Chapter 35
"— This search was wrong!" Alice Clyne became anxious, "Why don't you search again?"
"Enough!"
William Cullen's black eyes swept across minuscule thought Ming with a gloomy gaze, his tone sullen and angry, "How long do you want me to listen to your bullshit in the morning? to make breakfast."
"But..."
"No any doubts." William Cullen stood up from the sofa and grabbed her slender arm, pulling her in front of him. He pushed her directly in front of him, causing the thin lip to almost stick to her lips, "Alice Clyne, listen to me, don't talk rubbish with me if you don't have any substantial evidence."
""
"If you're free, how about we do a few live broadcasts?" William Cullen said sinisterly as he bit her lips.
Mad dog.
Alice Clyne frowned in pain, facing the dark light in his eyes, she did not dare say anything else, and said, "Alright, I'll go make breakfast."
In front of William Cullen, she was weak.
"That's more like it."
William Cullen smiled, turned and walked inside, while instructing them, "Daniel Frank, notify them to meet in the main company in two hours to discuss the Longtai takeover, and ask them to send me some useful information, if not all of them will be stir-fried."
"Yes, young master."
Daniel Frank lowered his head, and turned to look at Alice Clyne with some sympathy.
Although the young master was irritable, he had never tried to bite a woman before.
Alice Clyne looked at William Cullen's figure that was getting further and further away, she extended her hand and touched her lips that were hurting, and was a little unwilling, she would definitely find evidence!
She would get rid of him.
After breakfast, William Cullen took his people and left, leaving Alice Clyne alone in the kitchen to wash dishes, as he thought about the incident at Baja cruise three years ago.
As long as they could find the university student, Tang Yi, who worked with her at that time, even if it was a witness, they could prove her innocence.
However, she had left the university with her tail between her legs and had not received any news from her classmates.
How did he find it?
Relying on William Cullen's power? Then how many times would he have to bite her?
What should he do, how could he find this student in university, Tang Yi?
Alice Clyne was so troubled that she could not help but sigh. Her phone suddenly vibrated as she picked up her phone.
"Miss Clyne, there is a porcelain gallery to the south of the small district, please buy dishes. Daniel Frank."
It was Daniel Frank.
Buy a bowl? William Cullen was really picky about the tableware requirements, maintaining a detestable attitude towards the bowls he brought from her house.
So annoying.
Alice Clyne changed into a set of outdoors attire. With a simple and loose white garb, she put on her pants along with her sneakers, tied her long hair up into a ponytail, and left the house.
She took the elevator all the way to the first floor, where the doors opened slowly before her.
In the corridor in front, handsome men and beautiful women walked hand in hand with each other. Their fingers were interlocked as their four eyes met, looking at each other only.
Mary Clyne, Patrick Miller.
Alice Clyne was stunned, her first reaction was to lean against the elevator wall and hide herself. She just didn't know why she had to hide.
Perhaps, deep in her heart, she felt like a clown in front of them.
A clown who had left their world.
"Patrick, if you're busy any longer, I'll also go pick up a movie. We're so busy that we can't even meet again."
Mary Clyne's voice transmitted over, and that iconic childish voice pretended to be angry, but also didn't have any hint of threat.
"How can that be? We're going to get married soon." Patrick Miller doted on her and said, "As long as you and home are here, I will remember to go home every day."
"Really?"
"How could I possibly lie to you?"
The two of them spoke sweet words as they left around a corner. As they did not
enter the elevator, their voices got further and further away.
Alice Clyne was still standing in the elevator, leaning on the cold wall.
She didn't know if it was because she was heavily injured by William Cullen recently, but hearing such sweet words from him, she did not feel any heartache, only numbness.
Patrick Miller had just finished speaking.
So, they lived here, she wasn't mistaken last night, it was really Patrick Miller.
He was the heir to a top-tier cosmetics business, and Mary Clyne was a popular celebrity. It was very suitable for the two of them to place their families in Port of Heaven.
However, she was too much of a bitch. She had actually become part of the same district as them. Furthermore, they were both staying in Building A, so they were not that far from each other.
If they found out that she was here, they would definitely think that she had come to pester them again.
Alice Clyne bit her lips until turned white. After a long time, she stuffed both her hands into the pockets of her clothes and walked out.
It was sunny outside, and beams of light fell on the musical fountain in the district. The water splashed elegantly.
On the way, Alice Clyne had met many important members of the country and two generations of corporate powers. It was as if all of the upper class in society were gathered here.
She quickly found the porcelain gallery.
The interior of the porcelain gallery store was decorated in an artistic manner. On the shelves inside, there were many porcelain wares that looked like art exhibits. Every porcelain set had an introduction in Chinese and English.
William Cullen actually wanted her to come here to buy a bowl for her to eat? This place is clearly a work of art, alright?
"Miss, do you need me to introduce you something? What do you want?" The waitress in a white shirt and black skirt came over and asked with a smile.
"Let me see."
Alice Clyne was a little not confident, she couldn't possibly say that I'm here to buy kitchen bowls.
The waitress introduced her enthusiastically, speaking along with her dressing, "Miss, you seem to be a rather low-key person, why don't you take a look at this set of butterflies and love flowers?"
She was being low key, she was just wearing cheap clothes in Port of Heaven.
Alice Clyne was just about to find an excuse to leave when she heard a disdainful and mocking voice, "I didn't see wrong just now, it really was you. Alice Clyne, I have truly underestimated your ability to continue pestering me."
She raised her eyes, only to see Patrick Miller standing beside a black wooden shelf. His feminine face was expressionless, and his pair of long and narrow eyes were looking at her coldly.
He had seen her in the elevator just now.
Alice Clyne looked at him, her face pale white.
"Mr. Miller."
The waiter recognized Patrick Miller and quickly replied, "We have a resting area here. Why don't you two sit here for a while, I'll bring a cup of coffee for you two."
"Alright."
Patrick Miller said coldly.
Alice Clyne really wanted to turn around and leave just like that, but her feet felt like they were nailed to the ground and couldn't be pulled out no matter how hard
she tried.
Deep within the rows of shelves were resting areas. The two of them sat down at a black wooden table near the French windows.
Once he sat down, Patrick Miller spoke coldly, "How did you get here? You can't afford to rent a house here with your income. You don't seem to have friends who can live here."
His tone towards her was as cold as ice, completely different from his doting tone towards Mary Clyne.
"Don't worry, I didn't follow you in. I won't disturb you." Alice Clyne said indifferently, his face did not have much expression.
The sunlight that shone through the French windows was somewhat dazzling.
The waiter brought out two cups of coffee, a cup of black coffee and a cup of mocha. The waiter placed a cup of mocha in front of Alice Clyne.
Patrick Miller was the one who was afraid of hardship the most.
Black coffee is too bitter.
Alice Clyne pushed Mocha to Patrick Miller, and then took the initiative to bring
the black curry over to him, without hesitation.
It took her two seconds to realize that she wasn't doing well.
She lifted her face and sure enough, Patrick Miller was currently looking at her
with a sneer. His eyes were clearly saying: Alice Clyne, is this what you meant by
not disturbing me?
She had mentioned to him many times before what he liked and didn't like, and she knew him as well as she knew him.
"Conditioned reactions." Alice Clyne explained in a pale voice.
"Heh."
Patrick Miller sneered, his eyes full of ridicule.
Alice Clyne bit her lips, reached out her hand and switched the two cups of coffee.
Then, she drank the Mocha in her cup, as if she wanted to prove something, and drank it all in one go.
Patrick Miller was stunned for a second when he saw her actions.
She seemed really different from before. Before, when she saw him, she would
nag and nag about how much better they used to be.
"It's another strategy of yours. You want to capture him?" Patrick Miller said coldly, "Your tricks are truly brilliant."
That was the only way he could define her behavior.
Alice Clyne's grip on the coffee cup was a little stiff. After a long time, she looked
at Patrick Miller, and for the first time, she no longer tried to see the shadow on his
face.
Their eyes met.
Patrick Miller had a faint feeling that he had lost.
Alice Clyne stood up from the table, "If I say to give up on you, I will give up onnoveldrama
you.
"Okay, then tell me, why did you appear in Port of Heaven?" Patrick Miller said coldly, "You better be able to tell me an answer that has nothing to do with me." Hearing that, Alice Clyne was stunned.
Why did it appear? Because William Cullen had hidden her in a golden room, she had become one of his myriad bed companions, and then obtained a suite.
The answer was simple, but Alice Clyne could not say it. In front of Patrick Miller, she still had some pride.
"It has nothing to do with you." Alice Clyne only had this kind of answer, "I'll be leaving first."
"Alright, I'll listen for now."
Patrick Miller also stood up and stood in front of her, blocking all the sunlight with
his 1.85 meters tall body. He looked at her coldly, "Mary Clyne is pregnant, I will definitely not let her get hurt."
Were the two of them taking turns to announce their love affair in front of her?
Alice Clyne's heart became numb, and she said indifferently, "I will no longer disturb you, and also hope that from today onwards, you all will pretend that you didn't see me, and walk your own path."
He had always said those words, but now he was being rebelled against.
Patrick Miller's feminine face went against the sunlight, his emotions unable to be
distinguished.
"Goodbye."
Alice Clyne said as she walked past him and past the rows of shelves.
Ever since Patrick Miller lost his memories, she rarely left his side with such
dignity.
But apparently, the god didn't want her to have a good ending.
"Bang! Bang!"
A row of wooden shelves suddenly fell down beside her.
The porcelain tools on the wooden frame disintegrated and fell to the ground.
It was like Alice Clyne watching a scene that slowed down. Alice Clyne watched helplessly as the intact porcelain pieces shattered in an instant, revealing pieces that were worth quite a bit of money. The fragments were so white that they were dazzling.
She brought it with one arm.
The wooden frame was too weak to withstand a blow.
What do you think?
