Chapter 266 Incessant Occurrences
Although Andy had said so, he didn't knock Lance out.
Lance had learned from the previous experience in the warehouse, so he knew Andy was not joking.
Therefore, he chose to lean against the car door and shut up, but when Andy occasionally glanced at
him, he showed him a flattering smile.
When the car arrived at the airport, Andy untied Lance's hands and said with a blank face, "Don't make
trouble." NôvelDrama.Org: text © owner.
Lance grinned, "Andy, I don't have the guts to make trouble."
Andy kept silent.
Lance added, "Because I'm afraid you'll knock me out."
Andy shot a fierce glance at him and said, "If you make trouble here, I won't knock you out."
Lance asked with excitement flashing in his eyes, "Really?"
Andy said coldly, "Yes. I will kill you instead of knocking you out."
Lance thought he shouldn't have asked the question.
In the airport, Colin and Abbot walked in front, while Andy and Lance followed behind.
Andy was always on guard for fear that Lance would make trouble, but the latter had been very
obedient. However, when they walked past a convenience store, he asked, "Andy, can you buy me
some bread?"
Andy replied, "I have some bullets. Do you want to eat them?"
Lance said, "No, thanks."
It would take four and a half hours to fly from Bristol to Cocanel.
After boarding the plane, Abbot called one of his subordinates at the wharf and told him to pick up the
car at the airport. Then, he switched his phone to airplane mode and smiled at Colin, "This time, things
went surprisingly smoothly!"
Colin was taking a nap with his eyes closed, so he didn't reply.
Abbot nudged him with his elbow and asked. "Colin, are you asleep?"
Colin replied in a low voice, "I need to reserve my strength."
Abbot asked, "Why?"
Colin's eyes opened into slits when he answered, "Single men won't understand."
Abbot suddenly realized what he meant, so he gritted his teeth and said, "You are shameless."
It was two o'clock in the afternoon when the plane landed in Cocanel.
While Andy took Lance to the parking lot to pick up the car, Colin and Abbot waited on the steps
outside the airport.
About ten minutes later, when Andy drove the car over, then they got into the car together.
On the way back, Colin and Abbot had a casual chat.
When they talked about the resort project that Abbot had invested in a while ago, Colin asked with a
smile, "Has Rebecca invested?"
Abbot stammered with an unnatural expression, "Yes, she has."
He was afraid Colin would misunderstand, so he hurriedly added, "I feel pity for her, but I can't accept
her affection for me or date her, so I decided to make it up for her by allowing her to make money."
Hearing this, Colin nodded with a smirk.
Seeing his lazy smirk, Abbot instantly got a little anxious, so he said, "Colin, you don't believe my
words, do you?"
Colin chuckled, "I believe you! Why do you think I don't believe your words?"
Abbot pouted, "My relationship with her is not what you think. I'm just..."
Before he could finish speaking, Andy suddenly interrupted, "Mr. Farrell, a van is following us."
Hearing this, Colin and Abbot stopped smiling at the same time.
Abbot frowned, while Colin asked in a deep voice, "What kind of van?"
Andy replied, "It's a commercial van with seven seats."
Colin turned his head to glance in the rearview mirror of the car and said calmly, "Go to a remote
place."
Andy replied, "They may have reinforcements. If we drive to a remote place, we might get in trouble."
Colin showed a gloomy look and said with fierceness in his eyes, "If we don't wipe them out, they will
follow us home."
Andy understood what he meant, so he turned the steering wheel, got off the expressway, and drove to
a sparsely populated place.
When their car got farther and farther away from the downtown, four commercial vans merged from
different sections to the main road as Andy had expected, and then the vans closely followed them.
Abbot said, "Four vans. If there are seven people in each van, there are twenty-eight people in total."
He muttered an obscenity and continued, "There are only four of us, and one is an enemy."
Hearing this, Lance hurriedly said, "Mr. Carter, you don't have to treat me as a person. If you don't trust
me, please let Andy tie me up. If you're still worried, you can knock me out."
Lance's attitude was very friendly and good.
Abbot glanced at him and mocked, "You know when to eat humble pie and when to hold your head
high."
Lance smiled, "I can do anything to survive."
When they were talking, Andy swung the car into an alley, looked at Colin in the rearview mirror, and
said, "Mr. Farrell, they must have weapons, so they won't fight us for a long time. In a short time, I can
knock down at most seven people. How about you?"
Colin said in a lazy voice proudly, "Ten."
