Chapter 107 A Conclusive Concussion
The sound of a loud bang startled the occupants of the lounge.
Those who were gathered around Andreas to look at Cannon’s photos turned as one to the door and
saw a young man with a slight and unassuming stature clad in simple clothes walking in.
“Who the hell are you?” one of the burly men yelled angrily. “How dare you come to our casino and
cause trouble? Do you have a death wish?”
“I’m Christopher. Christopher Yaeger,” Christopher said calmly.
The gang was stunned for a moment at the mention of his name despite hearing it from Cannon earlier.
Distracted by the photos, they did not take him seriously then.
“Who the hell is Christopher?” Andreas asked with disdain. “I’ve never heard of him.”
“Christopher? Andreas, he is the husband of the woman in this photo!” Cannon cried at once with a
wicked chuckle.
“Oh, how unexpected and kind for you to show up!” Andreas motioned Christopher over with a finger.
“You are the son-in-law of the Murray family!”
“That’s right.”
Christopher slowly walked toward Andreas. Although he was expressionless, a wave of murderous
intent was already surging in his heart.
“You have spared me the trouble of retrieving you, Christopher,” Andreas said with a sneer when
Christopher arrived before him. “Work for me, and I’ll waive the protection fee on your company.
However, your wife will be on loan whenever I—”
Before Andreas could complete his sentence, Christopher kicked him so hard that he fell from his chair
with a crash.
The reverberation of his head bouncing off the floor made his men around him shudder violently.
Andreas is going to have a concussion at the very least!
“Something about a loan, Andreas?” Christopher smiled coldly.
“Ah!” Christopher’s blow was so severe that Andreas’ entire body fell limp from the pain. It was
something he had never experienced before. Writhing in agony, he clutched his head and howled with
a quavering voice, “Kill him!”
However, his men were too dumbstruck to move.
It never occurred to them that their visitor would dare lay a finger on Andreas.
Is he crazy? Andreas has been a big shot in the underworld in Jadeborough for many years! How many
of those who offended him survive?
As Cannon watched Andreas succumbing to Christopher’s attack, he realized the opportunity to gain
favor with Andreas.
Flaring up with a roar of rage, he rushed toward Christopher after snatching up a beer bottle from the
table. “I will kill you for daring to lay a finger on Andreas!” he shouted.
Cannon swung the beer bottle up high as he spoke, aiming for Christopher’s skull.
“Ignorant fool!” Christopher said with a scowl as he dodged the beer bottle at the last second and
caught it with his bare hand.
Before Cannon’s bewildered gaze managed to register what had happened, Christopher spun around
and struck him in the throat with an elbow. He then let Cannon fall to the ground before catching him by
the collar. Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
Christopher was not finished. He grabbed Cannon’s head and smashed it hard against the wall.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Over and over, the crashes sounded until Cannon fell to the ground in a crumpled heap. He did not
move again.
It was a terrifying scene. Although the men were hardened gangsters who had witnessed more than
their fair share of violence, they were struck dumb with fear at that moment. Despite their best efforts,
they could not quell the tremor in their knees.
They had never seen such ferocity in a man.
“Ow!”
Andreas’ scream as he writhed on the floor sent a chill down the spines of his men around him.
“What are you waiting for? Get him together and kill him!” Andreas roared at the sight of Cannon’s
crumpled figure.
Christopher gazed steadily back at them. “Come, if you have a death wish!”
