Lucien gasped as she stared at the beautiful fancy restaurant she had drove into now.

Even Thelma was wowed because she hadn’t seen this place before.

She wondered where Derick would be because they left earlier leaving them with the address which they had located with a goggle map.

Thelma got down dressed in a blue flowing gown with pair of heels to match and a clutch purse .

She looked real beautiful .

” So I am wondering if today is your wedding day because you really had a lot of glam here and there ” Lucia said making Thelma giggle .

” Well dear Lucia today is more than a wedding day to me ” she said and walked away before Lucia would ask her questions she didn’t want to answer now.

Lucia stared at Thelma as she walked away.

She couldn’t explain what she meant but well she is here and she has eyes .

She followed her lead and walked into the restaurant .

A wow escaped her lips as she looked around .

Thelma caught sight of Derrick and Lucien sitting on a table at a dimly lit side and she walked to that direction signalling to Lucia also who looked lost gazing at the beautiful interiors ..

Derrick quickly stood up and drew out a chair for her as she sat down shyly.

Lucia held out her seat and Derick winked at Lucien to draw out her seat also but Lucien rolled his eyes which made Lucia scoff because she had not failed to notice the eyes exchange .

She drew out her chair and sat down.

” So what’s popping up ” she asked inquisitively making Lucien roll his eyes

” What a lady ” he said slowly making Lucia feel like killing him immediately. .

” Uhmm excuse me everyone ” Derick said and made a sign with Lucien before standing up .

” So what would you like to eat Thelma” Lucien asked and Lucia scoffed wondering why he had not asked her .

Immediately the lights went off and Thelma became scared same as Lucia.

” Are we about to be kidnapped , why does this fancy restaurant not have a standby electricity panel ” Lucia said with a fearful tone .

” Calm down Thelma , calm down ladies. ” Lucien asked trying not to be suspicious.

Immediately a soft music was playing at the background and their eyes moved to the direction of the music and the light got on revealing a well decorated restaurant now and at the far end Derick on his kneels with a box containing a shiny golden ring in his hands.

Thelma felt tears build up in her eyes as she saw the different banners and designs hanging everywhere.

” Will you marry me ” came the slow words from Derrick’s lips which sent shudders.

” Yes I will anytime at all” Thelma answered with joy in her .

Lucia felt her eyes water and quickly wiped it before it could drop and sniffed wondering if she had someone who loves her in her previous memories .

Lucia stared wide eyes at her .

Was she crying .

Hmm women can be so dramatic” he thought .

” Ok let the party begin ” Lucien said as everyone ranging from their friends and families joined the gathering and the music started rolling in .

Cara took off her heels as she sat down on her bed.

Hmm she can’t really place why she didn’t believe the security guy and her mind drifted back .

” Who is that guy that drove off with that lady’s car just now ” she said trying to sound normal and not like someone prying .

” Oh he said he came to take the car for his madam ” he said and Cara twitched her brows.

” Are you telling me the truth ” she asked looking at his eyes which were everywhere else but not on her .

” Yes why would I lie ” he said and Cara found nothing else to do than to tell him to leave .

” Go ” she said and he immediately exited.

” So she is also rich that’s why Lucien was attracted to her but why was she at his place the other time . Are they cohabitating” she sighed as all these thoughts ran through her head. .

Cara palmed her face as she thought about everything .

Something doesn’t seem right to her but there’s nothing she could do about it . .

She took her clothes off and dumped it in the laundry basket before walking into the bathroom.

” Yay go Lucia, go Lucia ” were the voices heard from few guys as Lucia whined her waist to the beat of the music .

Lucien knew she was under the influence of strong alcohol but he didn’t force her to have them .

He smiled as he watched Thelma and Derrick dance with love and admiration .

They would make a cute couple: he knew of it and can’t wait to plan their wedding .

A clash of bottle by his side alerted him as he saw Lucia pointing a half broken bottle at one of the guys.

Lucien watched and wondered how these rude guys got into here .

He noticed the exchange of words and saw that Lucia was already tired and was falling asleep due to the influence of alcohol and he knew that if he didn’t step in , she might be hurt .

He tried to convince himself that he was just doing it to avoid ruining Derrick’s engagement but his spirit was saying something else .

He walked towards her and snapped at the guy who was about carrying her.

” Who are you barking at ” he said making Lucien smile.

” Stay away from her and away from here if you don’t want to incure the SPENCER’S FAMILY WRATH . ” He said and he could see the fear in his eyes as he quickly hurried off.

Lucien turned to look at Lucien and before he could say anything she slid on his shoulder and threw up on him …
