“Janet, did you see it?”

Ernest’s voice was a little anxious, and Janet replied confusedly, “What?”

“The news of your divorce has been exposed! How long has it been? That sc*mbag must have done it!”

Ernest was angry, and his tone was tinged with distress. Although this news had been blocked, he

knew a reporter well, so he still got to learn about it.

Janet felt suffocated. She pinched the phone so hard that her fingertips turned white.

She didn’t know why he was so impatient.

She was silent, but Ernest on the other side became angrier and angrier

“I think he just wants to give way to his sweetheart. When he got married, nobody knew it, but now his

divorce is widely known. He’s disgusting!”

Ernest kept rambling, but Janet remembered the photo she had seen the last time.

In the photo, the man was slightly bent, and a thin cheek was exposed from the side of his profile. The

two were clearly….

kissing.

Nathaniel had never bent for her, but now he was so humble in front of another woman.

Sure enough, his love for her was unconcealed.

Janet was overwhelmed with pain. But in the end, she just showed a bitter smile. “We are already

divorced. He is free to marry

whoever he wants.”

Ernest was about to speak but was suddenly interrupted by an unbelievable voice.

“Juliana, you’re alive!”

The woman’s voice was sharp, and she looked at Janet as if looking at a ghost.

Janet looked up at the person who came in and explained to Ernest, “You don’t need to worry about

this matter. It’ll bother you. I’ll deal with it myself. I have something else to deal with. See you.” Then,

she hung up the phone.

Putting the phone aside, Janet looked at the woman standing at the door.

Her face turned cold when she saw the woman’s luxurious clothes and dazzling diamond necklace.

“Cousin, are you so surprised that I am alive?”

Coral Doherty seemed scared for a moment and became righteous again. “Of course, I’m surprised.

Where have you been since you haven’t come home for so many years? Do you know that my parents

were worried to death?”

When Janet spoke, she stared at Coral closely and saw her expression clearly.

Her heart sank because Coral seemed like she was hiding something.

She smiled mockingly and said, “That’s how you worry about me? Wearing fancy clothes and coming

to my house to miss

me?”

Coral was startled by her cold tone. She seemed completely different from that Juliana, who had

always been soft when she

bullied her.

Then she realized that Juliana was mocking her.

Coral’s eyes were burning in anger as she stepped forward. “Juliana, don’t be complacent. Let me ask

you, did you target my dad in the company?”

Janet glanced at her casually. “What can you do if I did?”

Coral pointed at her angrily. “He has worked so hard for your family, but you seize his power as soon

as you return! Do you have any conscience!”

She seemed as if she was telling the truth.

But Janet was no longer the innocent little girl she had been back then.

She looked at the shining necklace around Coral’s neck and smiled faintly. “Your necklace is the Eye of

Neptune, the finale of the last Spring Dawn Auction. Did you earn it by hard work as well?”

A million–dollar necklace was just her daily item. It seemed like they had been using her family’s

money justifiably.

Coral subconsciously covered her necklace with a guilty conscience on her face.

Janet spoke lightly, but the hatred in her heart could hardly be suppressed. From NôvelDrama.Org.

Her parents had devoted themselves for so many years, but her aunt’s family was so ungrateful!

But so many years had passed, even if there were evidence, it could hardly be found. She couldn’t be

impulsive.

Janet looked down at the Black Hawk ring on her hand and said coldly, “Coral, I wonder who paid for

your jewelry. My family or yours?”

Coral was even more panicked. She bit her lip and was about to speak when she heard Janet’s voice

again.

“I remember you don’t have shares in the company, right? From now on, the Longfellow Group won’t

give money to idlers.”

Coral froze, and her face turned pale. If the company didn’t give her money, she would have no

income. What would she do in the future?

Why?

Why did Juliana want to take everything away from her as soon as she returned after disappearing for

ten years?

Coral was dazzled by the anger, pointed at Janet’s nose, and began to curse, “I’m your cousin! My

father is in charge of the Longfellow Group! How could you say that?”

The more she spoke, the angrier she became. She raised her hand high, wanting to slap Janet hard.

But the next second, someone grabbed her hand.

“Who is barking? How dare you insult my sister? I shall break your legs.”

The man’s voice was cold as ice, making Coral shudder involuntarily..

She looked over and gritted her teeth.

It was Beacher again!

Beacher had been protecting Juliana since he was a child, and even after Juliana died, he still watched

this place.

If it weren’t for him, Conrad would have transferred this house to the Doherty family. He was so

annoyed!

“Beacher, this is a matter between us. Go away!” Coral was about to break free from his hand.

Beacher looked frivolous, looking at her with disgust in his eyes. He let go of her hand like throwing

trash and whistled. “Howar, come out and play with this idiot.”

Howar was Beacher’s mastiff. It was once trained in the army and was an extremely fierce and

protective dog.

More importantly, Coral was bitten by it once!

“Woof!”

Coral’s face turned pale in an instant, and she ran wildly out regardless of her manners!

When Janet walked to the window, she saw Coral panic and fall into the fountain in the courtyard.

“Haha!”

She covered her mouth and snickered, watching Coral become sopping and run outside while cursing.

When she turned around, she met Beacher’s doting gaze.
