My Lord, My Billionaire Master

Chapter 914

William looked at Alice silently.

The sun shone on the shabby walls. The paintings were blurred by the sunlight. Now they could not recall the past anymore.

It was as if time stood still in silence.

William and Alice faced each other, and both of them remained silent. The little rabbit hopped around Alice's feet.

The silence was suffocating.

Alice couldn't hold on anymore. From the moment William mentioned Patrick, she felt something had happened. But she kept telling herself not to think too much and enjoy everything in the past few days.

But now, she couldn't hold on any longer.

She wanted to tear the fantasy to pieces. She would rather know the truth and get prepared than waiting for the day when they got apart.

"Just tell me. Should I leave you now?"

Alice asked while looking at William. She tried to hold back her tears and make herself sound calm.

William looked down at her and remained silent.

Alice wiped the tears off her face. Her lips were trembling, but she managed a weak smile. "William, say something. I can get prepared well if you tell me now. Aren't you tired of hiding it from me? You can't take all the pressure on yourself."

"I don't want to hear this, especially from you!"

William said in a cold and domineering tone.

Alice looked at him in shock. "William, you...."

Suddenly, William pulled her into his arms. He lowered his head and kissed on her lips, trying to shut her up. Alice wanted to resist, but William moved fast. He held her hands behind her back and forced her to straighten her back so that he could finish the kiss.

Alice struggled uneasily, but William kissed her harder. He did not give her any chance to escape. He kissed her and ignored everything else. He wanted to touch everywhere in her mouth. He almost wanted to gobble her up.

Alice could only saw his long eyelashes and dark eyes.

She could see nothing else.

William hugged her tightly and had been kissing her nonstop. Alice gave up resisting. She closed her eyes and began to enjoy the kiss.

She just wanted to sink into this kiss.

If she could, she wanted to be Alice. Then she could hide in the wonderland and never wake up again.

It seemed to be a decade until William finally let go of Alice. He looked painful, but he hid it well before Alice opened her eyes.

Alice's eyes were flooded with tears.

William looked at her face and said in a deep and booming voice, "Alice! No one wants you to leave me! Don't cry. I hate to see you crying."

Alice looked at William blankly. He still didn't tell the truth.

"Don't look at me like that! I said I won't let you leave! Don't think too much! Do you hear me? " William stared at Alice. "I don't want to hearthat again!"

Alice got confused because William said that firmly and did not felt ashamed at all. "But Lancaster is after you. They will do something to me."

Even David had called to ask if William needed to transfer her to a safer place.

Lancaster was a scheming man. Alice was certain that she would get ganged up on later.

"I can protect you! What are you worried about? " William beat her up about her concerns. He stroked her head. "You're pregnant. Don't be so upset, alright?"

"But...."

"No buts!" William stared at her and frowned. "You just have to remember I'm invincible!"

Alice looked at William in a daze. Now William should have no reason to hide anything from her.

She really didn't know what he was thinking.

"I will stay with you until our child is born. I will get rid of Lancaster. And I will raise Holy and Kathy up with you! I promise you! " William wiped tears off Alice's face. "I will never go back on my words! Otherwise, bad things would happen to me."

"You're not afraid of karma?"

Alice looked at William and asked seriously.

"No."noveldrama

William blurted out. He had never been afraid of that.

"Then it's useless for you to swear like that," Alice said as she bit her lips suspiciously.

"You don't believe me? I'm trying to comfort you!"

William said with dissatisfaction.

"Alright." Alice nodded. She looked at him and frowned. "So, I don't have to leave?"

"No! How many times do I have to say this?"

William frowned more deeply, making deep creases in his brow.

"Then why did you spend so much time and effort doing these things?" Alice doubted him, so she asked.

Things were getting tense, yet he was wasting time on her.

Hearing that, William was lost for words. He turned around and kicked in the air. Then he turned back to look at Alice. "Miss Clyne, I just want to make you happy! Don't you know it? Did I fail? Why do you think I want you to hide?"

Now Alice finally stopped doubting William. Her eyes swept over him. "Alright." "You're not happy about that?"

William was not satisfied with her reaction.

"Yes." Alice said as she held her head with both hands. She truly felt that she was becoming stupid. "Maybe it's because I'm pregnant. I'm thinking too much." "Yeah!"

William glared at her.

"Alright, don't frown at me like that, Alice said, "Then let's go back to San Francisco as soon as possible. You can Start preparing to deal with Lancaster, okay?" fo

"I know!"

William looked very arrogant. Just as he was about to say something, his phone rang. William picked it up, and Someone said anxiously "Mr. Cullen, oh my God! The house is on fire!"

Alice could hear him even if William didn't put him on the speakerphone.

Alice opened her eyes wide in shock.

They immediately took a detour back to the old house. The smoldering house fumed thick black smoke from afar.

The bodyguards cleared the way for them.

The old house had started burning up. Fires were spreading over the walls, and black smoke were rising from the windows. They could feel the heat from afar.

Alice was stunned. Why was it on fire in such a short time?

That was impossible.

If William had not insisted on taking her out, she might be trapped in the fire now.

Smoke filled the air.

The bodyguards could not put out the fire.

More and more people gathered to watch the fire.

Flames were devouring the old house and spreading under the sky.

The fire glared on everyone's face.

Alice suddenly thought of something and stepped forward. William immediately

stopped her and stared at her, "What are you doing?"

"Eric, Eric is in the house! He's in danger."

Alice shouted nervously.

The fire had been burning. They could hardly hear each other.

"Master, I'm here."

Hearing Alice's voice, Eric stepped out of the crowd and gave her a gentle bow.

Alice was so relieved to see Eric. She shook off William's hand, rushed to Eric and hugged it tightly. "I'm glad you're alright! I was worried about you!"

Eric had never just been a robot for her. It stayed with her while William was not

there.

William stood there and looked at his hand that was pushed away. His face darkened immediately.

Had he created a rival in their relationship?

Damn it!

After Alice confirmed that there was nothing wrong with Eric, she turned to look at

William and walked back to him. "William."

"Leave me alone!"

William snorted.

"The glass cranes and the books you sent me...."

Alice said anxiously. William sent her eleven gifts, but they were all burned in the

fire now.

Those glass cranes were very pretty. She liked them so much that she did not want to lose them.

But William just pulled her back. "I will make it up to you later! We can't take out anything from such a big fire!"

Alice also knew it. But she still felt very sad, because William spent much time on those presents.

It was like a drama. William burned the eleven presents Patrick gave her, and now his compensations were also burnt.

Alice looked at the old house in the distance. The fire beamed on her face. After she watched it for a long time, the flames became blurry in her eyes.

Those memories and her past had also been buried in such a big fire. William had said that he did not know if they would come back again. Now Alice

knew that they could never come back.

Everything was burned.

Suddenly, Alice found herself in William's strong arms.

William hugged her from behind. She leaned against him and gradually calmed

down.

By the time the firemen arrived, it was too late to put out the fire. The old house had been burned to the ground.

Alice looked upstairs. The glass cranes hanging on the balcony had disappeared.

She looked at the pavilion and remembered the time when she and Patrick hid there and had fun.

She looked at the living room. When she was a kid, Mary was clingy and they had

a great time playing around.

But now, everything had turned to ashes.

A bodyguard ran over from the

firemen. He walked to William and respectfully bowed to him, "Mr. Cullen, we've tried to find out where

the fir@began. Although we are not very sure, it might be set on fire by someone."

It was arson.

Alice's eyes widened in shock. Could it be that Lancaster wanted to kill William by

the fire?

She looked at William, only to see his calm face. It seemed that he had known it. William said coldly, "Who was left to guard the house?"
