Naturally, Jasper did not believe a single word she said to him when she was on his lap.

It was only an act she put on after being caught red-handed so that she could make a safe comeback.

Willow was like a prey under his control. There was no point in struggling. In the end, she would still end up being devoured by the beast before her.
