head of the Clarke family, I vow to make you pay dearly at all costs!”
