Chapter 27
Chapter 27
After finishing breakfast, Levy inquired if Sandra had any plans for the day. She replied, saying she was
new to the city and didn't have any friends yet. However, she mentioned her intention to visit the mall to
gather some essential items for school as she would be starting classes the following week.
Levy swiftly interjected, suggesting that there was no need for Sandra to go to the mall. He assured her
that he would ask Auntie Zia to take care of getting everything she would require for school. Curiously,
Levy inquired about the course she intended to pursue.
Sandra glanced at Levy, silently questioning how he knew that she was going to university for the first
time. Sensing her confusion, Levy realized he had inadvertently revealed knowledge about her life
without her explicitly sharing it with him. Feeling embarrassed, he confessed, "I asked William to
investigate you. I apologize, but I prefer not being with someone I know nothing about." Sandra simply
smiled and replied, "It's okay." However, deep down, she wondered how Levy would react once he
discovered her true identities. For the first time, she felt a mix of excitement and anticipation at the
prospect of someone knowing who she truly was.
Sandra mustered the courage to ask, "I received my acceptance letter for university yesterday morning.
It's impossible for you to have obtained that information during the investigation. Dear husband, could
you kindly tell me if you were the one behind my acceptance into the university?"
Levy smiled and responded, "As expected of my wife. Yes, I did speak to the principal and request your
acceptance. During my investigation and background check on you, I discovered that there was a force
hindering the university from accepting you. Given our connection, I approached the principal and
asked him to do me this small favor."
Sandra scrutinized Levy's eyes, searching for any signs of deceit. She then said, "Thank you."
However, beneath her expression of gratitude, she cursed him for meddling in her life while
simultaneously appreciating his care and affection.
Feeling deeply touched, Sandra couldn't help but acknowledge that Levy Anthony, despite their
marriage being arranged by his great-grandparents, was truly looking after her. He proved to be an
ideal husband for someone seeking companionship. It was unfortunate that they had to meet under
these circumstances.
Sandra mentioned that since Auntie Zia would assist her with school preparations, she could either
stay home and relax or explore the area to familiarize herself before Levy's family arrived on Sunday.
She reminded him that her own family would also like to meet him on that day.
Leaving the dining area and heading towards their room, Sandra noticed Levy following her. She
paused and turned to face him, questioning his actions. "What is it? Why are you following me?" she
asked.
Levy replied, "Since you want to stay home, I thought I could spend time with you."
Curious, Sandra inquired, "Don't you have things to take care of? You just returned to City A, there
must be plenty of tasks to attend to."
Levy responded, "Those things can wait. I want to keep my wife company." Sandra acquiesced, saying,
"As you wish." They spent the entire day exploring the mansion, with Levy showing her each Anthony
family member's room, the garden, and the swimming pool.
Levy asked Sandra if she knew how to swim, to which she replied, "No." He then offered to teach her.
Sandra was surprised, asking, "You want to teach me how to swim?" Levy explained, "Did you think I
would let some other man come and touch or see my wife under the pretense of teaching her how to
swim? No, it's either I teach you or you forget about learning altogether."
Sandra couldn't help but smile, remarking, "Of all the things I imagined you to be, I never thought you
would be a jealous man, let alone so clingy." Levy replied, "I suppose there is a lot for you to learn
about me, but don't worry, with time, you'll come to understand me better."
Sandra settled onto a bench near the pool, admiring the beautiful flowers while a maid brought them
some snacks. They enjoyed their snacks and engaged in light conversation, with Levy primarily doing
the talking. He shared details about his family, reassuring Sandra not to be afraid of them. "You are free
to do anything you want in this house. It's your home as much as it is theirs," he assured her.
Sandra expressed her gratitude for Levy's concern but assured him that she would be spending most
of her time at school, minimizing the chances of conflicts arising between her and his family. Intrigued
by her statement, Levy immediately asked her to clarify.
Sandra playfully responded, "You know very well that I will be joining the university during their second
semester, thanks to you." They shared a lighthearted laugh before she continued, "I will need to put in
a lot of effort not to disappoint you."
Levy inwardly cursed himself for not anticipating this outcome. He hadn't expected that his decision to
send her back to school would complicate their newly married life. He wanted to get to know her better
and create an ideal environment for them as a married couple, but now it seemed more challenging to
achieve. He pondered for a moment before suggesting, "Can't you work from home?"
Sandra explained, "It's a two to three-hour drive from the Anthony family mansion to City A University,
which means I would arrive when classes have already begun." Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
Realizing the impracticality of the situation, Levy quickly responded, "I have a villa near City A
University. I suppose we can move in when you start classes on Monday. Thank goodness I instructed
William to prepare it as soon as I returned."
His possessiveness overcame him as he made arrangements for them to reside closer to the
university. Levy wanted to ensure that Sandra would be within his reach and that he could keep a
watchful eye on her, even during her educational pursuits.
Then he took out his phone and quietly sent a message to William: Buy a villa in City A University
Annex, the best.
