My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul

Richest Mogul 1227

In this situation, it was hard to imagine the conditions they were facing now. Both Jeremy and Skylar were acutely aware of the gravity of the situation.

After a brief moment of hope, Skylar's anxiety returned. “Their situation must be dire. We need to find them as quickly as possible."

Jeremy nodded. "I will ensure that happens. You can trust me."

"Could they still be in Murida? I have two trusted friends there who could help find them. If there's any information on their whereabouts, please let me know immediately," Skylar said, her tone firm.

"Understood."

Skylar glanced back at the photo. There wasn't much information to gather from it. The surroundings had few recognizable landmarks.

"Joe, I know you're alive. You have to be!" she thought, her heart pounding with determination.

A few minutes later, just as Skylar was about to leave, Jeremy called out to her. "Wait." Skylar stopped at the door and turned back to Jeremy. "Is there anything else?"

"Does Nath... like Austin?" Jeremy asked.

Over the past three years, he had hardly bothered Natalie. However, he was well aware of her endeavors. She had opened a café she loved and had expanded into several franchises.

Meanwhile, Austin had left the entertainment industry and moved away from Jipsburg years

ago.

He had hoped that time would heal everything, allowing Natalie to find peace so they could plan their future together. But now, Austin was back, and he was filming at Natalie's café.

Skylar looked at Jeremy in disbelief. "Haven't you moved on from Nath yet?"

Some things, once they happened, were impossible to forget. Natalie had a strong sense of emotional integrity and couldn't accept infidelity in a relationship.

Even though Jeremy felt wronged, Skylar believed that when he faced the temptations from Annabelle, he had moments where he could have calmed down and corrected his mistakes, but he failed to do so in time.

If he hadn't wavered at the beginning, he wouldn't have been easily swayed by Annabelle's negative items.

Jeremy's face grew pale at the thought.

"It's hard to let go," Jeremy said with a mix of amusement and exasperation.

"Mr. Hughes, you should look forward. You know Natalie better than I do," Skylar advised kindly.

Jeremy paused, momentarily taken aback. Then, after a moment of contemplation, he replied, "You're right. I do know her better."

That understanding was precisely why he was in so much pain and unable to move on. As for whether Natalie had feelings for Austin, that seemed less important now.

Skylar noticed Jeremy's torment and felt at a loss for how to comfort him. She knew he had heard all the advice before, and nothing she could say would change his mind.

"I should take a step forward too," Jeremy stated

It was time for him to consider marriage and starting a family to bring stability to the Hughes family.

After leaving Hughes Group, Skylar remained silent as they headed to the car. She appeared deep in thought, carrying a heavy heart.

Natalie didn't dare interrupt her. Earlier, Jeremy must have said something to Skylar. Otherwise, she wouldn't be looking so lost and troubled right

now.

Natalie couldn't shake off her concern. After thinking it over, she couldn't help but pull out her phone to send Jeremy a WhatsApp message, demanding an explanation.
