A murderous look passed Angie’s eyes, all these years she had always believed that mark loved her but she was wrong he clearly still loves that witch.

“Mark you’ve disrespected me today and I’m very hurt” old Grayson said helping himself to a wooden chair in the almost burnt out apartment.

“You feel hurt? I thought you were a stone! stones don’t have feelings, do you know how hurt I felt after learning about all the treacherous things you did?”

Nicholas knuckles turned white as they were folded into fist balls.”dad you raised your hands against my mum which wasn’t right!”

“And what you are doing to Liam is right? Answer me!”

Angie gasped in shock and pushed mark harshly which made him slipped and hit his head on the marbled floor..

Mark was rushed into the hospital ward by the paramedics. Old Grayson turned sharply to Angie. “if anything happens to my son! you will pay dearly for it!” he threatened.

“it… was an accident father I didn’t mean to do that!” she whimpered.

She prayed silently for mark to be alright, she didn’t want to go to jail for murder since they were no longer influential anymore.

Liam fondled with his pen with his face facing the ceilings. He was in a deep thought when his phone rang, he raised it to his ear as soon as he heard the next word he sat up on his seat.

“What?”

He hung up the call and grabbed his coat hurrying out of his office..

Amelia accepted the glass of water from Chelsea while walking towards kelvin. It’s been so long since she saw him or spoke with him, he saw her approaching his way and smiled at her which she returned.

She handed the glass of water to Chelsea and briefly shook hands with him.

“Oh my! Amelia I thought you’ve forgotten about me because of your husband”

“I don’t forget good people kelvin and by the way you are among them” she let out a toothy smile and punched him lightly.

“Amy!”

Amelia froze for a while hearing the familiar male voice who just called out her name.

She slowly turned and before she could react, he pulled her into his embrace.

“D.. ad?” she stuttered trying to catch her breathe, her beloved dad was here with her now.

Anthony pulled away from the hug and planted small kisses on her cheeks.

“My little Amy is all grown up”

Amelia embraced him once again and that was when she noticed Karl’s presence.

He avoided her gaze and turned away from the lovey dovey scene between the father and daughter.

“Dad where have you been all these years? I missed you so much!” she cried out staring at his face.

Kelvin and Chelsea excused themselves since this was a family moment.

Anthony took her hands in his and led her out of the building. “I will explain everything to you”

Karl sipped his juice slowly staring at the two before him. He once had a dream like this to be close to his father but that dream was shattered years ago.

“I know you have a lot of questions dear and I promise to answer it all for you”

“Why did you leave us like that? I was very hurt when you left mum and I it was the most devastating years of my life”

Anthony squeezed her hands “I never left you… infact you were taken away by your mum”

“What? mum would never lie to me dad”

“So you think I will lie?”

Karl rolled his eyes and snorted, lying was his nature which made his question extremely ridiculous.

Amelia stared at Karl for a brief second and then to her dad.

“You’ve lied once before, if you had said the truth years ago I would have had a big brother who will love me so much and spoil me a lot”

Karl raised a brow, he didn’t want to be here, he just doesn’t have enough courage to face his half sister after what he did to her in the past.

Anthony placed his hand on his head covered with black and gray hair. “I swear on my life that I didn’t abandon you, your mum took you away from me”

Amelia gasped softly, so her mum has been lying to her all these years about her dad?.

“So if this show is about you both why am I here?” Karl questioned.

“I need my children back”

Karl’s mouth twitched, he glanced briefly at Anthony “How many times will I repeat this same thing to you? I don’t want to have a father anymore!”

Amelia suddenly stood up and left the restaurant in anger..

The beeping sounds from the machines and devices attached to mark’s body was heard. The door opened as a tall figure loomed over him.

His head was covered with a bandage, he lashes fluttered open after feeling the presence of another person in the ward.

“Please don’t kill me this way!” he panicked trying to move.

Liam sat down next to him on the bed and took his dad’s hands in his.

“I will ask only one question which you would provide an answer to! was this an accident or was it intentional?”

Mark’s eyes rounded in shock, was this Liam? or was his sight affected after the fall.

“Who pushed you down? and don’t think about lying to me”

“Angie”

He came out of the ward and made a quick phone call. He was about to leave when he heard his name.

“Liam!”

He turned around to meet his grandfather’s eyes “Add a little respect when addressing me we are no longer in the same status or class anymore!”
