MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Louisa sat up from the bed, she sighed in relief, she couldn’t wait to get back to her apartment.

The doctor scribbled some words on his notepad before handing it over to the nurse beside him.

“You are good to go now…” The doctor said with a smile.

“That’s a relief” she murmured and helped herself down from the bed.

She had expected Amelia to show up today but she didn’t.

Louisa came out of the ward, she was a bit surprised to see Dylan sitting patiently waiting for her.

She noticed the dark circles under his eyes, he must have had a tough time sleeping.

She managed to smile at him, which he returned back also.

“How are you feeling now?” he asked to ease the tense atmosphere.

“Was I ever sick?” she asked in exaggeration which made Dylan’s grin widen.

Clara’s words kept haunting her last night that she was wide awake the whole night, was she really wrong with her perspectives about Dylan?

“Thank you”

Dylan lifted a brow “What is that for?”

“for everything, even though I was so mean to you.. you still showed me your support”

Dylan stared at his feet and nodded in understanding..

“It was my pleasure Lou”

Louisa snapped her head to him, after all these days he finally called her shortened name.

“I can drop you off if you want” Dylan offered which she obliged to.

He was a bit curious on what brought the sudden change in her attitude towards him, he was sure that there was more to her change in attitude other than her gratefulness to him..

Liam dismissed his driver and took the steering himself, he roughly drove out of the school leaving behind a cloud of dust behind him.

His heart pounded hard against his ribcage as he thought of different possible reasons that Amelia would do that to him.

Within few minutes he got to the hotel, he used the elevator to reach the fifth floor quickly.

He glanced at the closed door in front of him and swallowed hard.

Liam stretched out his hand shakingly to the door, he pushed it open slowly and entered the room.

He felt the air around him seized by the sight in front of him, he staggered a bit and knocked down a small penguin statue resting on a shelf.

Amelia rested her head on Nicholas bare chest, his arm was strongly wrapped around her waist.

The noise of the statue was enough to wake them up from their sleep.

Amelia opened her eyes and was a bit surprised on seeing Liam .. she raised her head from Nicholas chest and frowned deeply.

Her eyes widened when she realized that she was half naked under the sheet.

“Liam!” Amelia called out.

Meanwhile Nicholas had a smile on his develish face, he pulled Amelia to himself. “don’t be scared baby… he was bound to find out sooner or later”

Amelia wriggled out of his grip and threw a slap to his face.

Liam gritted his teeth in anger, his knuckles turned light purple. He walked towards Nicholas and threw a punch at his face.

“You dared lay your hands on my wife!!”

Nicholas crackled up in laughter, which only annoyed Liam.

“I once told you that I will have Amelia just like how you got her through a stand…. now look at her! look at those love bites on her body.. I marked her as mine”

Amelia’s eyes turned red, hot tears flowed down her face, she grabbed her dress that was on the bed and dawned it on.

Liam threw Nicholas across the room after he made that statement.

“Liam don’t listen to him nothing of that sought happened! he is lying”

Liam swiftly turned to her and grabbed her chin “did I ask you to speak? where did I go wrong? answer me!” Liam yelled jerking her up.

He punched the wall above her head in anger which made her scream out in fright.

“You once said that I was impotent… I just showed you how manly I can ever be and that too with your wife!” Nicholas scorned.

Liam’s eyes rested on her neck where the hickeys were.

Amelia raised her hands to cover the hickeys, she touched his arm.”Liam please don’t believe all these.. I could never betray you this way” she pleaded.

Liam pulled his arm out of her grip “I don’t want you calling my name with your filthy mouth… and I don’t want to see you anymore! I’m so ashamed of you.. I was such a fool to fall for a person as cheap as you!”

Amelia sent a hot slap to his face which only fueled his anger.

“Is this the trust you have for me? you know well how much I love you… I fought everyone just for your sake and you are questioning my character?” Amelia fired harshly at him.

Liam pointed at the bed glaring at her “Then tell me what that was! I’m not an idiot.. the signals were there but I chose to believe you because I loved you… and what did you do? you betrayed me by having an affair with my enemy!”

Amelia swallowed hard, her tears flowed down endlessly as she watched Liam leave the room in anger. she clamped her mouth with her hands to stop herself from screaming out…..

Liam entered his car and sped off, his heart was completely shattered, he felt cheated and lifeless.

He banged the steering and yelled out in pain, he finally understood the feeling of being cheated on. Even though his heart chose not to believe it all the evidence were there.

The flight ticket he saw earlier and the letter everything… and what about the photos he found in her parcel the other day….

Liam was so deeply shattered that he failed to see the truck behind his car.

Mark handed Brianna the flowers he got, she sniffed it and smiled in content.

“So you still know what my favorite flower is after all these years that passed by?” Brianna commented touching the white lilies.

Mark lifted a brow “What do you mean by that? everything about you is imprinted in my heart and it will always remain that way”

“Daddy”

Mark heard his name being called out, he snapped his head to the direction of the voice.

Chloe ran to him with tears in her eyes, she embraced him sobbing gently.

“Chloe? why are you crying?” Mark asked worriedly stroking her hair.

Chloe rubbed her eyes “Big sis has gone missing and we can’t find her”

The glass of juice on Cecile’s hands fell down causing a shattering noise.

“What?”

A guard hurriedly walked into the living room, he had a worried look on his face as he stared at them.

“Master there’s a huge problem” he announced which got them all worried.

“What is it?” mark inquired his heart was already beating faster than normal.

“Young master was involved in an accident few minutes ago”

Brianna gasped and passed out….
